- Amy Spalding, beloved for her humour and iconic boots, brought some much-needed femme-for-femme representation to BBC Three's I Kissed A Girl.
Often referred to as the “people's lesbian princess”, it’s fair to say she was a fan favourite.
In this episode, Ben Branson explores why Amy was often told she was “too much.” Amy and Ben share an ADHD chatter on diagnosis, struggles with time-blindness, and the journey to embracing her queer identity. She also shares her experiences in the Masseria and running her successful new jewellery brand through an ADHD lens.

21:37 thank you amy for reminding me to take my meds
i’m a lesbian and i have adhd it was so great seeing amy on i kissed a girl, seeing someone who feels/acts similarly to me on tv was so cool to see and really validating
Same here! I'm also a lesbian with ADHD and I loved watching her on I Kissed a Girl ❤️
What a beautiful talk, the world needs all these conversations!
As a fellow neurodivergent queer (autism + anxiety), I appreciate Amy's vulnerability in this episode. I'd love to watch her speak more about her experiences as a neurodivergent queer person in the future.
Amazing episode. I also learned a lot as well. New vocabulary that I had no idea about. ❤️❤️
Amazing! Thank you ✨
I love this episode so much. Amy is just a delight.
I will say that all lesbian relationships are underrepresented not just femme for femme and masc for masc.
There aren’t many butch/masc and femme relationships in media too.
