Praise God! We have faith that we will prevail. Stay strong my sister. I'm having the same problem and sometimes (liquid Draino that's what my nurse calls it) doesn't work. Next time you have your port flushed get up out of the chair, act like you're in gym class and bend your body over and touch your toes, do fake jumping jacks, twist your body from left to right about now 4 to 5 times, then cough really hard from your gut at least 5 times....And that's how us Divas get our ports to cooperate . I know it sounds cooky, but it works for me. Even pushing your infusion chair all the way back like lying down can work if all else fails. You are in my prayers 💙

Good to hear from you and glad you are doing ok ❤️ I think we are all wishing for a visit to the hairdressers - here in the uk, hairdressers can’t open until 4 July at the earliest 😱😱😱. Hello Shannon, glad to see you. I hope you and your family are good. I am tired of this pandemic... I miss my parents. But good news: my dads chemo worked. The liver mets got smaller and guess what: he is in the hospital now. Tomorrow is his liver surgery. I am a little worried but it will be fine. It is one step. The other one is hopefully in 6 week when the tumor gets out. And luckily we dont have that many corona cases here. Bye bye!
Miliko207 Please keep me posted on your father. I’m sending prayers and good vibes your way. Remind him the pain gets less and less everyday and if it doesn’t tell the nurse and doctor and get a different prescription. Cancer is hard enough to fight, so if you can get rid of the surgery pain do it!!
@@shannonwarr3625 Hey Shannon, thank you a lot! The liver surgery was really hard on him. Because of his MS the doctors agreed to do general anesthesia, he lost some blood and has anemia which they are treating with iron tablets now. He can only sit in his bed. Yesterday was a really hard day for him. He was homesick because of covid no one can visit him, he was so good before the surgery and now he has to start at 0. He was really depressive and thinking why he is going through it and just let it end. It was not easy at all because a liver surgery is so different from a hip joint replacement or removal of a gall bladder. I can help with homesickness but not the rest... He had a bad night, headache, night sweats. He is still exhausted probably also because of the anemia. But the surgery went like expected: the metastases are out! So his suffering is not for nothing! He doesnt feel pain now and his intestines are getting back to normal. But it will be a very long way and I hope and pray that the positivity takes over and he feels better and better. Baby steps ;)
