Thank you so much! 😊 I’ve found that organizing based on each child’s personality really helps keep things running smoothly and makes the space more functional for everyone. Glad you like it! ❤
I love your homeschool classroom. Side note you can have the kids use the microscope. They can look at hair, fabric, skin, food...They can write findings in a kid friendly Science journals. Then use the internet to find additional info about their discoveries.
Thank you! 😊 I completely understand the concern about visual clutter. Turning the bookshelves that way has helped create a cleaner look in the room, while still making the books easily accessible. You could also try using bins or baskets on the shelves to hide some of the visual clutter while keeping things organized.
@@PlanPrepPray smart!! I actually have all of our books and extra curriculum in bankers boxes with lids because I rearrange our setup so much because I'm still trying to find what works and I can fit more on a shelf in a neat way 😁 but bins is a very good idea! I'm hesitant because I have a history of buying too many bins 😆
May I ask what month poem you do? I am looking for a little routine for my morning for calendar time with my special needs 6 yr old and I liked your simple schedule you showed us. I have a calendar w/ all those elements as well. Sorry if it’s a silly question.🫣
Not a silly question at all! 😊 The poem we use is 'Thirty Days Hath September.' It’s a simple and effective way to help kids remember the number of days in each month. I love that you’re working on building a routine with your calendar time. Routines can be such a blessing! Best of luck with your mornings!
I noticed you moved your office space and that you didn't give us a tour of the space that you do your video intros. Will we get a tour of that or probably not?
You're so observant! 😊 I haven’t given a tour of the new office space yet, but I’ve been thinking about it. It’s definitely something I might consider sharing in the future (maybe in the library video), especially if it would be helpful or interesting to you all. Stay tuned-you never know! 😉
Solidarity with homeschooling with a toddler. It is not for the faint of heart lol also where did you get your spinning pencil organizer? I could definitely use a bettter way to store ours out of the way of said toddler 😅
My older kids are currently using both Teaching Textbooks and Math-U-See. I decided to switch because taking on my friend's kids added a lot of time to my math grading routine. I wanted a curriculum that offered self-grading to help save time, but I appreciate that Math-U-See provides a more in-depth review. Plus we've always done two maths.
I love your space. I miss having a space so I live through other homeschool moms. Your library space is actually goals 😍😍😍 love it all!

Did you switch to Math U See from CLE math for your older kids? Could you share what prompted the change? Thanks!
