dude thanks man!!! This helps a lot. I've been using my serato but didn't realize I calibrated wrong. Can't wait to get home and do it the right way....
What's man good video just wondering if you know what my problem is. When nothing playing it will move to 48 give or take as soon as I turn music on it goes all the way to the right.
I'm sure I am calibrated properly, but I still sometimes get grumbling sound/song slowing down. What else could this be? New needles, new control record...maybe USB issue? Thanks in advance and thanks for all the vids. Very informative.
Great vid......quick ques....Im getting a distorted audio signal with 1200s (you can hear the song very muffled and distorted. It is NOT giving digital grumbling. I'm getting this even in internal mode with the 1200s but everything is fine when I use CDs (line mode) Input?
I have a problem with my Serato, I just bought SL2 and for some reason, when trying to calibrate my control vinyls, the threshold is constantly at -24.0 dB?? i press the 'estimate' buttons in the setup when the control vinyls are not moving, and playing in INT mode, and it only calibrates when the needle is not on the vinyl, because as soon as i put the needle on the vinyl, even though its not moving, it just goes straight to -24.0 dB, can you help me please?
I'm using Numark Axis 9s with Serato and when i calibrate the cds the threshold stays to the far right (24.0db) is there any reason for this? Also the circles on just one of my decks is slightly fuzzy compared to the other which is perfect and tracks do sometimes either jump or get stuck on a loop from time to time however it plays normal cds ok, can any one help me or give me some advise on why this is or how to fix the issue?
This video is old but explains so much, better than most out there with better production and with recent gear! Any chance you could help me here? My noise sensitivity bar for my one deck is going all the way to -24 when i hit Estimate, and when i play there's no clear circle showing in the radar area (it seems to be all scattered as if particles just spread around). Any idea what i can do to fix it? Thank you so much again!

Wow, after looking at this clip and calibrating correctly, I'm getting much better feedback with my decks, thanks man!

Do you need to do this is your using CDJ's? If so , how? Since there is no needle to Calibrate.
