I seem to have problem with the first video guide so when I pull the monkey near the edge of the cliff and use the girls attack to knock him off my attack would miss on him or he'll dodge it why is that? I'm guessing my level is too low that's why her attacks miss on him I'm Level25 right now. Also when he does fall and dies in the water Only 1 chest appears in the water how you get 5 chest to appear there? You just teleport back and keep killing? I did do that but he keeps giving me the same crappy items the horns & gems in Brown chest but want I really want is the large white chest to appear that has good weapons & gear sigh.
@@HuuTonyTran is the monster on sleep status? You should not miss your attack. Or did you accidently hit it before spear break. Make sure your party do not attack and have melia disengage battle after you put monster to sleep. Those 5 box are save scumming method. You save the game and reload, the box will stay in map. I believe ~20 is the max. As for silver chest it's RNG, but you can link riki's skill tree for higher rate, 10% each. ( melia has the fastest affinity slot to link with).
@@cheapercheapest5580 Yeah you're right about that but when I pull the monkey to edge and put him to sleep my other 2 characters running from the distance would spawn appear next to me instantly attacking the monkey not giving me enough time to disengage the battle = fail. Even if I did manage to disengage the battle shulk & big guy would already be half way to land there attacks on him monkey which wakes him up already = fail for me. I can't do it fast enough as soon as I put him to sleep my characters would instantly appear and attack it not giving me enough time to switch buttons to disengage the battle dam it 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@HuuTonyTran have you tried to give them the command to stop fighting and to gather at your position? It should give you enough time to 'flee' from combat and once you as leader of the group stopped attacking they shouldn't attack either. The button combination is one of the shoulder buttons + down on the d-pad I think...not entirely sure but I think so.
You can get Dunban (2 slot) riki (2), Reyn (3), Melia (3) , Seven (3) weapon . Some armor (which is pretty strong phys defense early game for Reyn), Lancelot (1 slot), str gem V, physical protect V and some manuals. Since early game, most player only control Dunban/Reyn/Shulk, it should suffice for cruise sail the game. These weapon are useful for the next farming vid that i have posted.
@@cheapercheapest5580 Are you sure about the Melia and Sevens weaps? Do they come from the Gold or Silver chests? because I've farmed this for an hour Flat and nothing besides Riki and Dunbans weapons have dropped. I've had armor drop for Seven but no weapons.
@@manayggdras3100 Dunban and Riki weapons come from Silver Chests. Seven,Melia and Reyn weapons drop from Gold Chests (there's also possible bonus xp/ap weapons for Dunban/Melia/Sharla in gold chests).
@KingM it's a spoiler for the last character that joins your party so back in the days the community decided to give the character the code name 'seven', since it's the seventh character to join your team and to avoid spoilers.

Wow this is insane. I’m a noob to this game so this really makes things easier. Quick question though: isn’t Lancelot Gear the best gear or is there something I should look out for later?
ok I succeed in doing it some times but clearly they patched it, I was lucky that my Reyn used the sword drive and pushed him further because everytime the enemy gets stuck on a platform I've obtained only one item in 30 attempts for sure it's not worth anymore in my opinion
Do the chest reset on blizzard belgazas too... saves so much dang trouble... (two hits you die on him btw unless you get lucky with some gems. Other half of the attacks are almost guaranteed to one shot you... tiring)
This would be much more viable if my flee button wasn't blocked out. You could flee immediately in the Wii version if I recall, but in the DE it's blocked out for a few seconds, and by the time I'm able to press it, at least one party member already woke it up.
tip for the DE version. hold down ZR the moment after you cast hypnotise and press down on the dpad and you call your allies to you without needing to flee to make them not attack. then just circle wide of the Gogol so you don't auto attack it yourself and punt it off on its trip with spear break
I had trouble too at first. What worked for me was to put the Gogol to sleep on top of the small raised bump on the edge(as shown in the video) and then knock him towards the pillar underneath the gray platform above the water. After I started doing that I got it every time. Hope this helps

You get no exp from this whatsoever. Considering you had shulk at lv1, he got less exp than Melia. I guess it was away for people to deter power levelling like this. Maybe if you kill it normally, then it drops the right amount of exp. Edit- I thought the wii version did have you get large amount of exp but I just checked and it did not. I did get a nice sword for Dunban but it doesn't quite feel right to use it. Since you can level down in DE, I thought to see if this worked again as I have been hearing they patched it out.
its not patch, i think a lot of people don't realize you can save scum your treasure chest / costume appearance etc. Save first and load whenever you get bad drop. I believe a map can hold up to ~20 chest. For Silver/Gold chest, you need to try multiple times. Linking with Riki's skill gives up to 30% chance to get silver chest and 9% on gold chest.

How do you get them to go over the cliff so easily? Do I need to equip a Gem or something? Because my Spear Breaks only manage to push them just to the edge of the cliff (luckily I'm a high enough level that I can defeat one without too much difficulty, but still)
really late but how do you get melia to sheath her weapon mid combat. i lure the gogol to the spot, call off my party members so they don't attack but melia (who im controlling) still hits it with an auto attack and then it gets out of sleep
This method is not to power leveling but getting lv 70+ gear. There is a cap exp gain/current level. Since there is no requirement to equip the items, you basically have weapon/gear thats balanced around the final boss (LV 78).
Sleep ends if the Gogol is hit, they commanded their allies to come to Melia (ZR + down on the dpad) where they just stood and didn't do anything, especially after holstering Melia's weapon
That shouldn't be possible. The Gogols have zero protection against sleep, so even a nonleveled hypnosis grants five seconds of sleep as long as no one is touching him. It might be some sort of autoattack that's hard to see. Mash the "come to me" before and just after you've used hypnosis. When he is done, choose flee, position yourself at a small distance, and chose Melias art when you're at the right angle. I had huge issues with my party members attacking before I got the "come to me"-command timing down right.

Amazing little tip, the Loot pool seems fairly limited though, I've only got weapons for Riki, Dunban and the last Character.

Not exactly sure, it’s some of the best but with the new challenge mode it’s hard to tell seeing I haven’t tried it yet. It might have better armor.
You can get Rikkis ultimate weapon from an extremely rare drop by doing this!

I was able to get this to work with a high success rate on Wii, but I've been trying this dozens of times without getting it to work once yet.
I got to work once out of the last hour I've been trying and it felt like a fluke. This is way harder than the Wii version and not worth it.

That’s what expert mode for. You choose the level that you like to go for.

Save your game before you loot the item. If the item is not what want, then you reload until you do.

You just have to switch to run and then attack the gogol with the spear attack standing perpendicular to it

You didn't even gain one level.. This seems far less efficient than defeating Unique Monsters that are your level or higher.

My teammates INSTANTLY attack the gogol the moment it's asleep before I can even holster anything. Sucks.
@@conorb.1901 My flee option is blocked out for like 2 - 3 seconds and by the time I can actually use it, the party is already attacking the gogol.
