Thanks for addressing this topic. I hope you explore this a little more, perhaps with input from more “real world weekend warriors”. If I understand what you said. The AI will eventually be able to analyze outside efforts and incorporate that analysis into an existing plan?

That's right! 'Levels V2' will account for all unstructured rides and workouts within Adaptive Training, and will result in Progression Level changes AND potential adaptations! Its our developers highest priority, on the way!

@@TrainerRoad So getting ahead of this next iteration and if I were to follow Jonathon's suggestion and do my normal rides then use the "train now" feature to supplement my rides, would they be determined based on AI to come up with what is best suited to me? Or is it only going to assess within a structured training plan?
I think I fall into that group of folks who designed a low intensity, 3 time a week, plan but ride with my friends 2-3 days a week so actually have a pretty heavy training load overall. In the spring summer and even most of the fall I will chose to ride the trails and throw in the occasional road ride over the trainer.
Again, excited to see where it goes.

Good question, and that totally depends upon the nature of those group rides with friends, and if it makes more sense to associate them with either your workout or endurance days, or to treat them differently. This will take a critical look on your part of looking at what those unstructured rides look like, and if they align with any weekly workouts in Plan Builder. Sorry for the work it causes, but we're working as hard as we can go get this feature out for athletes like you and take care of that issue! Thanks for your patience. :)

Well I'm into my fifth week back in the gym, I am working out my legs on a seated leg press at
    285 lbs x 22 reps,
    330 lbs x 18 reps.
    385 lbs x 12 reps
Then I am stepping into dead seated leg press
    560 lbs x 12 reps
    660 lbs x 12 reps
    Pushed a max of 840 x 6 reps
I only repeat the dead seated leg press every third and fifth week.
    Any suggestions ?

No time to watch this but my problem is the opposite..adding fun/down time rides into a structured training programme!

No problem! Some options are to decrease your plan volume and add in longer/fun rides on your days without workouts, or simply incorporate your efforts into the longer training days if the terrain allows for it. Having fun is crucial!
