    I like the rod and reel matched up. The red on red looks really good.

    Looking forward to the review. I picked up a Gekkabijin Air AGS casting model recently and I am impressed. Thought about the 68L-T also but did not pull the trigger. Agreed, not a bluegill rod, I plan to use it for bass.

    Another one for the books, my friend! I caught my 1st big white bass (2-3# class) in numbers. It was a small river called the Tippecanoe River below Lake Shaffer in central Indiana! They have a small 5 to 8 turbine damn/spillway from the lake to the ruvers head, and let me tell you there are big stripers and wipers there however the whitebass there were huge! In the lake during the run of the white bass, it was awesome to see them surround the pods of shad, and when they attack they blow the shad about 1-2' out the water!! Its like someone throwing a hand fl of quarters in the lake! They quickly became a target species of mine. And coincidencally enough, i found the crappies (black and white both) would be spawning also. So you would hit the whitebass aggressively at 1st, then you could follow after the whites moved or went thru and cast your trout magnets behind the school and pound the big crappies that were or seemed to be following the whites/shad schools!! What a great time it was during that time of year. But for me hands down, the best river ive found for big whitebass. Sorry so long of a story, however one of my best memories of chasing schools of whites with jdm equipment. Ofcourse i do not use LiveScope currently so finding the schools were fun, sight fishing or chasing the schools of shads,looking for next 3lb+ whitebass, exploding shad out of the waters.

    • @russellhill7270
      @russellhill7270 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also the channel cat fish seemed to be schooled or close to the others when they were chasing. So jdm equipment was a blast

    • @russellhill7270
      @russellhill7270 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh forgot to mention all the big crappies I caught were on the lake side of the damn, not the river side lol. The big cats were below the damn hanging out below the whites.

      I have similar observations like you... but TN can be surprisingly hard to find fish sometimes... even right now, i have no idea where exactly they are spawning..

    I have a Vanford question. I just got a Vanford C2000 HG F. It was rough. You could hear it as I turned the reel handle and it felt like there was little to no grease inside. I returned it. I'm still wanting to get one, but what model C2000 would actually be best for ultra lite fishing and where in the world do you buy them from. Every place I've looked for one in America has the HG models! Having never bought from Japan (yet) I'm not too sure which vendors to trust. Can you return stuff to Japan? If yes, is it costly? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. THANK YOU!

    • @ifishcatfish

      2000 is the perfect size for float fishing. But 1000 is almost the same, just spool is a little smaller

    Victor …I saw in previous comment where u mentioned new stock this week to your store …will you be adding bg1 size 10 hook..?…..1 gram

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  หลายเดือนก่อน

      no, 1G#10 will come late may. Next week is coming my ECOLITE series haha : ). They are made using the 1 gram mold and 1.25 gram molds, but are made from non lead alloy and weigh 0.6 and 0.75 gram respectively. The 0.6 gram will be in size 12 hook and 0.75 gram will be size 10 hook, so if u want a size 10 hook, u can use that. U can use it even with the floats, using some new kind of weights i have prepared. No splitshots!

      Thanks Victor ..that will work for me ….i just received the bg1 jigs from you in 1.5 gram size 10 ….they have changed my fishing for ever …I got blue gill and crappie and a few bass ….way more fish than normal …I have every lure and jig under the sun and the bg1 leaves them all in the dust. …..your jig worked so good .i did not need to walk around the lake searching for good spots …nearest spot to my house produced a fish or a bite every 2nd or 3rd cast ….never happened like this before….one question ..if I am fishing crappie and bass ,,,,especially the bass ….is the bg1 size 10 hook big enough I am using trout magnets and trimmed crappie magnets …I ask as Randy in his last video mentioned daiwa jig in size 8 and 6 …..I did see your comment as to how bg1 is more preferred as it fits trout magnet easier…..so wondering if bg1 is meant to also handle bass ..thanks again
