Warrnambool Fogo Service

- Recently I made a trip down to the south west region of Victoria to document some of the waste services in play in that region. I managed to achieve a successful mission and capture everything I had in mind, the Warrnambool green waste service was no exception. This was a very curious service, run by a company called Fogo Warrnambool, which is obviously a local organisation, they run 3 trucks in Warrnambool from what I’ve seen, two of these little Iveco 2350g MJ units and new Volvo Gen6 on a 6x4 chassis. They collect the Fogo alongside the Wheelie waste units starting between 8:30 and 9pm. Unfortunately the truck we came across was a bit of a let down with the arm running at idle - no fun when an 07 GenV Acco is running at idle! But nevertheless it was a cool service to document. I did throw in a few scenes of the wheelie waste unit servicing the glass, hardly any glass bins were present for collection so it was a pain in the arse to record a decent amount of video.
Excellent video mate
what a find
The irony of a half gone flexie pipe on the exhaust of a night shift truck is classic Wheelie Waste who is the contractor.
Haha that’s what I was thinking, I’m sure the Warrnambool residents are big fans. Some small company called Warrnambool Fogo, never heard of them till they started this service.
@@GunzelingGarbo102 Don't mind me put a comma in where it shouldn't be. Wheelie is the sole contractor.
Nice one max. I do hate having no arm rev, the grill makes it a mean looking truck. Those revs make up for it though. Nice one fella
Cheers
bloody awesome little machine, reminds me of our old mini e4 gen v that we got rid of not long back, sucks that its running idle but in all good footage
may have a shit idle, but this thing sounds so hot taking off, it’s got such a deep rev, yea i’d personally think it’s also because of the night collections they wanna minimise noise, which makes sense, but would’ve made it so hot if it had an arm rev
great shots mate
Some of the Warrnambool residents aren’t exactly pleased with the night collections so the council probably require it to be run at idle
nice
What number was the Volvo?
Nice one man that's a funny looking euro 4 also strange how all bins even glass are collected fortnightly so is it one week red green and purple then the next yellow or red and green one week then purple snd yellow the next
i believe it is yellow purple 1 week then green red the next week
they work overnight
They tryna wake the whole of warrnambool up?
