I absolutely love this card and envelope….. great idea. I watch your videos all the time. I’m trying my hand at watercolor (easy) flowers. Love the nails.❤
I can't wait to make something like this. Maybe some hearts, but definitely I'm going to be making one with the flowers. I'm sure my flowers will be wonky but not by design. It'll be because I can't draw. Your nails are very cute. That was an added bonus seeing your nails. Thank you for the video.
This card is stunning! It looks like it has so much dimension but it's flat!!! You are so talented and brilliant, Kristina!! Great card/envelope set! Love the white stitching you added, too ❤
My old motorcycle helmet has those same flowers painted on it!! That custom paint job was done in the late 60's & I gave the artist free range on design & color. (I was mildly surprised he used two colors I never would have picked - pink & red since my mom would have cringed at that combination. I should have told him my favorite color was turquoise!) Who knew they would end up on your nails and Minnie's ears eventually. I haven't worn that helmet in 50+ years but I think it's still in my garage! haha Love the card and envelope, and what a great tip for the flower template.
Mail Art Month has been an absolute treat and every envelope and card were sensational. Many thanks for your time, talent and generosity. Wondering was there a reason you did not shadow the flowers on the envelope?
Hi there! Doesn’t look like you’ve joined quite yet (I don’t see the little star that would be by your name), however, after you join you’ll see a text post on my channel with the dates for February’s livestreams. :)
I'm finally getting around to look for some watercolor paper for the envelopes. What size did you start with to make this envelope? I don't want to purchase 8 1/2 x 11 if I need something bigger. Is okay to purchase a watercolor paper that is inexpensive or am I going to be sorry in the long run?
I use a thinner watercolor paper for envelopes so that it folds easier. You will need paper that is at least 9-7/8 square to make an envelope for a 5x7 card. So you will need watercolor paper that is larger than 8.5x11. Sadly the paper I used here is not longer sold. Here is an equivalent one which is larger enough and a thinner weight: amzn.to/3IgA8vv
Woooowww, i'm totally in love with this card! You are a great artist Kristina 😍😍😍
Love it, Mini Mouse would be so proud… Very well done! 🎀⚪️♥️

Thank you I'm glad I asked because somewhere in my brain I was thinking that 8 1/2 x 11 would be good. @@kwernerdesign
Can mail art month continue?
Did you buy the Minnie ears?
No, but I know someone who is there right now and she's looking for them. Crossing my fingers she finds them AND the shirt!
