This game gave me a bit of a tough time when trying to record it's details, but luckily I managed to get atleast 10 that I thought were worth mentioning so I hope you enjoy!
fact : MGS franchise is one of these games that are ahead of time starting from MG 1 all the way to MGS V. Every part have something that other games dont have even today.

I think sometimes people underestimate each MGS as soon as they come out and in the next decade cause they're used to current ideas of what games should be and also focused on what their idea of what a MGS game should be. After a while each game stand on its own and the series always tries to subvert itself so in a way every time a game changes something we expect to be there it also stays consistent with the series. I think it might be the best series overall cause every game is very polished as a videogame but also well done and unique thematically.
Same, I always feel bad for them. Then again, when they spot me in pitch black darkness from 200 meters behind a rock I kinda get mad and slaughter them all.

Desert is actually pretty simple texture and those buildings and a lot of content has ''same and similar texture'' meaning that GPU doesen't have to process so much texture data.

Wow i’ve been playing MGS through the majority of my life including The Phantom Pain since it’s launch day and i had no idea about the Russian Soldiers comforting their dying ally’s :o Kojima always wanted to remind fans that MGS is an Anti-War game series, and he really knew how to portray it realistically throughout the games.

Will Wirth it's because nobody wants to kill, the subject is treated in games like battlefield V and most of the Metal Gear games. Not to mention actually killing someone in a real war, it's not pretty. Also I've read about hunters remorse when they fail to kill an animal for the same reasons, boars that get away with no nose or deers that run with one and a half missing leg are the reason most hunters don't go for the head most of the time.
All MGS games make the soldier so humans that it feels really bad to kill. From MGS2 they even have unique dog tags and here each soldier could become an ally if not killed. Also the deaths can be very violent and they all react to pain in a very human way. I think after watchign this video I'll try to finish the game with as few kills as I can
This game is actually not what Kojima Hideo want But amazing thing is he still got the patient to finish this game Impressive Edit: He actually didn't even finished the game, he got kicked out of the studio. Kojima later on made a new studio and made his very first game "Death Stranding" :)
We can say at least 50% of the game is kojimas work. You See it yourself while playing, the game is at some point very repetetive, the characters going to be simple the story has no real Ending it just cuts away. The whole game you think why isn't that or that better. Because a mgs Player from the beggining knows that 100% kojima game feels better story characters are better gameplay is much better. This game has his characters but this is not a kojima game.
There is also a detail with Snake's horn. If you will play aggressively and kill a lot it will become bigger and bigger. But if you will be more stealthy it will remain the same

Damn, graphics have already moved far since 2015. This game looks great, more than respectable even for a pc gamer today three years later, *but* you can tell this game came out a few years ago. Just compare it with another console game such as God of War 4 from this year. Amazing how what you thought were amazing graphics three years ago are today still great but not exceptional. It's almost scary how fast graphics age these days. I think it was a smart route by companies like Nintendo to release BOTW for instance, with an artistic animation style based on cell shading. Orinically the simplicity makes the game almost impossible to age graphically. Just compare Wind Waker with Twilight Princess and you'll know what I mean.
Sandre Streams Not really. MGS V was released for ps3 and Xbox 360 as well, that's why they didn't push the graphic that much. Plus it was in development for many years.
I find mgsv to have a certain art style . I love the polygons . It fits well as a sequel to snake eater or p.o , it doesn't age , it gets better with age to me. No One has the control like you do in mgsv the characters and customization plus mods keep this game as fresh as the moment it came out. It's up there with witcher3
Regarding the first one, it's not random. If you get (iirc) downed once you get the saline drip but if you get downed twice you get a blood bag instead.
6:10 reminds that Red Orchestra 2 has over an hour of unique VO of people struggling before they die in English, Japanese, Russian and German. Things like Begging for parents, asking god to forgiveness, singing nursery rhymes and hallucinating. It's a legitimately sad thing to listen to, you can find it on TH-cam

Yes, the drowning can be annoying because on the children mission to go non-lethal only with Quiet and myself using tranquilizer ammunition, only a child died in a nearby pond trying to pinpoint Quiet, mission failed. I literally was placing the objectives of the XO and Commander in Jeep then sudden mission fail.
Imagine Red Dead Redemption II, how many small details it's going to show. Man... Like, games are getting so real that it's initially hard to see them and think that I'm going to sit and PLAY it. You know?
another amazing detail, is when you steal the car from a patrol when they leave to spend some time in the base. When they get back and don't see their car, they will call the CP and when they say to then to proceed on foot, you see their sad reaction haha
That Last detail tho'... reminds of Red Orchestra 2, when your enemies could die out bleeding while screaming for their mothers. That fucked me up in the first time.

Been playing Metal Gear since a kid and MGSV was the only time I was like damn... I'm really brutality slaughtering these people and made my think different. From drowning soldiers to burning multiple in a 4x4. I guess... I enjoy all the killing.
If you get in trouble in a base, wait a looooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time (or just use the phantom cigare) the radio guy will find an explanation to everything. If you get enter critical once, you'll receive the drip. If you enter critical more than once, you'll get a bloodbag instead. The tube actually goes upwards through the sleeve and into the stump of his phantom arm
Here are the details that most of you don't know -you can crawl while using cardboard box -you can avoid being detected while driving a truck by holding "x" button -you can knock out enemies by throwing magazine right on their forehead -if you steal a Walker Gear that belongs to an enemy troop, they get angry and you can hear them cursing "somebody took my goddamn walker gear son of a bitch..." -you can avoid being spotted at night by shooting lightpoles -if you shoot Quiet after you she became your companion, she will start snipping your ass everytime -If you get spotted and then it goes to "cautious" mode the enemies will be patrolling the last position and some of them will be hiding waiting for you to show up. It's also different if they know that you went inside a place they will be carefully checking it. Kojima puts too much time and effort to make game look flawless and unique. I wonder what the game would've turned out if they allowed him to finish it.
Hi I'm playing mgsv on Xbox one and my completion is 6% and I'm in mission 8 and every time I do a mission like mission 11 or 12 I quit after that I go back mission 8 and 6% completion please help I don't know how to fix this

The IV bag is for if you sustained a serious injury during a mission. Blood Transfusion for two or more serious injuries sustained during a mission.

Unconscious enemies drown in shallow water, yes, but you can tranq all enemies and drown them and still finish a mission with a no kills ranking.

No actually the needle goes up to his bicep area. Watch more carefully and with better quality you'll see the line going up to his bicep
If you use stealth mode (cralw + triangle/Y) on the top of water, snake will not lower his head so he won't drown.

Well, 5 years before that, in 2010, it was already a feature in Red Dead Redemption, and it was smoother too. Sooo...
Here are the details that most of you don't know
-you can crawl while using cardboard box
-you can avoid being detected while driving a truck by holding "x" button
-you can knock out enemies by throwing magazine right on their forehead
-if you steal a Walker Gear that belongs to an enemy troop, they get angry and you can hear them cursing "somebody took my goddamn walker gear son of a bitch..."
-you can avoid being spotted at night by shooting lightpoles
-if you shoot Quiet after you she became your companion, she will start snipping your ass everytime
-If you get spotted and then it goes to "cautious" mode the enemies will be patrolling the last position and some of them will be hiding waiting for you to show up. It's also different if they know that you went inside a place they will be carefully checking it.
Kojima puts too much time and effort to make game look flawless and unique. I wonder what the game would've turned out if they allowed him to finish it.
