This is a very important but sensitive topic that requires longer time than 15 minutes to uncover. But the final words of Dr. Damina the great, set an introductory foundation for it.
    Great Job, journalist sir (Paul-Adom).

I love how Mr Adom Is asking his questions, Dr Damina sometimes try to deviate from the questions, he should just accept it that, sometimes such things do happen just that some prophets abuse it. Nice interview

I like the way you're holding his feet to the fire😂...God can and will always talk to people and that can and will always influence outcomes. God may not have a favorite but a man can make God his favorite. Prayer doesn't replace hardwork, diligence and excellence but rather gives direction to those. See all those as speed and prayer as direction.

Honestly, I understand Damina’s point of view but that’s not what the scriptures say.
Daniel 4:17 “…..God rules in the affairs of men and he bestows it on whoever he desires…..

      1. What you have quoted are the words of King Nebuchadnezzar rather than God Himself. 2. The King was not referring to the choices or outcomes of man as was the center of this interview but who to reveal the meaning of the dream to. Context is very important here.

This is just the summary of what Dr Damina is trying to say, but Adom, in his usual unprofessional pattern of asking questions and never allowing for the speaker to respond before his interrupting follow up questions, keeps messing up the entire interview. Shame on you Adom

    1. Proverbs 16:33
The lot is cast into the lap, but every decision is from the LORD.
    2. David was chosen by God and anointed 3 times before he became King of Israel, but he committed a detestable sin by killing Uriah so that he may cover up his iniquity.

In interpreting Dan 4:17, we need to know the difference between classical and apocalyptic prophecies in the Bible. Classical prophecies in the Bible deal with nations mainly ancient Israel and their relationship with surrounding nations. Apocalyptic prophecies focus on how God steers the world towards its end according to His plan and design and eventual triumph in the cosmic battle between good and evil. Having made this important distinction, the book of Daniel is mainly an apocalyptic prophecy containing prophecies that transcends various earthly powers up to the end of the world. It's in that context that "God rules in the affairs of men" Dan 4:17 is made. It's not about winning elections or football matches. It means whatever man's choices are, God is able to work around and steer them towards His grand plan for the universe and occasionally intervenes to limit man beyond his powers. All of these work within the framework of God's mission for mankind, which is salvation. Nothing is outside that. That's why frequently predicting elections and football matches are from magic, sorcery or tricks, not from God.

    Abel Damina got this wrong.
When Jesus said, 'your kingdom come', it means God's realm (rulership) should take over this physical realm.
That is not to say that God will superimpose people on us.
When we pray, he answers for his will to be done.
