But just a warning. Double-sided full color printing with binding was about $80 per book. I’m sure there are cheaper printing services out there. You might want to do some research. These guys did a great job and the print quality is superb, though. For a handy reference that I can use for years to come, I was willing to pay the price.
I looked on the website and do not see an option for ordering the printed and bound book. I'd really like to get them. Can you help? Thanks!
I really like your book format version for quicker, easier to store and less likely to get out of order or lost cards. Being color vision challenged this could be a really handy way to learn by object association. Sarah done good.
@@mrsmcphate You may have already found the info you were looking for, but just in case: I was just looking through the website and found a lot of details on how to order printed and bound book. At the top menu on the home page, click on “How it Works”. There is a very detailed explanation of what’s available and how they complete the order including printing and binding. Hope this helps!
Love the cubes. I was lucky to be gifted with a set. It is amazing how they work. Some you look at and say no way and it ends up beautiful. Can’t wait for the rest of this series.
I have been thinking about buying this for the longest time. I’d make the purchase right now if they offered the printable catalog already done and two bound books that would be best and easiest but I don’t see it on their website. I think I would get frustrated when I really wanted to color to have to go through all the flip cards but an already bound book like Christina may I buy that right away
These cubes and companions have been on my wish list for almost a year. I am getting them as a birthday gift to myself, which is this month, and I can't wait! This series of yours is perfect timing for me and I so appreciate your videos. Thanks so much for sharing!
I am an elementary art teacher and I bought the color cube for my classroom. I have the kids pick a coloring sheet and then a random card. We call it the color challenge. They can only use the color on the card to color their pictures.

I am in love with these cubes, and they have become my best friend. 😊 I like how you bound your catalogs. It definitely makes it easier to use. I have the digital versions and I was going to have them printed and spiral-bound. It would have cost me over $350 for both volumes! I just bought the cubes. I would have preferred them in a book format.

Hi Kristina, ❣ this series & so looking forward to the rest! QUESTION: I have the cubes, but luv the idea of having the PDF printed & bound. Can you tell me what type of paper & weight is was printed on? It looks like a matte photo paper in the vid - no gloss or semi-gloss as there's no reflection - but that could just be your great recording & lighting setup! Double sided printing correct? Also can you share if it was done at a national office type printer - Ex: Fed Ex, UPS ? Thanks for any info!

As per the FAQ page on printme1.com, for color printing, they use U.S. letter size 24 lb. white paper.
Thanks so much Kristina & Andrea - a bit too steep for my amount & need of use. I'll just continue to work with digital & the cards - but may put them on rings. I can understand it for yourself as it's your business - & a business expense write off [hopefully 😉]
Kristina, I’ve seen the. Cubes and the book, wondered how it all worked together. You have made this absolutely intriguing and beautiful, really like how this card turned out, plus purple is my #1 favorite color. Way to go!
The hash numbers would be great for digital art. I could plug that in to procreate and get the exact color. :)
Hi… What type of paper did you have the catalogs printed on? It looks like it might be brochure paper (slightly glossy) so the colors are so beautifully vibrant… wondering also how well it would receive sample of media on the bottom to match up… I’m so excited about this… thanks! 😊

No, the Karin Markers I used here are water-based markers. That's why they work so great with water. :)
Really pretty card, Kristina! The only thing that bothers me is some of the music notes are backwards as placed. Kinda wonder if the stamp designer meant for them to go upside-down. It's a little thing, but I was a music major in college, & just notice things like that. Anyway, I love how you incorporated the colors in that sample. I must admit, I had my doubts when you were smooshing the greens over the purples, but it turned out gorgeous! I'm sure your husband loves it. I noticed that, too! I think they are supposed to be flipped over.
This hasn’t anything to do with you or what you created which was lovely , btw.
But does any one else get frustrated because companies constantly produce music eighth notes in the wrong direction? It happens all the time, stamps, stickers …. As a pianist it kind of bugs me. Lol
I suspect I used those notes upside down. I think flipped over would be correct. In my defense, they are shown like that on the stamp set. Haha!

If you put the paper on top of the cellophane, instead of flipping the cellophane, you wouldn’t get as much on your hands.
I would have done that but I wanted to see exactly where it was being placed.
Approximately how much did it cost to print the downloads and bind them in the notebook?

I believe when you purchase the Color Companion it comes with all of them. I only needed the Copics and Polychromos, so those are the only two that I printed out. :)
I love trying different combos with the same image. And … like you …. I am trying combinations I would never consider and yet … somehow they always work. The secret is 60/30/10 x3. Some colours are just a splash (10) … others more predominant. (60)
So excited that you used these products! I have the Color Cubes and the downloaded versions of everything else. This was the motivation I needed to start working with these. Just so you know, printme1’s prices have gone up quite a bit. It was $102 to print and bind Volume 1. Couldn’t justify that since I do have the cubes, but did order the Color Companion’s for Derwent and Faber-Castell, those were $32 each. Love watching your videos, you are so talented!!
Of course, the card is fabulous. Thanks so much for the link for printing. That was going to be my exact question and I figured it was going to be god-awful expensive, but I'd REALLY like to get mine printed. I've been considering it for a while. My computer is downstairs and my craft area is upstairs.

I bought the color cubes a year ago and absolutely LOVE them. I use them for quilting inspo but they not only are useful, but so pretty as a decorative piece.

I have been looking at this for awhile. I love the book format….easier to handle. So is the only way to get the book format is to download it and print it off and bind it?
Correct. She does not sell a physical book. I suspect it’s because of the cost (as we’re all discovering when we go to print it).
