I bought a snk803 in 2016. After using for a few months, I polished the case and put a Milanese strap on it. I think I might say I'm the father of this style. It looks gorgeous this way rather than the original snk803.
Sir the new logo of the seiko five, is pretty amazing, I remember the super hero, (Super Man) the man of steel. But the caliber of the seiko five is not pretty good, and not accurate than the swiss caliber like sellita or eta.,,,
I don't know if it's a lag on the website update or it's a non-U.S. release, but it's not showing on the U.S. Seiko site. Obviously we have ways of getting these through other vendors if we really want, but I found that interesting. I love the size of these, but I have a 7.25" wrist.
@@yusufbest4475 that’s a terrible example. I understand that seiko 5’s have day dates and I personally don’t like days and which is why I don’t purchase seiko 5 watches. But yes, they are iconic, you’re right about that.
40/48 is far from an "excellent size" for a skinny twen and wrists under 7.5 inch. It wears quite large and it shows in the wristshots I have seen. Suits a B-Uhr though.
Too bad sapphire makers gave up on single dome. A low single dome crystal looks so cool on many watches. They use to have them in the past but these days it is mostly double dome, which is kinda boring
Why can’t there be even a single TH-cam review of a watch remotely military style without butthurt Hamilton owners flocking in, insisting that theirs is the only true watch. The consistency is astonishing. I haven’t observed this with any other brand.
All I can say about Seiko 5 is that the symbol underneath the Seiko logo is terrible and I’ll never buy a watch with that eyesore design abomination. Edit: to not be all negative, you’re videos are great 👍
Everything under 1.0 is negligible and should not be taken into consideration. This is what watchmaking trainings say. So 1.1 is not as bad as you’d think.

Waiting for your review of the new 36mm models ! Hope you will get your hands on these soon.
I hope so too!
Got it just this month. A beautiful add to my collection.

How did you polish the case ?
@@saatlerucuzolsun thanks for replying . Where did you take it to get polished ? Like a jeweler or something?
@@BosworthMcG a watch repair shop. It takes like half an hour or so for an experienced guy
@@saatlerucuzolsun oh ok cool. Good to know . Thanks heaps for the info!!
The old snk was bead blasted which made it quite special

ahh the USA site is terrible! It is a nightmare for me to find USD prices for every video. It is a mission every time.
Wish there wasn’t a day date on it
Its a seiko five
I much prefer day date over date only.
@@henryperez606 I know and I get it. It’s seiko’s 5 things they have on the seiko 5’s. Just don’t care for day dates personally
Its iconic and its useful.. its like looking at a daytona watch and wishing that it doesnt have the chronograph complication..

Get the 36mm on the show soon!!
I filmed this over a month ago and the day after filming I found out about the 36. haha
Is this watch now discontinued ? And if so, does that hype up this watch for collectors?
Amazing review just loving your work ❤
Thank you so much!

Tell us you’re fat without telling us you’re fat.
Seiko should do a full lume dial..
That is a great idea
i can not find the SRPH23 in the US
Check out Kavar jewellers link in description

Great looking Seiko, however the best everyday military watch is the 38 Hammy Auto

no one cares, only you are comparing
It's lacking 24hr marking for it to be a true military watch.
4r36 ....275 $ jaja. EXPENSIVE

Too many numbers- who needs all that?
beat error 1.1 ! too much for new Seiko !
