Remember Helene didn't want Dasha to kill Eve, just drive a wedge between them. I can very much see Helene kidnapping Eve to draw V out to get revenge for leaving and killing her minion at the train station (and she knows Eve is V's weakness). They will somehow end up in that room with the little chair. V can rescue Eve like Eve rescued V from Raymond. I can't stop thinking of all the scenarios that I want to happen next season.. It's going to be a long wait and I'm already going crazy after a couple of days.
This episode clearly shows you don’t need kissing, you don’t need sex, there is so much emotion between them both. And it’s such a romantic episode. Season 4 I think is going to be Eve, Vil, and Caroline hunting the twelve one by one. And I hoping with Eve and Vil together. Xxxx well done killing eve season 3. Well done xxx
This reaction is top tier, Emily! I was smiling the entire time! Also, I think that ending scene was more intimate than a kiss would've been. Season 1: V forces herself onto Eve and Eve stabs her to escape. Season 2: V forces herself onto Eve and when Eve walks away, she shoots her. Season 3: V gives Eve the autonomy to walk away, and Eve stays. The character growth that V has had this season has been amazing. Watching her go from viewing Eve as a possession to genuinely loving her and doing that it best for her. You're right, this is the best love story ever told.
In season 1 Villanelle never forced herself on Eve. E got V into let her guard down and lured her in for the stabbing. Season 2 Eve's pissed at being tricked into killing, turned her back on Villanelle refusing to be a possession then got shot from back to chest for her trouble. Season 3 Oksana gives Eve a choice to walk away and she stays. They went from existential opponents to starcrossed lovers.

😂😂 Villanelle at Eve's work and her interaction with the journalists I loved that entire scene at Paul's place. There's been some really great fan art already depicting Villanelle and Eve as kids while mom (Carolyn) and dad (Konstantin) are arguing. I think that was the most normal down to earth conversation that Villanelle and Eve have had. There were so many nuances in that last scene. The Eve leaning in then back, V's head tilt back as they were back to back. She's so in love with Eve she was willing to let her go if that's what Eve wanting. Although she walked away first she also stopped first but Eve looked back first and when V turned around and saw her looking at her she was so relieved. All of the things they were saying with just their eyes at the very end...😍🤗 I wonder if they'll be on the run or trying to take out the twelve next season. I have no idea were those two might go from here. Will we still see much of Konstantin and Carolyn and company next season? Overall I think this is my favorite episode of #KillingEve It just made me feel so happy and had me laughing so hard often. Really great after this last week. I hope people are staying safe.
I like the way Villanelle reverted to childhood in a way since she’s been home, except when she’s with Eve. Then she grts completely centered. She’s adult, seasoned, sad, reflective, mature and protective.
I know! It makes me kind of nervous, since it makes it slightly unclear whether Villanelle was actually willing to make a sacrifice, or simply trying to manipulate Eve even more. Ahhhhh
The conversation on the bridge was the most sincere V has ever been, at the end of last season she wanted to run away to a cabin in Canada that only exists in the snow globe that Nico let her keep. Caroline told her if she can't kill anymore then she is irrelevant, but the killing of Rhian shows, the darkness is still within her.
This is such an amazing ending. The whole season was fabulous, in fact "Killing Eve" might just be the best TV I've ever seen. That end scene with Eve and Villanelle walking away to that amazing song, by Johnny Jewel, sung by Saoirse Ronan, is so perfect and then they turn around and look back at each other, damn that's beautiful. By the way the scene where Villanelle goes to Eve's workplace and those three guys realise it's HER is just fantastic.

I thought the writing was brilliant. Villanelle is getting tired of the killing and the ending was beautiful. She finally understood what true love is. Eve said help me stop so Villanelle was willing to let her go instead of before when she said you are mine! Like she was a possession. If Eve truly wanted to be with her she would turn around and she did. I was yelling turn around too!!! So beautiful. Way more meaningful than just a kiss. Loved your reaction!
Yes that is a good point, it seem she was willing to let her go. But I actually read an interview someone had with one of the producers and they clarified that Villanelle was 99.9% sure eve was going to turn around. The interviewer pretty much asked would you say that was manipulative and they responded with pretty much. You can even tell by the way V turned around that she was sure eve was going to be looking at her when she turned. Let's be real, V wasn't truely going to let her go if she did walk away and didn't turn back. I mean, she wouldn't have shot her in the back or anything but she probably would have still persued her another day. She definitely wouldn't have let her be. But it is nice to see she at least pretended like she was giving eve the choice to decide for herself. V has definitely grown because she is thinking about someone's feelings other than her own.

Originally I thought Eve was asking for help to stop her monster, but apparently she wanted help to stop having feelings for Villanelle. And when she's walking away she's kinda smiling cause Villanelle was being the opposite of the "you're mine" shit she pulled the last time, but then she realizes that it means she has to give her up and it just clicked she doesn't want that, and her facial expression begins to look more and more miserable until she stops and turns around. When Villanelle turns too, Eve's face softens. The details in this ep were extraordinary.
That was so good it when emotionally so deep we could almost feel V yearning to be accepted and allowing eve to walk away! and eve having the choice it was so beautiful,on so many levels and the acting superb your reaction was spot on 😊
I actually think this is the best ending we could've asked for. Aside from the spectacular shooting, the final scene was a masterpiece (it's so beautiful, I cried so much). The acting, the script, the location, everything brings us to what they are now, for each other. they're on two different sides of a bridge, but they're still on the same damn 'bridge'. And the dancing scene = show-stopping, incredible, amazing, never-been-done-before...also, did you notice how, when Eve turned around first, Villanelle stopped, too, but it took her more time to have the courage to do it. you can see it from her face (Jesus christ thank god for Jodie comer) she was so scared, ready to be disappointed one more time. To see once again everything she loves walking away. I don't know how they're going to play it out next season. and I have so many questions about Geraldine? but I'm honestly 100% sure it's going to be amazing as always (and if they give us domestic Villaneve I'm gonna lose it). also...Can We All Appreciate The Outfits They Served?!?!? And The Locations??? And How Is It Possible That Jodie Comer Looks More And More Beautiful Every. Time. I. See. Her?? Like HOW?

I've watched this episode 4 times and enjoy/cried each time. But, watching it with you is such a joy. Thank you for validating everything I'm feeling. You are such a treasure.
I know we're all crying about the ending (and I DO, holy shit) but to me one of the most beautiful things that happened apart from that was the 'you're not family' scene. It's so layered. It makes sense after all this time that Villanelle realizes Eve is her 'family' aka the only one she can honestly trust, but at the same time it's all happening right at that scene as well. Just imagine being Villanelle watching this unfold between Carolyn and Konstantin. Last season she thought she was equally if not more important to Konstantin than his real family and he betrayed her and turned her down all in one move. But as far as she knows, she was only 'competing' with his real family, and lost. But what's happening now? She's literally seeing the same type of scenario in front of her. Konstantin had 'one more family', people he loved apparently, and he ALSO betrayed THEM (by killing Kenny, or at the very least betraying him and/or Carolyn). I think it's the ultimate realization for her that Konstantin will always be someone who can turn on you if it suits him, who will always go for self-preservation and who'll always bullshit you if need may be. She loves him in her way and he loves her back in his, but yes, she definitely shouldn't go with him as her best option. Especially now when Eve's the 'honest' alternative, built on REAL trust and acceptance. I don't know, I just thought it was a brilliant piece of writing where all pieces sort of come together for Villanelle in relation to Konstantin. Really well done. Thank You for a season worth of reactions FBT, this was the most transformative season of Killing Eve to date. The evolution of where Eve and Villanelle ended last season to where they where come season's end is very splendid storytelling, the look they have with each other says more than any other interaction could have. A hopeful note to end the season, the promise of Villaneve now that they only have each other. Carolyn and Konstantin goes through a lot of changes this season as well, Konstantin has burned all his bridges so it will be interesting to see how he will survive as a fugitive. Carolyn losing Kenny, coming to terms with her relationship with Geraldine, the revelation at Paul's house with Konstantin has led her to believe it's futile to oppose the Twelve, does this mean she will join them or simply turn a blind eye towards them. The Twelve will be represented next season by Helene and no doubt she is not done with Villanelle, I suspect a replacement for her will sought to take her place. Perhaps someone we already know, interesting times ahead. A great season overall, thoroughly enjoyed and be interesting to see what comes next. Thank You Emily for your endlessly entertaining reactions, it was a joy. Looking forward to more Motherland reactions, take care and be well.
Thanks Emily, love your reactions, I had been checking until yours arrived, so thanks. I feel blessed that I was able to initially stream the BBC America version, but hate the ads in the episode. Then once it ends In Australia we have KE on ABC iview straight after, then on the ABC tv on Saturday, they are commercial free. So great I can watch it that way, I always add the Aussie version not sure how many can access when I link it via twitter. Loved the episode of course, now seen it over 6 times; as this covid may hold up production for S4. I read an article that the first 3 episodes have already been written so hopefully the delay is not too long. I loved that V put her arm around E then had her hand on Eve's leg during the scene at Paul's house. It was great to get the main characters in a room together. In another interview with Jodie she says she was happy to finally get a scene with Carolyn and her together as they had never had one with just the both of them, great location at Royal Albert Hall London. Of course the bridge scene was as I had imagined and hope Laura does a great job in S4. As a side note in the Bitter Pill office the music when she meets the staff I'm sure was an instrumental version of Babushka, the Kate Bush song which I adore. Some people were disappointed by this series but I felt it had character development to set up S4. Sorry this is long as I just usually read and like comments. Keep up the great work and stay safe. I'm glad you shared same feelings about the end, like I also was happy with the end. Villanelle is into Eve since the beginning but Eve's feelings have evolved so much from curiosity, denial, fixation, love... A final like this gives me hope that next season can be cool, can't be right away the original hunter and pray... Or not just now. Sounds like they could work or share more episodes next season and get closer, never like playing house, but with their distinct kind of love.

E8 was truly a masterpiece in all aspects, the only downside was my allergy hit me partway into the episode and my damn nose and eyes would run every now an then. OMG I was waiting all day yesterday for your reaction video, cuz its like literally the highlight of my week. I was talking to you on twitter monday about when during the dance they were awkward and then they BOTH leaned into each other. I payed attention, and I think I saw the moment when your soul left your body!haha Watching the ep. again through your videos, it still gives me all the same feels as when watching it the first time. Their chemistry is just so amazing. They can give just a single glance or make one small movement and it can mean SO MUCH. I also didn't catch it the first time, but when they are back to back Villianelle leans back into her and takes a deep breath ( just maybe a little scared it might be their last time? ) I could be wrong, but just that moment..ugh! And I loooove that it was Eve who turned around first. I was yelling at the tv so much at this point I thought OMG, Eve is gonna turn around and Villianelle is gone. (because they usually like to torture our poor souls while we wait for the next season!) THANK GOD that didn't happen. But I think, in that moment, Villianelle waited extra long before she turned back because if Eve was still there that would be the ONLY person, knowing every bad thing she's ever done, who sees her as a real person with good in her, and NOT walk out of her life. Every single person Villianelle was 'close to' never cared about her, they just used her as a human weapon and threw her away. So to have Eve turn back first was SO BEAUTIFUL. And the little smirk on Villianelle's face as she turns. I DIED. Damn I wrote a lot. I could go on forever but we'll just leave it there. hahahaha "Turn around, you hoes!" (10:07) - I love it - brilliant reaction, Free B. GREAT symbolism from the writers (director?) too. Did you notice where Eve & Villanelle met at the end? (7:01) They met in the centre of Tower Bridge (London), on either side of the join. Tower Bridge is a bridge which separates and opens, the mechanism of which is known as a 'bascule'. Bascule is French for a 'balance'. Now, Eve and Villanelle have been on opposite banks if you like, throughout this whole show. Good and evil , them and us, psycho and normal if you wish. Just like the two halves of Tower Bridge, Eve and Villanelle have been closing together and in this episode, you can see that the bridge is balanced and the two actually meet, joined precisely at the centre, equal and on a par. Villanelle has gained empathy, a need for human affection, and Eve has toughened the fuck up, ceased to be a doormat, and is fighting for want SHE wants out of life.(Cool, eh - nice writing, guys!) So, chin up, Villanevers, they've actually met on the very same bridge together (progress!). I know Season 4 is a looooong way awayz, but there's something now to look forward to. I wonder if in Season 4 they'll continue with the bridge symbolism? (Not a lot of people know this, but) There IS actually a type of bridge known as a 'Scissor Bridge'.

Yeah, that ending is way better than a kiss would have been, and I just realized how surprised Eve was when Villanelle told her to turn around. (also Villanelle is taller than Eve) The song they used when Carolyn had a gun to Konstantin's head is the same song they played when Bill "got mugged at a club" in 1x03 which made me think "oh, Konstantin's gonna die now" which is just clever, and also they killed Kenny in the first episode of this season, and Carolyn had a close call so I really thought that Konstantin was over.
Okay so i watched this endscene so many times because it is just so amazing but sad the season ended with that cliffhanger... I don't believe Konstantin because we saw when Eve threw the cake over the rail that the edges on that rooftop are wayyyyy too high to just stumble over the edge on. They were up to her armpits. He couldn't have just fallen while walking backwards.
A side note if you're a fan of Jodie and Harriet Walter (Dasha). Nothing to do with the show. Appearing on TH-cam are 12 new monologues by Alan Bennett (wrote The Lady in the Van) who is widely held as one of the greatest of Britain's playwrights at the present time. When they were first aired on the BBC in 1987 they were immediately hailed as a masterpiece. They've just been re-filmed again for the BBC with a new cast and with some additional monologues. They are 30 to 40 minutes long. The first one, "A Lady of Letters" stars Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter). Jodie is in "Her Big Chance", Harriet Walters (Dasha) in "Soldiering On" and Martin Freeman (Sherlock and the 1st series of Fargo on Netflix) is in "A Chip in the Sugar". Jodie plays an actress speaking about an audition she's getting, not realising it's for a porn film. There's no real action in these films and the characters don't interact with anyone else although their location may change. In each, the character simply speaks to the camera. Whether they're suitable for a Reaction video or not is doubtful, but I do urge you to take a look at them for your own entertainment. These are amazing actors performing wonderful material. Jodie says it's one of the most difficult things she's ever done. 5th August 2020: This years version of Talking Heads has gone from TH-cam though the previous versions are still here. To see Jodie and her modern compatriots, you'll need to get a VPN to access BBC iPlayer, which is normally available to the UK only.

Best ending definitely. Like Eve said in E4, "Choices, it's all about choices." I think Villanelle was always gonna turn around, and not 100% sure that eve would do the same thing.But she was willing to take the risk to set Eve free. For Eve, she chose Villanelle over a normal life. That's love, so romantic, even better than a kiss.
I liked this episode but overall, I was really frustrated with this season. Constant death fake outs, muddled storylines, and more time spent on inconsequential characters than on the core relationship of the show. Geraldine played a version of the same scene over and over again and it was exhausting to watch. Eve was sidelined to a degree that damaged the show, and her character seemed to regress until the show remembered that Eve is the title character and brought her back. The show has pulled punch after punch. Carolyn gets shot at point blank range but GOTCHA she’s not! Niko takes a pitchfork to the neck but GOTCHA he’s alive! Konstantin has a dramatic heart attack but GOTCHA he’s alive! They do this so much that I knew Konstantin wouldn’t get shot at the end. It’s just so disappointing that I can’t feel the same excitement for the show that I had for Season 1. On the positive side, Villanelle got a lot to do and Jodie will get the Emmy for the Pinner episode.
Villanelle and Konstantin owned this season. Eve being sidelined with her journey and issues resulting from killing someone and getting shot were only ever addressed on a surface level and didn't dig deep enough while Villanelle's got the most depth, care and attention. Once again, Eve the title character languished in the shadow of Villanelle.
I think Suzanne Heathcote stepping down as showrunner and Laura Neal taking over will really benefit season 4. The show and the characters are so strong that Suzanne couldn't really hurt it but her writing isn't really that great. Plus she said she could totally envision a season 4 without Eve and Villanelle. Wtf? Laura wrote ep 3, 7 & 8 this season so I really think her ownership of season 4 is going to be great. Fingers crossed.

I love it this season, maybe not up to the top of season 1, but really good season, if you pay attention to the little details and clues that they drop on each episode since season 1, you notice how well defined are all characters background since the beginning, they are not changing things on the run. Each time they drop extra clues and everything starts to have sense. They way they manage the tension is also great. This was a great ending. Nice to see your reactions, see you next year..
Of all the Bitter Pill staff, Bear is the only one I would love to see pop up again in S4. He’s the only one that actually contributed to the storyline in any significant way this season - and he’s fun comic relief.

The 1st season finished with V being stabbed by Eve, 2nd finished with Eve being shot by V and I'm so happy the 3rd finished with them both on equal terms understanding/choosing each other 💕
Matryoshka dolls made up of Russian heads of state is a great idea. We learned Kenny was the thieving bastard of his office. Love unfamiliar characters meeting like Villanelle with the Bitter Pill staff. This is the most observant we have seen Villanelle of other people, they can be interesting to her. She admires Carolyn and seemed turned on in that scene.
The impact of that ending! The emotion...the romance wow season 4 villaneve! What a rollercoaster & development of characters this season. My thoughts are that the 12 won’t ever let villanelle live her life so I predict season 4 will be them working as a couple to take the 12 down! Moment to say how immense was Carolyn in this episode 👏🏻
So we hold our breath for S4... The Twelve must be really pissed. Konstantin stole their funds, Villanelle killed all the wrong people, Eve is a thorn in their side, Caroline shot their mole... I think a lot of people are really going to have to cooperate going forward if they are to survive. I'm sure Dasha will revive - she is just delightfully, old school nasty. Bitter Pill better return - they have been a great thread and supplied the medium for all the greatest gags in this season.
Laura Neal who was on of the co-writers for Season 3 will take over as Lead Writer for Season 4, so expect more of the same! Great reactions, roll on Season 4! I for one do not think that Dasha is dead! In addition, people seem to very much underestimate Carolyn. On one hand how did she know about Helene and V's real name (please tell me if I have forgotten). On the other hand, Carolyn is an ex field agent who is now head of the Russian Office MI6 British Intelligence! She probably knows or suspects much more than we are led to believe.

You say about where their feelings have come from but in episode 1 if the show that Eve had a 'thing' for female assassin's, even if given in a joking manner, showing that Villanelle was not the first she had been interested in, even if she wasn't aware why she had the interest

The fact that V makes a point to say she would use that chair to kill Helene makes me think we'll actually see it happen next season.
Remember Helene didn't want Dasha to kill Eve, just drive a wedge between them. I can very much see Helene kidnapping Eve to draw V out to get revenge for leaving and killing her minion at the train station (and she knows Eve is V's weakness). They will somehow end up in that room with the little chair. V can rescue Eve like Eve rescued V from Raymond.
I can't stop thinking of all the scenarios that I want to happen next season.. It's going to be a long wait and I'm already going crazy after a couple of days.

The character growth that V has had this season has been amazing. Watching her go from viewing Eve as a possession to genuinely loving her and doing that it best for her.

In season 1 Villanelle never forced herself on Eve. E got V into let her guard down and lured her in for the stabbing. Season 2 Eve's pissed at being tricked into killing, turned her back on Villanelle refusing to be a possession then got shot from back to chest for her trouble. Season 3 Oksana gives Eve a choice to walk away and she stays. They went from existential opponents to starcrossed lovers.

I loved that entire scene at Paul's place. There's been some really great fan art already depicting Villanelle and Eve as kids while mom (Carolyn) and dad (Konstantin) are arguing.
I think that was the most normal down to earth conversation that Villanelle and Eve have had. There were so many nuances in that last scene. The Eve leaning in then back, V's head tilt back as they were back to back. She's so in love with Eve she was willing to let her go if that's what Eve wanting. Although she walked away first she also stopped first but Eve looked back first and when V turned around and saw her looking at her she was so relieved. All of the things they were saying with just their eyes at the very end...😍🤗
I wonder if they'll be on the run or trying to take out the twelve next season. I have no idea were those two might go from here. Will we still see much of Konstantin and Carolyn and company next season?
Overall I think this is my favorite episode of #KillingEve It just made me feel so happy and had me laughing so hard often. Really great after this last week.

I like the way Villanelle reverted to childhood in a way since she’s been home, except when she’s with Eve. Then she grts completely centered. She’s adult, seasoned, sad, reflective, mature and protective.

The conversation on the bridge was the most sincere V has ever been, at the end of last season she wanted to run away to a cabin in Canada that only exists in the snow globe that Nico let her keep. Caroline told her if she can't kill anymore then she is irrelevant, but the killing of Rhian shows, the darkness is still within her.
She would have died herself.I think she only wanted to teach this young assassin a lesson.Choose a different profession.
This is such an amazing ending. The whole season was fabulous, in fact "Killing Eve" might just be the best TV I've ever seen. That end scene with Eve and Villanelle walking away to that amazing song, by Johnny Jewel, sung by Saoirse Ronan, is so perfect and then they turn around and look back at each other, damn that's beautiful.
By the way the scene where Villanelle goes to Eve's workplace and those three guys realise it's HER is just fantastic.

I thought the writing was brilliant. Villanelle is getting tired of the killing and the ending was beautiful. She finally understood what true love is. Eve said help me stop so Villanelle was willing to let her go instead of before when she said you are mine! Like she was a possession. If Eve truly wanted to be with her she would turn around and she did. I was yelling turn around too!!! So beautiful. Way more meaningful than just a kiss. Loved your reaction!
Yes that is a good point, it seem she was willing to let her go. But I actually read an interview someone had with one of the producers and they clarified that Villanelle was 99.9% sure eve was going to turn around. The interviewer pretty much asked would you say that was manipulative and they responded with pretty much. You can even tell by the way V turned around that she was sure eve was going to be looking at her when she turned. Let's be real, V wasn't truely going to let her go if she did walk away and didn't turn back. I mean, she wouldn't have shot her in the back or anything but she probably would have still persued her another day. She definitely wouldn't have let her be. But it is nice to see she at least pretended like she was giving eve the choice to decide for herself. V has definitely grown because she is thinking about someone's feelings other than her own.

Originally I thought Eve was asking for help to stop her monster, but apparently she wanted help to stop having feelings for Villanelle.
And when she's walking away she's kinda smiling cause Villanelle was being the opposite of the "you're mine" shit she pulled the last time, but then she realizes that it means she has to give her up and it just clicked she doesn't want that, and her facial expression begins to look more and more miserable until she stops and turns around. When Villanelle turns too, Eve's face softens. The details in this ep were extraordinary.

I actually think this is the best ending we could've asked for. Aside from the spectacular shooting, the final scene was a masterpiece (it's so beautiful, I cried so much). The acting, the script, the location, everything brings us to what they are now, for each other. they're on two different sides of a bridge, but they're still on the same damn 'bridge'. And the dancing scene = show-stopping, incredible, amazing, never-been-done-before...also, did you notice how, when Eve turned around first, Villanelle stopped, too, but it took her more time to have the courage to do it. you can see it from her face (Jesus christ thank god for Jodie comer) she was so scared, ready to be disappointed one more time. To see once again everything she loves walking away. I don't know how they're going to play it out next season. and I have so many questions about Geraldine? but I'm honestly 100% sure it's going to be amazing as always (and if they give us domestic Villaneve I'm gonna lose it). also...Can We All Appreciate The Outfits They Served?!?!? And The Locations??? And How Is It Possible That Jodie Comer Looks More And More Beautiful Every. Time. I. See. Her?? Like HOW?

My two favourite episodes 3&8 was written by next season’s head writer, Laura Neal, so I have hope for season 4.

This didn't age well
I know we're all crying about the ending (and I DO, holy shit) but to me one of the most beautiful things that happened apart from that was the 'you're not family' scene. It's so layered. It makes sense after all this time that Villanelle realizes Eve is her 'family' aka the only one she can honestly trust, but at the same time it's all happening right at that scene as well. Just imagine being Villanelle watching this unfold between Carolyn and Konstantin. Last season she thought she was equally if not more important to Konstantin than his real family and he betrayed her and turned her down all in one move. But as far as she knows, she was only 'competing' with his real family, and lost. But what's happening now? She's literally seeing the same type of scenario in front of her. Konstantin had 'one more family', people he loved apparently, and he ALSO betrayed THEM (by killing Kenny, or at the very least betraying him and/or Carolyn). I think it's the ultimate realization for her that Konstantin will always be someone who can turn on you if it suits him, who will always go for self-preservation and who'll always bullshit you if need may be. She loves him in her way and he loves her back in his, but yes, she definitely shouldn't go with him as her best option. Especially now when Eve's the 'honest' alternative, built on REAL trust and acceptance. I don't know, I just thought it was a brilliant piece of writing where all pieces sort of come together for Villanelle in relation to Konstantin. Really well done. Anyway thank you for your reaction, it's always a pleasure to watch your videos :)

Thank You for a season worth of reactions FBT, this was the most transformative season of Killing Eve to date. The evolution of where Eve and Villanelle ended last season to where they where come season's end is very splendid storytelling, the look they have with each other says more than any other interaction could have. A hopeful note to end the season, the promise of Villaneve now that they only have each other.
Carolyn and Konstantin goes through a lot of changes this season as well, Konstantin has burned all his bridges so it will be interesting to see how he will survive as a fugitive. Carolyn losing Kenny, coming to terms with her relationship with Geraldine, the revelation at Paul's house with Konstantin has led her to believe it's futile to oppose the Twelve, does this mean she will join them or simply turn a blind eye towards them.
The Twelve will be represented next season by Helene and no doubt she is not done with Villanelle, I suspect a replacement for her will sought to take her place. Perhaps someone we already know, interesting times ahead. A great season overall, thoroughly enjoyed and be interesting to see what comes next.

Then once it ends In Australia we have KE on ABC iview straight after, then on the ABC tv on Saturday, they are commercial free.
So great I can watch it that way, I always add the Aussie version not sure how many can access

Loved the episode of course, now seen it over 6 times; as this covid may hold up production for S4.
I read an article that the first 3 episodes have already been written so hopefully the delay is not too long.
I loved that V put her arm around E then had her hand on Eve's leg during the scene at Paul's house.
It was great to get the main characters in a room together.
In another interview with Jodie she says she was happy to finally get a scene with Carolyn and her
together as they had never had one with just the both of them, great location at Royal Albert Hall London.
Of course the bridge scene was as I had imagined and hope Laura does a great job in S4.
As a side note in the Bitter Pill office the music when she meets the staff I'm sure was an instrumental
version of Babushka, the Kate Bush song which I adore.
Some people were disappointed by this series but I felt it had character development to set up S4.

I'm glad you shared same feelings about the end, like I also was happy with the end. Villanelle is into Eve since the beginning but Eve's feelings have evolved so much from curiosity, denial, fixation, love... A final like this gives me hope that next season can be cool, can't be right away the original hunter and pray... Or not just now. Sounds like they could work or share more episodes next season and get closer, never like playing house, but with their distinct kind of love.

E8 was truly a masterpiece in all aspects, the only downside was my allergy hit me partway into the episode and my damn nose and eyes would run every now an then. OMG I was waiting all day yesterday for your reaction video, cuz its like literally the highlight of my week. I was talking to you on twitter monday about when during the dance they were awkward and then they BOTH leaned into each other. I payed attention, and I think I saw the moment when your soul left your body!haha Watching the ep. again through your videos, it still gives me all the same feels as when watching it the first time. Their chemistry is just so amazing. They can give just a single glance or make one small movement and it can mean SO MUCH.
I also didn't catch it the first time, but when they are back to back Villianelle leans back into her and takes a deep breath ( just maybe a little scared it might be their last time? ) I could be wrong, but just that moment..ugh! And I loooove that it was Eve who turned around first. I was yelling at the tv so much at this point I thought OMG, Eve is gonna turn around and Villianelle is gone. (because they usually like to torture our poor souls while we wait for the next season!) THANK GOD that didn't happen. But I think, in that moment, Villianelle waited extra long before she turned back because if Eve was still there that would be the ONLY person, knowing every bad thing she's ever done, who sees her as a real person with good in her, and NOT walk out of her life. Every single person Villianelle was 'close to' never cared about her, they just used her as a human weapon and threw her away. So to have Eve turn back first was SO BEAUTIFUL. And the little smirk on Villianelle's face as she turns. I DIED.

GREAT symbolism from the writers (director?) too. Did you notice where Eve & Villanelle met at the end? (7:01) They met in the centre of Tower Bridge (London), on either side of the join.
Tower Bridge is a bridge which separates and opens, the mechanism of which is known as a 'bascule'. Bascule is French for a 'balance'. Now, Eve and Villanelle have been on opposite banks if you like, throughout this whole show. Good and evil , them and us, psycho and normal if you wish.
Just like the two halves of Tower Bridge, Eve and Villanelle have been closing together and in this episode, you can see that the bridge is balanced and the two actually meet, joined precisely at the centre, equal and on a par. Villanelle has gained empathy, a need for human affection, and Eve has toughened the fuck up, ceased to be a doormat, and is fighting for want SHE wants out of life.(Cool, eh - nice writing, guys!)
So, chin up, Villanevers, they've actually met on the very same bridge together (progress!).
I know Season 4 is a looooong way awayz, but there's something now to look forward to. I wonder if in Season 4 they'll continue with the bridge symbolism?

Yeah, that ending is way better than a kiss would have been, and I just realized how surprised Eve was when Villanelle told her to turn around. (also Villanelle is taller than Eve)
The song they used when Carolyn had a gun to Konstantin's head is the same song they played when Bill "got mugged at a club" in 1x03 which made me think "oh, Konstantin's gonna die now" which is just clever, and also they killed Kenny in the first episode of this season, and Carolyn had a close call so I really thought that Konstantin was over.
(Villanelle was also wearing big heeled boot and Eve wears flats almost exclusively. They are only 3 inches apart in height.)

I don't believe Konstantin because we saw when Eve threw the cake over the rail that the edges on that rooftop are wayyyyy too high to just stumble over the edge on. They were up to her armpits. He couldn't have just fallen while walking backwards.
I haven't gone back to verify this, but I think Eve was bent over the edge, making it about her waist height, and Kenny's a bit taller than her.

Appearing on TH-cam are 12 new monologues by Alan Bennett (wrote The Lady in the Van) who is widely held as one of the greatest of Britain's playwrights at the present time. When they were first aired on the BBC in 1987 they were immediately hailed as a masterpiece. They've just been re-filmed again for the BBC with a new cast and with some additional monologues. They are 30 to 40 minutes long. The first one, "A Lady of Letters" stars Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter). Jodie is in "Her Big Chance", Harriet Walters (Dasha) in "Soldiering On" and Martin Freeman (Sherlock and the 1st series of Fargo on Netflix) is in "A Chip in the Sugar". Jodie plays an actress speaking about an audition she's getting, not realising it's for a porn film. There's no real action in these films and the characters don't interact with anyone else although their location may change. In each, the character simply speaks to the camera. Whether they're suitable for a Reaction video or not is doubtful, but I do urge you to take a look at them for your own entertainment. These are amazing actors performing wonderful material. Jodie says it's one of the most difficult things she's ever done.

Best ending definitely. Like Eve said in E4, "Choices, it's all about choices." I think Villanelle was always gonna turn around, and not 100% sure that eve would do the same thing.But she was willing to take the risk to set Eve free. For Eve, she chose Villanelle over a normal life. That's love, so romantic, even better than a kiss.
I liked this episode but overall, I was really frustrated with this season. Constant death fake outs, muddled storylines, and more time spent on inconsequential characters than on the core relationship of the show.
Geraldine played a version of the same scene over and over again and it was exhausting to watch. Eve was sidelined to a degree that damaged the show, and her character seemed to regress until the show remembered that Eve is the title character and brought her back. The show has pulled punch after punch. Carolyn gets shot at point blank range but GOTCHA she’s not! Niko takes a pitchfork to the neck but GOTCHA he’s alive! Konstantin has a dramatic heart attack but GOTCHA he’s alive! They do this so much that I knew Konstantin wouldn’t get shot at the end. It’s just so disappointing that I can’t feel the same excitement for the show that I had for Season 1.
On the positive side, Villanelle got a lot to do and Jodie will get the Emmy for the Pinner episode.
Villanelle and Konstantin owned this season. Eve being sidelined with her journey and issues resulting from killing someone and getting shot were only ever addressed on a surface level and didn't dig deep enough while Villanelle's got the most depth, care and attention. Once again, Eve the title character languished in the shadow of Villanelle.
I think Suzanne Heathcote stepping down as showrunner and Laura Neal taking over will really benefit season 4. The show and the characters are so strong that Suzanne couldn't really hurt it but her writing isn't really that great. Plus she said she could totally envision a season 4 without Eve and Villanelle. Wtf? Laura wrote ep 3, 7 & 8 this season so I really think her ownership of season 4 is going to be great. Fingers crossed.

I love it this season, maybe not up to the top of season 1, but really good season, if you pay attention to the little details and clues that they drop on each episode since season 1, you notice how well defined are all characters background since the beginning, they are not changing things on the run.

Of all the Bitter Pill staff, Bear is the only one I would love to see pop up again in S4. He’s the only one that actually contributed to the storyline in any significant way this season - and he’s fun comic relief.

Matryoshka dolls made up of Russian heads of state is a great idea. We learned Kenny was the thieving bastard of his office. Love unfamiliar characters meeting like Villanelle with the Bitter Pill staff. This is the most observant we have seen Villanelle of other people, they can be interesting to her. She admires Carolyn and seemed turned on in that scene.
The impact of that ending! The emotion...the romance wow season 4 villaneve! What a rollercoaster & development of characters this season. My thoughts are that the 12 won’t ever let villanelle live her life so I predict season 4 will be them working as a couple to take the 12 down! Moment to say how immense was Carolyn in this episode 👏🏻
So we hold our breath for S4... The Twelve must be really pissed. Konstantin stole their funds, Villanelle killed all the wrong people, Eve is a thorn in their side, Caroline shot their mole... I think a lot of people are really going to have to cooperate going forward if they are to survive.
I'm sure Dasha will revive - she is just delightfully, old school nasty.

Laura Neal who was on of the co-writers for Season 3 will take over as Lead Writer for Season 4, so expect more of the same! Great reactions, roll on Season 4! I for one do not think that Dasha is dead! In addition, people seem to very much underestimate Carolyn. On one hand how did she know about Helene and V's real name (please tell me if I have forgotten). On the other hand, Carolyn is an ex field agent who is now head of the Russian Office MI6 British Intelligence! She probably knows or suspects much more than we are led to believe.
No one underestimates Carolyn at all. But she is unpredictable and people theorise that she's one of the Twelve.
I am so glad that you are hosting this online you are great I've seen a few and I didn't bother getting back to killing Eve everything you said God I felt but there's a but when they left that you have to remember villanelle is wanted by the 12 that woman I don't know her name am I feeling which I can be so wrong is that someone is going to get hurt and we are going to see more intense love for each other I might be wrong but it left it wide open for someone to get hurt physically I hope I'm wrong cuz I would rather they walked back to each other hold each others hands and give each other a kiss okay I thank you I subscribed I want to watch anything that you are hosting online cuz you do a great job you should go for podcast take care

You say about where their feelings have come from but in episode 1 if the show that Eve had a 'thing' for female assassin's, even if given in a joking manner, showing that Villanelle was not the first she had been interested in, even if she wasn't aware why she had the interest
