- This incredible McLaren P1 is the only P1 to be originally delivered from the factory with a fully exposed carbon fiber body. It was recently sold by Broad Arrow Auctions during their 2023 Amelia Island sale for over $2.4 million setting a record price paid for a McLaren P1.
The P1 was part of the Hypercar Holy Trinity of the early 2010s that ushered in a new era of performance vehicles for the street and cemented the P1 as a historic hypercar alongside the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.

If i remember correctly, there are 5 p1's in the world have been specced out from factory with visible carbon fibre body and they're called the 'carbon series'

Most of them went back to the factory to have their body's replaced/refinished in exposed carbon.

glossy carbon looks good but matte black carbon is on a whole other level, its my favorite car ever
Many Koshbin's P1 was originaly white, then M.S.O removed all the original pannels and changed them with carbon fiber ones.
It is also one of the best P1 ever especially with its white interior

To be fair, the early 2000s won’t end until like 2399. Early 2000s (2000-2399), Mid 2000s (2400-2699), Late 2000s (2700-2999). Then it’s on to the 3000s.

We just sold one of the only speedtails in the states and that thing was a trip to drive. Of all the McLarens I think the Senna is my favorite. It’s 100% a race car. The sound it makes on a cold start, how it feels in the corners. You shouldn’t be able to accelerate going into a corner it doesn’t feel right but it’s an incredible car. The closest I’ll ever come to owning one is my turbo s2000 but hey it still a cool track car

Manny Khoshbin's P1 was originally white because they didn't offer carbon at the time when he specced his. But when they did offer it, he shipped it back to McLaren to get the matte carbon fiber. By the his one is the only matte carbon finish.

so did a lot of carbon P1s but there are only 5 true carbon P1s originally made by mclaren

This was my most favourite car when it was released. The design is exquisite, the shape is fluid and impeccable, and the rear is phenomenal with that giant exhaust. It only got superseded by the Shelby GT500 2020 and the 720S.
I just realized the headlights are the shape of the Mclaren logo

My oh my these cars are just stunning. Mind-numbing performance too. From the same company that gave the world the F1 too! McClarens are gorgeous super cars!

Also, with all the cars today I don’t like the 0-60 Stat or the 0-100. Everything is so close now in that category with the UGR GTR’s and Huracan’s. The Tesla has a fast acceleration. The thing that sets the P1 and the Senna and the Speedtail apart from most anything else is the 100-230 time. How effortless it feels and how fast it gets to top speed thanks to boost by gear and torque vectoring, that’s much more impressive. People don’t realize how hard it is to reach 200mph in a car. Not just that but how long it actually takes to get there. Take a c6 Z06 for instance. Getting up to 180mph takes no time at all, but that 180-200, just 20 more mph is a struggle and takes a minute. If you guys can, I urge you to plan a track day where they let you ride in the senna. Feel what I’m talking about in how fast you hit 200+mph. I can talk about it all day but it don’t mean a damn thing until you actually feel it.
I saw a carbon fiber/unpainted P1 at the Peterson Auto Museum. As with so many of things, they are so much cooler in person. The car was amazing.

I like how in super cars they charge way way more for way less. Most of the time if you want exposed carbon despite you choosing no paint which means less stuff they have to do they cuarge you an extra 10-50k depending on the car maybe more
