Unboxing my new Korg D1 stage piano. Unfortunately it is damaged. Nothing against KORG or the D1 whatsoever, just made this video to be on the safe side. Glad I did.
I just got mine in the mail and sure enough those EXACT SAME keys were broken on mine... and probably an additional 30 keys, brilliant. Got another coming in as a replacement in two days, hopefully this one has better luck.
And here we go. I just have mine D1 delivered yesterday with 6 broken keys from the right. Sending back to the shop and will wait for replacement. But if get it broken again I’m gonna ask for refund and go to some local shop around and buy it locally
Thanks for this video! Now I am really concerned. I have heard consistent problems with this piano and broken keys. I am just a beginner myself, and I wanted the RH3 action of the KORG to learn on. The higher end KORG's such as the SV2 and Grandstage have the same keybed, but don't have this breakage problem. Perhaps KORG should redesign the D1 and release it again to make it more robust and resistant to shipping damage. Have to find something useful here in the US. They say the Donner DP-20 is a good starter piano. Nit really willing to spend for a Roland FP-30X as a beginner...
I just got mine in the mail and the last black key was broken! What’s going on??! So much for an excellent keybed. And if it cant handle shipping, how will this make for a good gig piano?
What store did you buy this from? I just received mine and it literally has the same keys broken even though it was listed on the website as a non-damaged B-stock item!
@@oe6feg thanks for the reply! Yeah I'm pretty pissed I have to organise shipping it back now... But nothing I can do about it now. Hopefully getting my money back will go smoothly

I've had two now, one new and one 're-furbished' from Korg direct - and both arrived with a damaged keybed!
