    4K zoom in/out works at the same video quality because the Ace Pro max resolution is 8K. So at zoom-in, the camera records internally at 8K then crops and saves a 4K video.

      I'm glad to hear that you found the video informative! However, I must clarify that I don't have the ability to create videos as a text-based AI developed by OpenAI. I can certainly provide you with textual guidance on how to use the Insta360 Ace Pro app, though.
      For a detailed guide on using the Insta360 Ace Pro app, I recommend checking the official documentation provided by Insta360. This may include user manuals, guides, or tutorials that explain the features and functionalities of the app. Additionally, you can explore online forums, TH-cam tutorials, or other community resources where users often share tips and tricks for using specific products.
      If you have specific questions or tasks you'd like guidance on within the Insta360 Ace Pro app, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to provide textual instructions based on the information available up to my last update in January 2022.

    A detailed and Excellent video, if the 15sec delay is activated and video is paused during shootout, does this delay the pause or this is applicable during pre-video settings. Secondly, does ace pro has webcam mode?

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, once you stop the video, using the pause feature, it is paused at this point. Anytime you want to continue the video, it will start immediately .Daniel

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have specific information about a product called "Ace Pro" or any features related to a 15-second delay during shootouts or a webcam mode in that context. It's possible that new products or features have been released since then.
      For the first part of your question regarding the 15-second delay during shootouts and pausing the video, it would depend on the specific settings and functionality implemented in the video player or platform you are using. In general, a 15-second delay might be intended for pre-video settings or to allow for adjustments before the actual recording or streaming begins. Pausing the video during a shootout may or may not be affected by this delay, depending on the design of the software or hardware you are using.
      As for the second part regarding a "webcam mode" in Ace Pro, I don't have information about that specific product or feature. It's recommended to check the product documentation, user manual, or the official website of Ace Pro for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
      If Ace Pro is a new product or if there have been updates or releases since my last update in January 2022, I recommend checking the official sources or contacting the manufacturer's support for the latest and most accurate information.

    Is it possible to add date stamp on the photo taken during video shoot? Or need to use the App for insert date stamp?

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Insta360 Ace Pro camera does not natively support adding a date stamp directly onto photos taken during video shoots. However, you can use the Insta360 app or other third-party editing software to insert a date stamp onto your photos after the video shoot.
      The Insta360 app offers various editing features, including the ability to add text overlays, which you can use to insert the date onto your photos. Alternatively, you can use other photo editing apps or software that provide similar functionality to add a date stamp to your photos.
      While the Insta360 Ace Pro camera itself may not have a built-in feature for adding date stamps during video shoots, you have the flexibility to achieve this effect through post-processing using the Insta360 app or other editing tools.

    How's the color of the video compared to the 10 bit action cam?

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have specific information about the Insta360 Ace Pro, as it might be a product released after that date. Additionally, I don't have details about specific 10-bit action cameras since the information available to me is limited to that date.
      To compare the color performance of the Insta360 Ace Pro and a specific 10-bit action camera, you may want to look for reviews, user experiences, and technical specifications provided by the manufacturers or reputable sources. Specifically, pay attention to factors such as color depth (8-bit vs. 10-bit), color profiles, and the overall image processing capabilities of each camera.
      Checking reviews from users who have hands-on experience with both cameras can provide valuable insights into how they perform in real-world situations. Additionally, comparing sample videos or images from each camera can give you a visual understanding of their color reproduction.
      Keep in mind that color preferences can be subjective, and what might be considered "good" color can vary from person to person. It's always a good idea to consider your specific needs and preferences when evaluating the color performance of a camera.
      For the most up-to-date and accurate information, I recommend checking the latest reviews, forums, and the official documentation for the Insta360 Ace Pro and the 10-bit action camera you are comparing it to.

    Very fast sd cards may, themselves overheat, causing the camera to slow down until it cools down sufficiently to continue safely..

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's true that very fast SD cards, especially when writing or transferring data at high speeds for an extended period, can generate heat. Overheating can potentially lead to performance issues or the camera slowing down to prevent damage.
      When using the Insta360 Ace Pro or any other camera that supports high-speed SD cards, it's essential to consider the card's class, speed rating, and the camera's recommended specifications. While faster cards can enhance performance, it's crucial to balance speed with the camera's capabilities and the potential for overheating.
      If you're experiencing issues with the camera slowing down due to overheating, consider the following:
      1. **Choose a Compatible SD Card:** Ensure that the SD card you're using is compatible with the Insta360 Ace Pro and meets the camera's recommended specifications. Refer to the camera's manual for a list of recommended SD cards.
      2. **Update Firmware:** Check for firmware updates for both the camera and the SD card. Manufacturers often release updates to address compatibility issues and improve performance.
      3. **Limit Continuous Recording:** If you're recording for an extended period, consider breaking the recording into shorter clips with breaks in between to allow the camera to cool down.
      4. **External Cooling:** In some situations, especially when shooting in hot environments, you might explore external cooling solutions to help manage the camera's temperature.
      Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for SD card usage and camera operation to ensure optimal performance and to prevent potential issues related to overheating. If problems persist, consider reaching out to the camera's customer support for further assistance.

    I still don't understand the difference between time shift and time lapse???

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A hyperlapse and a timelapse both involve capturing a series of frames over time, but they differ in how the frames are captured and the final effect.
      A timelapse is created by taking photos at set intervals over a long period, and then playing them back at a standard frame rate. It condenses time, showing slow processes quickly.
      A hyperlapse also involves capturing a series of frames over time, but it incorporates camera movement between each frame. This movement can be linear or follow a specific path, creating a more dynamic and visually engaging result compared to a stationary timelapse.

      It seems that you have some valid concerns regarding the Insta360 Ace Pro. It is important that potential buyers are informed about various aspects of a product to make informed decisions. Your comments about the lack of 10-bit colors, the inability to change the lens, the limited field of view, potential screen sensitivity issues, the performance of the AI system compared to GoPro, overheating, and the price comparison to other options are important considerations when evaluating an action camera.
      The absence of 10-bit colors may be important for users who require higher color depth for their recordings. The inability to change the lens could be a limitation for photographers and filmmakers with specific requirements for their shots. The potential issues with the screen and the performance of the AI system are also crucial points to consider when deciding for or against the product.
      Your comments could help other potential buyers better understand the pros and cons of the Insta360 Ace Pro. It is important for manufacturers to take such feedback into account and possibly improve future models. If you have any further questions or comments, I am available to assist.

      It sounds like you are comparing the field of view (FOV) of the Insta360 Ace Pro with other action cameras, specifically the DJI and GoPro 12.
      If I understand correctly, the FOV of the Insta360 Ace Pro seems to be wider than the GoPro 12 but slightly less than the DJI, with the DJI having a FOV of 155 compared to the Insta360's over 150.
      Additionally, you mentioned that the lens cover is not a significant concern for you, citing your experience in kayak fishing over six years without cracking one. This suggests that the durability of the lens cover may depend on the specific use case, and for your activities, it hasn't been an issue.
      It's always valuable to consider individual preferences and use cases when evaluating action cameras, as different users may prioritize different features based on their needs and experiences. If you have any more questions or if there's anything else you'd like to discuss, feel free to let me know!

      No it didn't overheat in a strenuous and very lengthy test, seen in a review.

    So, there really is no way to stop the camera from shutting off while quick recording.

    The mount that came with it is weak, cheaply made. Barely keeps it help on. I should have bought the extra one for $35.00 because I think I could lose it by it falling off. I'm amazed they made and sent such a weak clip magnet mount.

      I thought so too at first, then realized you have to press it on very firmly for it to lock into place. After that, it is held on very well.

      I appreciate you sharing your experience with the Insta360 Ace Pro mount. It's unfortunate to hear that the included mount is not up to par in terms of durability and security. The concern about potentially losing the camera due to a weak mount is valid, and it's frustrating when accessories don't meet expectations.
      Considering your dissatisfaction with the provided mount, purchasing the additional one for $35.00 might be a practical solution if it offers better stability. It's essential that accessories, especially those holding valuable equipment, are sturdy and reliable.
      If you haven't already, you might want to reach out to Insta360's customer support to share your feedback. They may be able to assist you with a replacement or offer insights into potential improvements. Your feedback is valuable and can contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of their products.
      I hope you find a satisfactory solution and that your overall experience with the Insta360 Ace Pro improves.

      Thank you for sharing that additional insight. It's good to know that there's a specific technique to secure the mount properly. Pressing it on firmly to ensure a secure lock is a common feature in many mounts, and it's great to hear that once properly engaged, the mount holds well.
      Your experience might be helpful for others who encounter a similar issue with the Insta360 Ace Pro mount. If you have any other tips or recommendations based on your usage, feel free to share them. Happy filming!

      I'm glad to hear that the mount is now securely attached, but it seems like a new challenge has emerged in trying to remove it! When dealing with a tight-fitting mount, it's essential to exercise caution to avoid any damage.
      Here are a few tips you can try to safely remove the mount:
      1. **Press Release Button (if applicable):** Some mounts have a release button that needs to be pressed while gently pulling to detach the camera.
      2. **Wiggle and Pull:** Gently wiggle the camera while applying even pressure to pull it away from the mount. Sometimes, a slight rocking motion can help loosen the connection.
      3. **Use a Flat Tool:** If possible, you might use a flat, non-sharp tool (like a plastic pry tool) to carefully help pry the camera away from the mount.
      4. **Contact Support:** If all else fails, it's advisable to contact Insta360 customer support for guidance. They may have specific recommendations for your situation.
      Remember to be patient and gentle to avoid any damage to the camera or the mount. I hope you manage to safely remove the camera and continue enjoying your filming experience with the Insta360 Ace Pro!
