- Xpeng has officially announced the pricing for its latest model, the Mona M03, now available in China. Unveiled in June, this new electric vehicle marks Xpeng's entry into the more affordable segment of the electric vehicle market. Priced from 119,800 yuan, which is approximately 16,800 U.S. dollars, the Mona M03 offers an accessible option for those looking to experience electric mobility without breaking the bank.
Despite its budget-friendly price tag, the Mona M03 is packed with impressive features. It boasts the lowest drag coefficient of any sedan currently in production, enhancing its aerodynamic efficiency. Under the hood, the base model is powered by a 51.8 kilowatt-hour battery pack that drives a single electric motor, delivering 188 horsepower. While the battery may be on the smaller side, this version of the Mona M03 offers a respectable range of 320 miles, or about 515 kilometers, according to Chinese standards.
Moving up the range, there is a mid-tier model priced at 129,800 yuan, or roughly 18,200 U.S. dollars. This version features a larger 62.2 kilowatt-hour battery and a more powerful 215 horsepower motor driving the front wheels. This upgrade boosts the vehicle's range to 385 miles, or about 620 kilometers. The top-of-the-line 580 Max model, priced at 155,800 yuan, equivalent to 21,850 U.S. dollars, offers a 360-mile (580-kilometer) range.
Inside, the Mona M03 is minimalist but well-appointed. All versions come with a panoramic glass roof and an 18-speaker sound system. The centerpiece of the interior is a large touchscreen display, similar to what you would find in a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y. For an additional 599 yuan, or 84 U.S. dollars, buyers can opt for a second screen behind the steering wheel.
Following its June unveiling, Xpeng received over 10,000 orders within just 52 minutes. With pricing now public, demand is expected to soar even further.

Crazy prices
I hope they bring it to Australia looks great would sell really well if it has a good price tag
This looks like a very good rival against Aion ES. Between the two, I will definitely take this Mona 3. Looks good, decent quality interior with soft touch surfaces and doesn't look or feel cheap like Japanese or Koreans offerings at economy category. I welcome the Chinese cars to the market.
Queste auto mi affascinano
About 500 km range is sufficient. A small battery EV is lighter car (more efficient), charges faster and is much cheaper. Xpeng's focus on a high energy efficiency sedan is excellent. Is it giga pressed?? The Mona M03 price looks like game changer to me. Next Xpeng development: integrated solar panels (more important than auto pilot), cooperate with Aptera. For inwheel motors consult Protean (IMHO) and invest in Niron (Nitride Iron) 'rare-earth-elements-free' super magnets.
Definitely get the extra screen behind the steering wheel
Too big. Not buttons. Try again.
