Season 3 was so different. In 1 and 2 it was all about them being focused on chasing each other. Season 3 was where they both needed to grow individually. Eve needed to accept her darkness and completely give up on Nico, while V needed to face her childhood trauma. The finale was so good, I was crying and smiling like an idiot😭☺️ especially during the dance scene and at the end when V rested her head on Eve’s before walking away from the only person she loved
How human has Villanelle become this season tho. A complete 180 from season 2, not wanting to kill anymore, giving Eve the option to leave instead of manipulating and shooting her. This show 😍

The dancing scene where V says "I've killed so many people, Eve" and Eve just replies with "I know", she doesn't judge her, she's the only person who's sees and understands the real Villanelle... ❤️😔

eve hated villanelle for walking away but it's exactly what villanelle needed to do. and I understand why eve felt so hurt because they were in a place were they truly loved eachother but they still had more stuff to do individually and hence in S4 when they reunite the love is there to stay

I think killing her mom, who caused her all that childhood trauma in a way helped her get rid of her demons, a closure of sorts.
