Hey guys, little bit of bad news here : I got sick and won't be able to record new videos for a little bit :( This one will be the last video for at least a couple days (hopefully not more than that) while I recover. I might still try to do a stream (without much commentary obviously) here and there if you guys really need some thermy content (Twitch link in the description) but besides that I'll be back soon enough so no worries ^^ P.S. I've been uploading my videos at the exact same time every day, some countries just didn't change DST yet :P
When stalkers blink up the ramp onto Thermy's bunkers - he takes his hand off the keyboard and goes to fix his glasses. The bunker survives 100 stalkers shots with 1 hp. What a legend. Could have been the most low-key legendary moment in the history of these challenges.
Actually the reason why your videos are so great is because YOU are genuinely having so much fun... so just focus on what YOU are most stoked about to keep that magic alive. Also enjoy your break, even if it's due to illness! =)

Your commentary is not only super informative, but it's uplifting to hear you so cheerful. I'm going through the hardest time in my life and will be for at least another 6 weeks, and your attitude makes me forget this misery for awhile. I'm so glad I found you, you're the relief I need. I've watched thousands of TH-cam videos and have only commented a handful of times, but I want to make sure that on the off chance you check a comment on a 3 week old video, that you know how truly helpful you are.
Also, thank you for keeping your mistakes in these videos (like accidentally canceling building barracks). It's good to know that pros make errors too; though far less frequently than I'd do LOL. Growth is nothing but us learning from our mistakes. I've been really enjoying ALL the _____ to GM content and I'm literally becoming a better SC2 player because of it. :) Your commentary is full of SO MANY tips that binge-watching automatically instills good strategic and tactical elements of the game in my brain/memory. Thanks a lot. And hope you feel better soon. Sending good healing vibes.

Seen someone in the comments suggest Phoe + Immo, I too would love to see that for a protoss challenge. In general I'm diggity down for any series with any race, especially if you're excited about it. So long as we have good variety/consistency balance thing going that you seem to strive for very well, I think that enthusiasm for the game is the best compass. My fiddy cents.
I'd watch anything! Off race videos would be great to watch and would be refreshing to see something other than terran. Oh and get well and feel better soon thermy!
Id like to see more challenges like the bongcloud where you can build all units but put yourself in a weird disadvantage. Maybe something to do with not using the unique advantages of Terran buildings? So no Orbitals, no Planetaries, cant float your buildings or lower your depots?
For previous challenges like Ghost and Hellion/Raven - Marc was saying at the end that we are finishing the show but we may still see the unit composition which we enjoyed again or even resume a challenge for an episode. Now, second time in a row, for both Cyclone/WidowMine and Marine - Marc says "last episode EVER" and "last game EVER" - I fill some additional stress on that "EVER", like for some reason Marc doesn't want to play this composition EVER again. )))
Another challenge idea "All out" The opposite of all in. Basically you have to play defensive for like 5 minutes of every game. Stay on your side of the map until a certain point.
Hi uThermal. As always - I really enjoy your channel. About that 'stim-a-move mech' style, I've got another idea for you. When you're gonna play protoss challenge, name yourself stim-a-move, get Kerrigan on your portrait and go only mass air toss. That would fuck other players brains :D

I have a suggestion for another "X to Grandmaster". Pick 3 builds - whatever you want - and rotate through them, in order, every game. So, Game 1, you go Build 1, Game 2/Build 2, Game 3/Build 3, and Game 4 you go back to Build 1. Here's the catch, you have to tell your opponent at the beginning of the game what the build is called.
Definitely a video I'm gonna save, but please have it in the title that it's the final to a series, makes it difficult to remember what it's about otherwise. :-)
About having a cheeky name for series, like stimamove for mech.. What if, one of your series is something like Ruse to GM, where everything you do is based off of deception. Build orders that are designed to trick your opponents, pretending to be afk but hidden base, doing convincing upgrade timings that only a psycho would change...
Little late to the party, but at the beginning of the last game I was immediately saying "You tell us all the time that someone being chatty at the beginning is trying to distract you to make their cheese work!" Now I'll keep watching to see if I'm right or if it's option 1 or 2 (drunk or high).
I have an idea for a unit upgrade. If both players are playing zerg, and one player uses a Nydus worm, then the other player can send his own units through the Nydus worm. So in other words, once any Nydus worm is built, any Zerg player can send units through it. I don't see why not. If Zerg units have the ability to crawl through the ground and crawl through the guts of a worm, then why not? One worm is as good as any other worm.
I don't think the Zerg understood how to handle marauders. Banelings are actually really bad against them, but he kept morphing banes against an army that was like 75% marauders.
Hope you get better soon! Idk if you did this before, but a video suggestion may be to do a video series on titling, where you can only let your opponent attack you.

Would No Energy to GM be possible? Only making units and structures that don't have an energy bar?

What if you use thors with medivacs, for flexibility?
Turtle to GM: no scouting, no attacking, only defending.
