It was one of my dreams as a kid to have a huge Lego Star Destroyer. The closest I got was photoshopping myself holding the set (the older model). I watched this in slow motion to really take it in how it was built. Thank you for putting in the hard, detailed work to share this experience for others to live through vicariously!

My biggest dream was having the Mellinium falcon and the star destroyer lego sets cuz I like how much detail it has been put I to it
I might do this set after the International Space station if I get it cause I don’t know if the product will retire, And I also like how LEGO sets use random colored pieces for the structure of builds.
The detailing are nice and good, but I'm always the most fascinated by the skeletal structuring!

The Star Destroyer is my favorite ship of all time, but this set is too expensive and I have no where to put it, so this video was perfect. Thank you for taking the time to record this!
I admire your patience, it must have taken forever to build it this way. It took me about 9.5h to build the one I did for my channel. I can't imagine it taking anything less than 48h to to it this way. Impressive!!!

There is something very therapeutic about watching someone build Lego in stop motion. Lord knows how many hours in total it took to A) build and B) edit and finalise the whole video. However, thanks for putting this on and the end product looks immense.

Great 👍 work and this set is truly amazing
I had a star destroyer set when I was younger and I learned the importance of making sure each step was correct. It was my favorite set... but I misplaced a piece or two on the internals, making the entire star destroyer unstable. It eventually collapsed under the weak support. (I could not rebuild it because back then I didn’t keep the instructions) It was a turning point in my life and probably the cause of my current depression because I can’t buy the set again because it’s ridiculously expensive.

As much as I wish I could rebuild it, LEGOs were my thing over a long period of time, so I have a ridiculous amount of LEGOs, and so I have so many bins of legos and trying to find the pieces would be a really big pain and a big mess too.

Building this set alone would probably take a week or even more, but with the stop motion and editing it had to have taken at least a month, very impressive

It only takes about 8 hours to build it completely if you do it in a day without long breaks.

I built this set a few months ago. It’s actually pretty fun to build but it was tricky to make sure everything is lined up correctly. One of my favorite sets too. But the price 🙄

I haven't bought LEGO for a while and now see some of the "+" pins (or how they named) are yellow and red. It always been fair gray and black. Why they recoloured it?
Sometimes in big sets Lego produces coloured part for don't confuse them with all the othet pieces (in this case because all the ship is gray).

I got this set it took me almost 3 weeks to do with all the mistakes I made and I dropped it once but rebuilt it now it's sat in my lego collection at home great vid man keep it up
Dropping it would be my greatest fear. So when I'm able to buy this monstrosity I'm using some kind of adhesive.
