This is so fun to watch while I’m working on your zip it pattern test.
@@emilydana5021 aww yay I'm so glad!! It's like a 4th wall break 😂😂
Also, I love your cardigans and sweaters. Re:the checkerboard pattern, what technique do you use? Tapestry crochet? I'm curious because that would make sense so that you don't have a million ends to weave in. I've never done a checkerboard pattern before and I couldn't imagine weaving in ends for each square. Also are you planning to create crochet tutorials for your patterns? I have yet to make a cardigan. I want to, but it feels very intimidating.
@helenrivera1686 thanks so much, that's very kind of you! No video tutorial for this cardigan I'm afraid! It takes a lot of work and effort to design and write crochet patterns and sometimes I want to be paid for my work 😅🫶🏽 I'd definitely say this is a beginner friendly pattern, I offer lots of photos and video guides in the pattern in case you're more of a visual learner 🥰
I'm curious about pattern testers, besides making the item, these testers give feedback on your pattern? Things to change, clarify? I'd love to know more about what it takes to become a pattern tester. ❤
@helenrivera1686 yes, exactly that! Any spelling errors, parts of the pattern that don't make sense/are incorrect. Maybe changing the wording, whether photos/videos are helpful or a hindrance. It also helps from an accessibility standpoint as I'm ND, but all of our brains work differently!
Love the cardigan so pretty...Dp you or will you have a video tutorial for it? I do much better with a video
@DwonaHill thanks so much! No, unfortunately not, there's no way for me to monetise a video tutorial and designing/writing patterns is a lot of work! The pattern is very beginner friendly though and I include several photos and videos throughout 🥰
