We were on the Mardi Gras last month but even though it was only 4800/5100 passengers on our two weeks, we found it a bit crowded. Couldn’t imagine what it will be like at capacity. Love the Pride class due to the size, easy to get around and decor. :-)
We just got home from our Mardi Gras cruise. 5,900 passengers and 1,700 crew. It was a little too crowded for us but the teens sure loved it. BTW, ours is a new channel so your subscription is really appreciated. Happy sailing.
Honestly love "The Pride" the ship was just the right size not to Small not to Big. It was very comfortable and easy to manage to get to each venue. The MDR and all the staff were the best. As my first solo cruise I was very comfortable!

We have sailed on both the Legend (about 10 times) and the Miracle (twice) and we are booked to sail on the Pride for the first time in early 2023. We MUCH prefer the Spirit class to the larger and newer Carnival ships. We just recently sailed on the Mardi Gras and, although it was nice, there was very little outdoor space that wasn't committed to a specific purpose. We really enjoy both the lower and the upper promenades on the Spirit ships and feel that the attentiveness of the staff is better on the smaller vessels. Basically, if you want a floating resort, book big, if you want more of an "at sea" experience, I would recommend booking smaller ships.
Excellent Video, I was on the Pride on November 2021 and again for its 2021 New Years Eve Cruise. And I really, really enjoyed it, the crew was awesome and the entertainment was awesome, I don’t know if Native Bear Kasmir Strings and Guitar sounds with Rob were still there but I spent many hours enjoying their music. Having recently been on the Mardi Gras for it’s Sailabration 50th birthday cruise, And while I enjoyed it immensely, I did miss the interaction with the Crew, when I was on the Pride I developed a great friendship with the bartenders at the Atrium Bar, Catherine, Edwin, and Octavious (don’t know if they were still on or not) also being a smaller ship I got to know quite a few of the passengers quite well. I highly recommend the Pride and will be sailing on her again sometime later this year.

My wife and I both prefer the smaller ships and coincidentally the Pride was our first ship we sailed on her out of Baltimore a couple times. We sailed on her again out of Tampa this past September. One of our favorites.

We have sailed the pride 5 times from Baltimore. Our favorite place is the 3rd deck front of the ship where we like to sit and play cards while we look out at the sea. We also enjoy the 2 pools on the Lido deck.

I love the Pride. Although I've sailed on many Carnival ships the Pride remains one of my favorites. I've sailed on the Pride close to 20 times. It no longer sails out of Baltimore which is where I use to catch it but it is replaced with the Legend which is the same class at least. Still not the Pride though. I'll miss her. So far I sailed on the Spirit the Pride and the Horizon I didn't like the promenade on Horizon felt cold and small to me
