- These are the motorcycle hand signals used by motorcycle riders to tell other drivers what they are doing. Use these motorcycle hand signals on group rides to stay safe and let the other riders know what is happening. Motorcyclists use hand signals to signal left turn, right turn, stop, slow down, speed up, and pass. They are simple hand signals.

The "peace sign" or whatever U wanna call it is for all motorcyclists. Not just Harleys. Your bikes may sound bad ass, but that doesn't make you super special. Only a little special. Lol jk. All bikes are equal.

Two fingers down when passing another bike means "keep two wheels on the road." It's not just for Harley guys. It's meant to be a safety type thing or whatever but I think it's just a hello at this point. Too many wheelie riders these days. Wish I could. LoL! It's a universal thing. The others are good though. Concise and to the point.
Yeah. I saw a guy in my rearview mirror doing a wheelie for a couple of miles the other day. It’s a lot safer for everybody if we keep both wheels on the ground.

everyone and their mother does the so called harley sign. Sometimes the hand signals can be distracting at time when in traffic. i hate to ignore people but sometimes u have to go on the situation.
Yeah. I went 5 years without a car, riding a Harley Sportster every day of the week, and it's kind of tiring to wave back at everyone on your way to work every day, but it's good for overall biker brotherhood.
One of the unwritten rules about the biker wave is that you don't do it if you can't do it safely. For example, you're making yourself look bad if you're trying to do it going round a corner or while you should be braking.
Around here folks tend to nod if they can't do the wave.
The worst thing though is waving at somebody only to realize that they're riding a moped, or worse, a scooter. That does anger the biker gods, so don't do that.

Even on my little Honda monkey bikers giving the the so called Harley sign so I give it back, I’m a newbie so I could care less if they get mad. Smd old farts respect all bikes,

The two fingers is not reserved only for Harley’s. It means keep both tires on the ground and is for all bikers

In the uk you do a right turn with your right hand, same goes for slowing down/pass, and never use your legs expect for keeping your feet on the pegs.

That’s crazy. I would think you would want to keep your throttle hand on the throttle at all times. It makes sense for bicycles though.

Verifying two finger sign..I'm riding a Piaggio MP3 500 scoot scoot and a Harley guy crept up slightly past me this morning, gave me the signal then jetted never to be seen again. Either he was saying hey bud respect 2 wheels or he was saying get a Harley lamer. I passed my MSS course section with a perfect score, riding a Harley, so it's all good.
You never know exactly what it means. Most Harley people are pretty cool, so he was probably just saying hello

I think I'm in trouble. No harley here and I've been doing the Harley sign, (2 fingers pointed down) When somebody wave at me. and they usually use the same sign!

Bought my first motorcycle in the U.S a few days ago and been seeing other riders do the "peace" sign. Didnt want to do it back as i thought it could be some sort of biker gang thing and didnt want to get beat up. 😂😂😂

The only thing HARLEY DAVIDSON about the peace sign signal is they both start doing it to greet each other while riding.. But if HD owns the right of peace sign greeting they should act like PEACEFUL HIPPIES instead of A-HOLES :D

Jesus christ, why can't a left turn simply be pointing left and a right turn be simply pointing right? Nobody is gonna know what the crap these signals mean unless they search them themselves.

In the UK, the rules state that for turning right you extend your right arm out. Seems whoever made the rules never rode a bike. Should I follow the rules and use arm signals I will find myself coming to a stop before I've even reached the turn. I suppose I could practice holding the accelerator with my left hand :-)
That’s crazy. Maybe those rules were made before motorcycles, when everybody just rode bicycles.

The biker salute can me two things, one is the universal 'Harley' symbol even tho I give it to sport bikes and sport bikes gave it to me (I ride on the back of my dad's bike). It also can mean keep both wheels down as in don't do wheelies. You usually only see the biker salute on Harleys but you can be that one sport bike that gives it to any biker, I also have gave it to a few little kids on bicycles
It's universal. I ride a 2009 Honda V star classic. 2 fingers to the ground is not a Harley sign, it's to salute the other rider and tell him to keep 2 wheels on the ground. Just like having a bell on your bike is not universal it's for all of us.

I have a hand signal I use ALOT, when I see a HD license plate on a truck being driven by someone trying to pass themselves off as some sort of half ass motorcyclist, I give them a vigorous thumbs down!! 😎😎🏍

I think that would be the one I did at the end, doing a circle in the air with my finger. But I've also seen that used for cops coming the other way.
Doing a circle in the air is typically the sign to start the bikes. Which is important if you've got a large number of bikes that you need to get started when riding as a large pack.
nice video, but how are you going to say something about the "devil" then refer to motorcycle gods as if you believe in Hindu or Paganism? I myself am part of a Native American tribe based out of Missouri. So my belief system contains gods and goddesses. No argument im just confused and am asking a question I dont want to start some bullshit Internet crap over religion. Its an endless and the most non agreed on thing in the world. Im an extremely open person and dont judge people based on personal views religion ect. So try not to judge me for asking a touchy question. Thanks
