Welt respected Kevin, even though Kevin would eventually fall because his plan was not perfect, he was indeed NEVER a failure because he inspired Kiana while he gave her the torch of Kaslana.

I teared up soooo soooooo hard during this scene, that bgm surely haunted me, even now as I typing this I'm still teared up, Kevin's plan might not be the brightest, he's not perfect, but he tried his best to hold up till he can make sure people surpassed him, and yeah he's never a failure, the only failure I get that is how in the world he doesn't have cameos, both in other games such as genshin nor honkai star rail now, I meant even luocha already came >_> as well as welt, I do hope that he also came, I love him so bad too bad we can't make him permanent playable in h13rd T_____T

Kevin looks oddly similar to Caelus. He might be the one known as "Frebass" whom Acheron travelled with in the Nihility.
Which is why Acheron mentions that he looks oddly similar to an old friend of hers.

we can't blame kevin and otto because the purpose make them a villian with a great purpose that causing us to thinking that they are not bad guy at all
Kevin was so powerful so I'm wondering how Acheron killed him alone. Was he not in his Mantis State? What form or powers was he using? It took Finality Kiana, Origin Mei, and Truth Broyna all in their most powerful forms working together to take him down. Hope it explains more into it eventually because I dont see how HOT Acheron like shown in the trailer took Kevin down but at the same time her hair became white in the trailer so idk if that was her becoming the Emanator at that moment to get the power boost she needed. I'm not that far into HSR yet so I'm not sure if it was explained already how she killed him.
The Kevin Archeron was talking about might not be the same kind of person as the one in Hi3. For all we know, the one she managed to defeat was just a wielder of the other blade she used and nothing else.
Kevin didn't fail nor was he a failure, PE fallen as it was a tragedy that was going to come for them. He succeeded in what MOTH, Dr. MEI, wanted, a way to end the threat of Honkai without needing to realize STIGMA.
I’m so glad you made this. Acheron lost her Kevin. She became Origin and he became Finality and she had to kill him, to save her world, and it was all for naught because her world was doomed to be destroyed by a black hole anyways.

Welt was talking about Kevin, the man who lives too long, trying to find a place to die in peace.
To do a quick summary, he was an ordinary human who was forced into a role of hero and villain. He lost the final battle of his era, and humanity was reset. And most people he knows has passed away, leaving him with a duty to protect the next humanity. After living for so long 50k years old, he is longing for peace and death. But bound by duty he forced one of the 2 plans to happen to make sure the next humanity would not fail again. Plan A: he forced and breed a new generation of human who can survive with/against the "Monsters", in the process 90% of humanity WILL die. Plan B) He forces the heroes of the story to become stronger, and by defeating him(the strongest human on that planet). They will become better and able to protect the world.
Hence the "Why do birds fly?" or the "Icarus flied too close to the sun" comments. So one can inspires other to do better, and hoping one day, someone will reach the sun without getting his wings burn.
At the end plan B was successful, "she" become the one who have the power save the world. And he pass away in peace, knowing that humanity will continue. In return, Acheron replies with what if all the persons see is blackhole.
I'm pretty sure you will find detail able Kevin Kaslana or project sigma on TH-cam somewhere for better detail.

Kevin started the Project stigma bc after the 13 Herrchers had appeared.. Finality was about to appear.
He waited tens of thousands of years for Project Embers.
A project mind you.. That has no plans.. Meaning you arnt able to know if it will work or not.
And if he hadn't started project stigma..
Finality would have descended and the world would be destroyed..
And... Origin's release of fate would be grasped by Finality again.
And.... From acheron you can see how important Elysia's existence was..
And so was Kiana's.
Kiana existence was purely bc of Elysia.
Cuz if.. Not bc of Elysia..
She would be Sirin.
And the Original Kiana would be the kiana of that world.
Meaning they only had one chance..
And Kevin started project stigma.. Bc.. They wernt strong enough to defeat finality.. Meaning that project Embers had basically Failed..
But he still hoped that it would Succeed.. And he gave project Embers time untill Stigma succeeded for project Embers..
Like.. Ya really think that he couldnt have killed all the main cast in the begining if he want to?
Everyone from The 13 Flamechasers know.. Project stigma was the Sure way to defeat Honkai..
But everyone including Mobius and Mei who devised project Stigma...
Also hoped for Project Embers to succeed the most.

In the grand scheme of things, especially if you take a good read of the techno-babble, what he did was essential to defeat the undefeatable Honkai; even if it would led to the genocide of millions of people in the process. Everything he did was pragmatic, driven with only the goal of defeating the Honkai and nothing else.

What I still not understand is why welt didn't want to share any info about the his world and honkai thing also I still not understand connection between aeon and imaginary tree. As I know from GGZ and HI3 (ingame lore I didnt like use fans wiki or other like that) Honkai is part of imaginary tree but aeon is what???? and in the star rail they tech is already advance but why honkai didnt attack star rail world as test....... 🤔
@@dark_shinryu Aeon are being similar to the one that send out Honkai to test humanity and the same as the Captain from Captainverse
and the test are brought down in cycle by a higher being usually in a 50k years loop, you could say Nanook is the higher being that bring Honkai in HSR with his army though to a wackier extend
as for why Welt didn't share any info it is most likely just him wanting to do everything by himself, most people on the train do have their secret and hidden info after all like with Dan Heng originally

For aeon information where I can get that in game lore. Sorry this is my primary reason to play Star rail and because of that I didn't trust any source other than in game information or officially site and manga.
