Ann Rule wrote in her book "The Stranger Beside Me" that Ted Bundy was a nice guy who worked beside her as a telephone counselor in Seattle. She was floored when she realized that it was THAT Ted the police were looking for. It just goes to show that you really don't know someone like you think you do. 🤷🏼‍♀️

As to the victims he chose : these were 3 very attractive, fun- loving , happy young women who fit into society. They might have represented the women who would not have been interested in him, perhaps even the girls who had bullied him in elementary school. I agree… I believe the young man murdered was just “in the wrong place at the wrong time”. These young women are beautiful and it does make sense that he could have had a deep resentment against women in general as he has been rejected numerous times and “bullied”. It seems random and not random at the same time. Usually it’s a psychotic ex or something as a stabbing is obviously VERY personal. In this case I believe these were innocent women targeted just because of what they represented to him… like a perfect storm came together inside him. My ❤ goes out to all the victims and their loved ones.

The burden of proof in the legal system is on the prosecution, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the general public viewing someone as guilty when evidence overwhelmingly points to it. His DNA was on the knife sheath and CCTV footage caught him in the area at the time, apparently almost returning to the scene when he realized he left the knife sheath. Of course, it's good to be open to the remote chance that he's been framed, but that seems very unlikely.

I had this theory at first myself but as some evidence has come out I no longer believe this. He made far to many mistakes for someone with his knowledge if he were just trying to see if he could do it for that reason. First and foremost,.leaving behind the knife sheath. Even if there had been no DNA on it to trace it is solid evidence that could possibly be traced to manufacturers, selling companies, and purchaser if credit or bank card used. Secondly, having his cell phone with him up to 12 times as he was in the area of the murder scene and while he turned it off on the specific hours during the crime he returned afterward with his phone on as he drove passed the crime scene. He would have been smart enough (you would think) to not have his phone with him any time he was near that house. Not just turned off during the commission of the crime. Another mistake is traveling there in his own vehicle. To many mistakes for someone with his knowledge. That puzzles me. Maybe his hate and rage took over his thought process. I'm sure the police have more evidence, I just wonder if they have any idea of motive.

When I was in high school there was a guy at my friend table who I ate lunch with every day. He was very clean cut, quiet and kind. Several years later I saw him in the news that he killed his three young daughters to get revenge on his ex wife. I could NOT believe it was the same person. You never know people or what may drive them to this, or maybe he snapped, who knows-I just can’t believe it, I’d have never imagined he’s grow up to do that.

Re the neighbor who said that after the murders BK asked if he had heard about it and said that it “seems there are no leads” and that it “seems it was a crime of passion”, this is what MANY ppl were saying! Officials and reporters and guests and everywhere online and in everyday conversations! To suggest that this is incriminating is really stretching it, and in fact, it’s helping to foster a mob mentality that wants to burn BK at the stake without knowing all the facts and without him being found guilty. Pretty disappointed in LCN.

I read so many comments regarding the “massive amount of evidence”, which is simply not true. Do these people CARE about such facts? Apparently not.

But even the people who knew him or met him at some point, even the people who describe him as a nice guy, they've all also said something like "he was odd" or different, or quiet, or a loner, or just something seemed off with him. Another thing I've heard most all say was that he was intelligent and wanted everyone to know he was. If we go back to the Tapatalk postings, he'd been having mental problems as early back as 15-16 years old, he stated Sept 21, 2009. Him recalling that specific date, and not just a month or year, makes me believe that he may have experienced something traumatic on that date or in the couple days leading up to that date...and event that caused him a LOT of fear and anxiety, that sent him into that dark place. Now, do not get me wrong...there are NO excuses for what he did and he has to pay the price if he's guilty, but I do always wish to understand causes or what lead up to something so horrific.

My ex was extremely abusive, but he managed to fool most people around him/us. For the most part anyone that knew him socially thought he was amazing and just a super funny person. He was always happy and joking with them and went out of his way to be nice and helpful. These people may have considered him 'friends' but to me I considered them associates. However our friends or those much closer to us/him knew his true colours. It was impossible for him to keep up his facade the whole time. I mean I fell for it at the beginning, even living with him being with him 24/7, it took me months nearly years to realise just how bad he was, I think he tried harder to hide it from me. Of course there is only so long someone can hide their dark side, and it's so complex to know the intentions of whether some people have any control over these emotions or not. I really think it's a mental illness and it absolutely ruins peoples lives

It’s mostly likely not going to happen but can you imagine if for some reason he proves his innocence. No matter what in the public opinion he is done . And before anyone starts with the whole he is guilty and blah blah I’m NOT saying he is innocent I’m NOT saying he is guilty . I’m just saying wait till legal stuff plays out and until then the media shouldn’t give attention to people who in reality can’t say they know him .

As self conscious as he was, I highly doubt he was oblivious to how his noise could affect them. No, I think he made the deliberate choice to do these things. All of the speculation is actually pretty sad when we don't really know anything for sure. I want to know if he had a roommate or friend that had access to his car, and did he regularly leave his cell phone in his car? Those answers would either box him in or free him up some, except no one ever talks about that kind of actual evidence. Only speculation.
