👍🏾 I agree! Secondly, how can we afford to help anyone else when our people and our community need help the most? When they come to us asking us to support them, we just need to let them know we are too busy helping us FIRST before anyone else! ✊🏾

I definitely want a copy of this painting. I’m a big supporter and protector of my sisters. Kamala Harris and the black women in this country was betrayed, disrespected, and ignored for many years. It’s hurtful. It’s no more high road for me. My daughters and I voted for Kamala and they cried their eyes out. That’s enough . I’m sick of how bad black women are treated. #nomorehighroad

So happy to see that this was created by a brother!!
I read where some man felt left out.
"Black" women have historically gathered in this manner (and still do) with the men not too far off in the distance.
    Great piece of art!!

    • @nwood5670

@nwood5670 women might gather in the kitchen and men in the livingroom to talk shop.
So while we are sitting on the rooftop, brothers are not forgotten, they just might be sitting in another room.
Hope that makes sense. Better yet, the artist gives the best explanation as to why he chose to use images of women and not men or both. Peace & blessings!
