Then somewhere around 1997, a good friend of mine in school told me that he won't wish me Merry Christmas because it would recognizing my religion. What a difference 3 years made. I must add, he was a son of a PAS symphathizer at the time. I was in a camp, we stayed overnight at a dorm, at night after dinner when there was free and easy session, I sat with the Malay boys. To be honest, 1. Sijil halal jakim, is difficult to attain. Why, do i say that? A) all ingredients used for cooking, must have halal certifications or jakim certified halal. For example, all the fishes you buy must be from jakim halal certified. Fresh fish dont have a jakim halal label. We dont know, if its kept for how long before, rotting starts. If there's flood, a sudden abundant of fishes, you caught yourself, is it rezeki or non haram, but not jakim certified halal? Can malay muslim, eat fishes, they catch themselves, by fishing? Of course!! But then , are these fishes halal certified by jakim? Who would bring a fish to test, at jakim, before eating it, even though caught it , himself. Funny? Islam is easy. Allah subahanawataala did not give prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, Al Quran to make life difficult for Muslim. B) we should not forget, all the meat, sold in jb, with jakim halal stamps/logo but weren't really halal certified. Jakim was brought to question. How halal is jakim certified halal? C) Consuming food and getting food borne illness , at a certified jakim halal, food establishment is a norm. I worked in 5 star hotels for 18 years, we know when jakim is visiting. We know how to hide expired food. Most hotels served alcohol drinks, therefore most hotel does not have jakim halal certificate. But that doesnt mean, the raw ingredients are non halal. Hotels purchases , all ingredients with halal certification from reputable suppliers ...except for its non halal restaurant located in its own building. Now, how halal , can halal be? D) For me, i dont eat at restaurants which i see, not clean, or food , prepared unhygienic. Its not halal, whether its certified or not. E) small mamak stall, roti canai stall, nasi lemak stall, ramli burger stall, small food courts, how can they afford to obtain halal certification? There are documentation of each and every menu item. Every dish, for nasi padang, buffet , has a shelf life. Must be thrown away after every two hours. Can that be practised? Hotels , we practiced this standard. Can small entrepreneur do this? Halal is for Muslims. Following the requirements of al Quran and Hadith and sunnah of rasuallah pbuh. We ourselves, have to evaluate each establishment, of its food quality and cleanliness, based on our intelligent and our deen.
Thank you for this incredibly detailed comment. I learned a lot from you and also from the experiences that you shared along the way. Thank you for going into the nuances and also the ways that people can actually avoid dealing with all of the intricacies of maintaining qualification as well as its imperfections as well. Really appreciate your taking the time to write all of that there and to share your thoughts. It's definitely going to be hard to maintain a certification like that, but at the same time, it's also true that at the end of the day, it's between you and, well, your God as well, in order to make sure that you can be compliant. At the end of the day, it's a matter of your own conscience, which is how it always had to be, and it was never a matter of any certification along the way. It's your own personal decision and judgment, and no regulation is going to stop that from being the case, even if it can offer you more certainty!

Between the Halal and Haram, there is a fine line called Ambiguity. Why not the Muslim follow what the prophet Muhammad saw said, "Avoid it as far as possible". You can respect others but you don't need to please them in as far as to sacrifice your stand as the believers. Eat at those places only when you are in real distress, sparingly not lavishly. Is that really difficult to follow. No people in authority can force against your principles and beliefs. Politics is the worst form of pollutions in the world. Everyone is accountable for their own decisions in this life. You don't have to idolize and follow leaders.

Here's where KJ came in with a very smart take and said that IF there were ever a mandatory sijil halal regime, all restaurants around Malaysia need to have sijil halal and there is no exception to be made, even if Muslim-owned under any circumstances. Halal certificate is kind of like HACCP and Malaysia's is stringent because it ensures halal at every single stage of the production process. At least that's what I understand. You cannot just say that people should have an exception made just because the people preparing food are Muslim and anybody who attempts to suggest that should have their opinion disregarded and potentially sent in for questioning for even trying to make that suggestion and facilitating discrimination against people of other races and religions IMO.
@@VictorTan .... mandatory sijil halal would bankrupt a lot of restaurants/eateries. the sijil itself is not expensive but the process to get one could be more than 10k. extra costs for record keeping too.

Jews in USA visit chinese restaurants every Holiday season- and they do not eat pork too, but no problems eating at chinese restaurants just they dont order pork food.
This Pemuda PAS' statement that it is WAJIB to prevent people from eating at places having no Halal certification is a haram act in itself. He made a hukum or a ruling of syariah out of his own whim. Could be due to his jahil or the effect of embracing the wrong religion i.e. PAS (parti ajaran sesat). It is prohibited/haram to say something which is not prohibited as haram. Doesn't he realize manyyyy malay warung & gerai do not have Halal certs? If ever he wants to confidently conclude something is haram, it is not the cert that determines it, instead, he needs to prove the haram-ness of what he claims haram.
@brightasterstar Kalau Rayyan tu tak hentam & campur fakta tipu, parti mana pun orang tak hentam. Dan kalau dia tak beragama PAS, dia pun tak buat video khas macam masa orang PAS makan di kedai tu. Jadi, faham lah kan motivasi agama mereka?

Kata tak berpihak mana² tapi ayat boleh dibau terpalit najis politik gobrok. Jangan campurkan hukum Islam dgn nafsu politikus berwayangkan Islam.
Stop playing victim and talking rubbish about how Muslim shops have no need for halal certificates and understand clearly that as you say this you will create the circumstances for people to hate you and clearly target and attack you intentionally with the very very clear intention of destroying you. 😊 If you want to yap about halal certificates best ensure very clearly that you either display that you are fair to people or you stop yapping about ‘political sycophants’ because frankly, your words lack any meaningful form of value. I already saw you try to defend fitnah from Rayyan Wong. Should I let you in any way spread your fitnah further? Because I won’t be doing that. I would rather casually silence you rather than listen to you yap and act like you want to be ‘inclusive’. You are not being inclusive. You are being a pretentious sycophant that expects people to follow along when anyone can see through you. There will be no support of you unless you learn your place in this world and understand the fairness you are expected to understand. Until this happens, expect that the world will step on your ideals repeatedly and if you never insaf, you will keep on being stepped on. 😊

@@VictorTan ...yes, the restaurant has no sijil halal. at the same time the foods prepared cannot be considered haram just because they were prepared by non-muslim. as long as the foods were properly and hygenically prepared, they are not haram since no halal certs required for fishes and herbs. as for the chicken, they bought it from supplier with a sijil halal. in the end it is up to the individual to eat or not to eat there but can't simply declared it halal or haram.

Restoran Jadi Baru Botak.. bukan Botak Baru Jadi..🤣🤣🤣
Someeeeething like that 😭
Want to be a hero... now get it but if not lucky may land up in jail...
@brightasterstar Lagi satu, kenyataan "memang perlu minta sijil halal dari JAKIM" pakai undang² mana? Auta je kan? Setakat ini, pensijilan halal hanya voluntary, bukan mandatory.
If you want to yap about halal certificates best ensure very clearly that you either display that you are fair to people or you stop yapping about ‘political sycophants’ because frankly, your words lack any meaningful form of value.
@@brightasterstar Saya akan padamkan komen engkau sekiranya awak tak tunjukkan yang kau faham bahawa tiada sijil halal tak bermaksud tak halal 😊
@ Deleted for failing to say kedai Muslim pun kena ambik sijil halal, and permanently banned from commenting for yapping while trying to defend Muslim shops and saying that they don’t need to get sijil halal 😊
Laman web halal JAKIM tak penipu.
Mantap Rayyan
Oh, jadi camne nak jelaskan apa yang dikatakan selepas tu?
“Rupanya ada sijil halal” kononnya 🤭
When u started ur video by accusing Rayyan as penunggang agama, u already lost me...
It’s ok!
I don’t particularly care about your opinion. Understand clearly that it’s not about your opinion alone, and if you’re immature enough to click off and then choose to express your opinion in the hope that people won’t watch the video to the end because you deeply disagree with the direction it will take society if people begin to realize what is happening in a critical mass, then that’s your own problem.
What was he actually trying to say?
You’ll only find out if you watch the video and you only have yourself to blame for being one of the ones who failed to understand the message. 🤭
It better you watch PAS and stay there
Merry Halal Christmas ya'll.
LOLLLL I know you’re joking, but I appreciate it! Merry halal Christmas to you too Azizi! 🤩
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year bro.

Shame on you, Rayyan Wong!
Pandai dah cukup, jangan pandai-pandai!
DID HE STOLE YOUR OLD GIRL FRIEND YOU PICK ON HIM.HE LOOKS ANGELIC.😂😂😂😂
Oh I pick on him because if people don’t show both the Malays as well as the rest of Malaysia about him, he will take control of the narrative and subvert the country by lying 😭

I will block you from this page if you insist that this is not related to Malaysia and gladly save your name for PDRM if you keep on suggesting that Malaysians should not care about those who attempt to insult royalty and our rulers of Malaysia and you will be able to say nothing while trying to manipulate your religion and that of the people who share your religion while pretending that you are doing it solely for the faith. 😊
ni bukan isu agama, bro. fitnah, perspsi dan naratif jahat tu agama islam ke? sebelum ni ramai jer orang melayu islam makan kat situ kenapa tak highlight? pmx dan ydpa adalah melayu islam yang pertama makan kat situ?
vice versa🤣🐖💨
Blabbering
Rayyan and his supporters? Yep 😔
The first fitnah where he lied to us about restaurant being ‘disahkan tak halal’ was bad enough. Then now ‘rupanya dia ada sijil halal’? 😂😂😂
Dey, who is lying? Rayyan Wong or JAKIM? 🤭
How’s your hero doing? Is he still your hero? 😊
He is not telling lie. The thing is, he knows how to manipulate the facts to popularized himself. be careful of this kind of munafiq.
Oh is it? So then the restaurant is actually halal?
If yes, then why’s it halal or acceptable for consumption for all races?
@@VictorTan ...yes, the restaurant has no sijil halal. at the same time the foods prepared cannot be considered haram just because they were prepared by non-muslim. as long as the foods were properly and hygenically prepared, they are not haram since no halal certs required for fishes and herbs. as for the chicken, they bought it from supplier with a sijil halal. in the end it is up to the individual to eat or not to eat there but can't simply declared it halal or haram.
Rayyan knows how to manipulate facts to gain popularity. Just ignore his cheap popularity. in islam, making a cheap popularity statement is not considered as sin as long as he is not telling liar. It is his modus operanty to makes the others looks bad. Be mindful..
@@Xyyymm Thank you! 🤩
