After developing panic disorder due to a road traffic accident. My therapist told me to start listening to busy traffic sounds to help as part of recovery. And honestly it helped in some ways. This makes me want to get back out there and enjoy the busy world we live in.
wow I just recently thought if this could work cuz with pandemic I've gotten so not used to this .... today I went out st the noises were a little overwhelming
@@nayimarie Awwr that is understandable, I would try it , it's helped me a little I wouldn't say its a miracle or anything as I have not listened to it with consistency but it has helped a little
Anybody notice how much more motivating background NOISE is when compared to background MUSIC? Like, if I turn on music, it's so distracting because I'm either skipping the track, searching for the right track, or dancing/singing along. Plus there's usually ads and/or pauses between. The noise you just turn on, and there's no interruption. Just me?
Music works great when you have to do something boring that you can do without paying much attention. When you have to study music does not work. It is a shame because I love music, but unfortunately I cannot learn anything with it.
I moved out of a flat just because this noise started to get to me and I couldn't relax. Now this noise is the main reason I want to move back there because I realised it helped me feel alive and motivated 😂😭
i for some reason love busy cities. everybody i know seems to hate them but i enjoy these. i like seeing it being active at all hours, people walking around, cars everywhere, nice shops and everything, the lights from buildings at night, i love it.
why is it that this somehow relaxes me and helps me study for exams? I'm from the countryside and normally hate cities but this somehow works. thanks for the upload!
my boyfriend & i broke up recently. we went to peru together & when we slept at this hotel, this is what we’d hear outside the window. i’m laying with my eyes closed wishing i was back in that moment. i miss him.
it looks like bangkok, but ive lived in Silom, Bangkok for 1 year... Thai's very rarely use their horns. they are surprisingly tolerant drivers. unlike india or vietnam. and myanmar is quite disciplined too
This really good for dealing with scammer phone calls. They usually want you to leave the phone on while you drive to a bank or department store to get them money of gift cards. I had one sit on line for nearly two hours just listening to this.
I dont like noisy city sound But this vedio is very useful because I live in such an area where environment becomes very silent earlier at night. So I tend to fall asleep earlier. That doesnt let me study. But now I use this sound. It keeps my nerve awake.
Ginamit ko tong background sound na to para maligtas kay misis. Nasa hotel kasi ako nun tpos plinay ko yung sounds kunwaring na traffic sa daan.. Thanks.
This is so Awesome and so much fun to sleep off of lol, makes you feel like you are living in the city!! All of your videos are great and I appreciate everyone!! They make sleeping so much fun!!
My baby fall asleep within 3 minutes listening to this🥹 we live in country side there is no noise around here at all besides birds chirping. But my 1 year old finds this soothing. So I play this him to sleep even though this annoys me
I like how the people in the comments are using this video to either fall asleep, or to stay awake and study. I haven't lived in a city, but i see how this can help to put people in sleep
this is fucking sorcery. i full combo'ed a song on my silly little rhythm game that i was trying to full combo for ages, all because i realized i played better with background noise since it forced me to concentrate on the game only. i'm so happy😭😭
Hello. If you want to protect your ears from acoustic impact, I recommend that you use a piece of cotton. Put it in such a way that you have your hearing protected, but at the same time, that it lets you hear. Thank you.

I love falling asleep to this. When I was little we lived on a busy street, I would fall asleep every night to similar sounds. So soothing.
Ann Marie yup
I love jokes!
Ya cuz were workaholics, not a bad thing tho, we're not retired yet lol
Excellent
Yup

I liked comment cuz its just you 😂
Kidding, same. Altho classical music works too, no lyrics and peaceful, positive.
I make music, so the struggle becomes even more real for me ;-;
My on'y released song is a shitty lofi song I made in 20 mins though 😂
Nope. I use the Star Trek USS Enterprise engine sound for this very thing.
Just don’t have something you dance to. Something slow, quiet.

Used this as background to tell my boss I was late cuz of traffic... I was on my bed the whole time!
I just did that too! LOL
Genius. I would never think about doing something like that xD
hahahaha great idea
Thats what everybody does 🙂
If I did this, they would think I was on holiday. Traffic around here almost never uses horns unless an extreme accident is imminent.
I live in a big city and whenever I go on vacation or to a smaller town I have trouble sleeping and this definitely helps!
Lol are you serious? That's so crazy. Glad you found this
Hey buddy I'm walking here!!!
Hey!!! What's wrong wit chuu? I'm walkin ovah heeere.
Well, walk faster! I'm trying to get to work!
This is the best city traffic ambiance I've heard! Really sets the mood when I'm writing.
thats how you train your concentration?
Ahhh.. I'm missing this....just quarantine things
Hah very funny

A beautiful cacophony. I love the morning commute
Awesome, around 59 min, you can even hear a mosque in the distance. I love this video, reminds me so much of my time in Asia!
this city noise reminds me of my childhood home in india.
Same it calms me down listening to it
yeah, it just screams "India"
lmao same

I live in a busy city...
These noises will help me relax
I'm listening this while studying for my driver's exam
I'm weak! haha
this sound helps me relieve when Panic attacks or anxiety occur, I miss my country so much.

Rhiannan Harris
Me to, man
But i prefer if its raining.
It works because you hear everyone is busy, and getting things done, so you stop thinking about things you need to do and just get to it
Same LOL. I'm from the countryside but this helps me study bGl.
Hmm
Perfect for writing. I use this to write in busy city scenarios. Thank you so much for posting this!!
thats smart
@@SNTMLI Thanks! And yeah it is. That's why I'm grateful for people who post ambience like this. 😊

This reminds me of Lima too!
Thanks i sleeped so well listening to this
Ahh best thing for tricking someone to think I’m out lol
I like that sound of the big city. I like big city stuff too. With horns honking and people chattering I like alot.
Thanks a lot
I just played this out loud and sent a voice message to my friend pretending i was on the street and couldn't answer her call lol
Why am I listening to this? I can just open my window and hear this all day naturally.
Great city sounds!👍
Thank You!!
This is great, cant stop falling asleep to this!
Born near a city myself. I'm sure most of us here on this video have too.
it looks like bangkok, but ive lived in Silom, Bangkok for 1 year... Thai's very rarely use their horns. they are surprisingly tolerant drivers. unlike india or vietnam. and myanmar is quite disciplined too
In countries like Indonesia they use horns a lot but not in anger like Europe, more like a general announcement/signal due to the laid-back rules.
@Sawrattan Yup, in EU you horn = you angry to other
this is the kind of stuff that helps me sleep 🧍🏻♀️

i use this track to concentrate on my studies

i use this to fall asleep to practice being homeless... because hard times are on the horizon.
If I ever get noisy upstairs/downstairs neighbors, I will blast this with full noise on a 50x50x50 cm big speaker facing the wall directly.
This helps me fall asleep
I feel like I’m walking through a crowd in Manila on a street bridge.
i like to play this on maximum volume to mess with my parents
used this to avoid annoying phone calls for years
