Could you please do a video on how to add a deck on top of a flat roof, if you ever do that sort of thing? I'm planning a build of a secondary detached garage and was thinking about leaving the roof flat so I could install an upper deck. A place I can drink a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise in the morning.

Great job looks like most of the problem with the sagging is the aluminum post too bad they don't make some way you could tie it back to the other one

I had a feeling comments would flood in about the hinge location. It's tricky to get simple hinges correct unless the bracket is slotted. So if not slotted then moving the screws will be hard to get accurate. I bet there are more expensive hinges that have self leveling adjustments. Sorta like the hinges on my kitchen cabinet doors which your very familiar with. That would be my first upgrade and would make a good video as you can show the difference from low grade to top grade fence hinges.

The fence looks good, but you should really fix the sagging on the doors. Attention to detail is key.

Thanks! Yeah, if it becomes an issue, I’m going to add tensioner as mentioned in the video. The door will be used rarely so I’m not too concerned at the moment. Good luck with your projects!

I like your work but lifting the gate in order to open would make it difficult for me to cut a check for this installation. I'm unsure why this problem exists. A turnbuckle on the inside of the gate would be better option than the sag and constant lifting in order to close.

The fence and gate are very nice, indeed. This is my first helpful hint to you. You likely already know, but the top and/or bottom hinges should be re-positioned in or out to accomplish proper closing. If durable enough, they should not allow sagging with time. Then, the latch will not have stress on it when closing/opening.
