The inverted fullback also use in 4 2 3 1 formation. For example the left back goes inside, left central midfielder goes between the lines, number 10 between the lines, two winger on the touch line. And in a back line is 3 players: left centreback, right centreback, right back. And formation become 3 2 4 1 or 3 2 5 in offensive fase. In defence fase is 4 4 1 1 or 4 4 2 or maybe 4 2 2 2.
Why didn't you use a 4-1-4-1 formation as an example with the two 8's pushing forward and the fullbacks inverting next to the 6, causing a 5v4 against the back line.
He's already explained that one so many times tbf. But it is also much more common for an inverted full back to go further forward than move into a double pivot
