About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. Our dream is that someday we are able to transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm.
Look at Toby being such a good boy and chilling by Bruce to make him feel comfortable on the farm.
He seemed happy to see the goose.
I was just about to comment this. Toby laying in front of Bruce's home, with his back to Bruce to show that he wasn't overly interested on Bruce, and that Bruce can just relax in there😄.
I was just going to say the same thing. Morgan has trained Toby so well. He said sit when he was carrying in Bruce and Toby sat right down
Toby says "You're a bird! I'm a bird guard dog. I chase away anything that messes with birds, it's what I'm for!"
I'm pretty sure he's just there to eat poop.

YES YOU CAN BY MOVING FASTER AND STOP FILMING FROM ALL SIDES.
In order to get different clipüs from different sides You have to set the camera on another side and then again keep feliming, but all this time the poor thing is in that cage.
SO STOP DOING THAT.

everytime I see him do that I also say he should say release the geese..lol
Would keeping the cage covered with a towel while carrying it around help to keep the goose calmer if you have to transport one again? Also some newspaper or cardboard on the bottom so their feet aren't poking though the wire uncomfortably might help calm them a little.
yes, birds do best when they can't see what's going on. i'm sure being able to look at a large dog (prey animal to most farm fowl unless they've been around dogs), a bunch of unknown birds, and just open land was very stressful. but it's all a learning process. i'm sure next time a bit of cardboard in the bottom of the cage and keeping it covered will really help.
I just snatch mine up. They usually calm down when you're holding them under your arm petting them.
Very true was thinking the same thing as soon as he was being moved from the truck bed. But also questioning no quarantine for Bruce?

Yes. What Morgan really should have done was get a dedicated pet taxi, or carry Bruce without the cage. You just hug the wings with the feet pointed away from you, it's easy. Bruce should never have been injured.
Notes for the future: As others have said, keep the birds covered when moving them in a crate, it keeps them calmer. I would also opt for a solid sided container or something with a much tighter mesh so they can't put body parts through the cage.

Yep,in wildlife rehab we always used plastic dog crates for large birds,like pelicans.

Oh darn, I was going to suggest that! You beat me to it. Still, a good suggestion for releasing the geese.
Sound the honkers! (Archaic english usage, but I think it'd be grammatically correct. I'm a bit rusty, though.)
Edit #1 on 2021/2/2: I'm still unsure if it's proper English; I was thinking of a variant of the phrase "sound the alarm." Also, although I've been reading up on poultry, I've not seen much on how common it is for the autosexing trait to be passed down, so if that's something you want to keep, might be a good idea to keep an eye out for when it's successfully passed to goslings. I've no personal experience with poultry, so my responses are just conjecture, and probably of little weight. Hope it goes well!
Edit #2 on 2021/2/2: References! I've mainly been reading up using The Livestock Conservancy website and Poultry Keeper website. Will try the library after Covid clears up.

Literary found this channel like a year ago and everytime new video comes up its like a holiday 👀 funny im not even into farming that much but i just love the atmosphere that is present and how simple and not “money hungry” this channel is.. even the videos are like just pure joy to watch cause they are just so comforting and strait promote good will and focus primarily on the farm and animals.. other farming channels that youtube recommends either focus on the family issues and esp kids🙄 or just jump all over the place (which is nothing wrong with that but that breaks the point of the farm channel, posting videos about the kids and family is a family vlogs and that is just common and repeated sooo many times) these guys get it right so good job 💯💯💯
