I feel like Hofri Ghostforge is a great include in Phlage since he basically doubles the non-escaped trigger and works well with blink strategies (if you go that route).
Red copy creature affects would work, same way I run my etali deck, like flame shadow conjuring, mirror march, splinter twin, etc. You can really abuse the etb

Haha I love how you took reading this comment as another reason to gush about it. Yeah you don't need to sell me on it! It's much cooler than it looks at first glance. I'd love a boros control deck in my collection
On the subject of blinking, Another Round can be disgusting with Phlage. I run it in my Samwise Gamgee deck and when you dump enough mana into it during the late game, you will get SO many triggers. It's mana-intensive to be sure so not super useful early game, but in a deck that is ETB centric, it's pure gas.
Abdel Adrian goes infinite without using the graveyard. You need to combine him with other blink sources though. Eldrazi Displacer is probably the best one, but Resto and others will do the job as well.
My personal tech for Phlage are; Celestine from 40K because it will ressurect Phlage at end step, and Galadriel dismissal to stop Phlage being sac'd by its own effect. Also waiting for that haystack from Assassin's Creed set 👀
Oh man I wish I could. Im about to get slammed with MH3 stuff that I gotta film. But it is a cool commander and theres a lot of small nuanced choices you can make with her.
Would you consider adding a card like Galadriel's Dismissal to your list? Ive been looking to include it more broadly in my boros decks. What do you think?
yeah absolutely. Great protection spell. You may have to cut something fun for it, but just as a reference point my strong aurelia deck runs like 10 protection spells. The value of keeping your stuff alive is immense.
@@DracoMagna Yes that is correct. Yeah it is a lot, but keeping stuff alive in that deck means you win the game....usually. I havent looked at the list in a while, so it may be possible to cut 1 or 2 for other things, but the idea should hold true.
@@DracoMagna Aurelia is a big target, and feast and famine or AA are as well. Also people just like to spend removal on voltron decks so it sort of just became necessary.
OG Purphuros, impact tremors, and witty roastmaster seem good if you're already running damage doublers. Also didn't see Ojer Axonil in the damage increasers page, has to be good if you go the punisher route. Looking forward to seeing you play this guy! 😁
in my experience, you want to run ojer OR dmg doublers/increasers since they dont work nice together. your opponent gets to choose which doubler deals damage to them first so if you have something like furnace of rath and ojer on the board, dealing 2 damage to the opponent will always result in 4 damage (double the 2 damage, then check if it is less than ojer's power). even with phlage, this will always result in 6 dmg since you just double the damage first and then check if its lower than ojers power. to run ojer properly, you will need power incresers (like equipments) and in that case it requires too much setup pieces to synnergise well with dmg doublers. however, you can still run ojer as an extra "doubler" effect in case you expect your other sources to be removed always consistently, just be prepared for ojer to be a "dead card" if you already have such an effect in play or become one if you draw something that doubles damage.
I had considered Ojer but just left it off the slide cause I wasnt exactly sure how good it would be, since you probably need to pump it a little to really get good benefit from it...and now you're talking multiple steps that need to happen, when you could just drop a tripler instead :)

In terms of filling your graveyard, i can’t believe you didn’t mention mesmeric orb!
Oops, big miss right there. I did feel like i was missing something there.
@@CommanderReplay and its always something staring you right in the face too lol
Sword of h&h does double duty here being a combo piece with the aurelia that you already want in the deck too!

Oh yeah didnt think about infinite blink loops. Probably more of a 99 in that deck kind of situation tho as it might be tough to setup for this deck.

Been thinking about hush ringer effects so you get a 6/6 for 3 mana that also bolts early game
Can’t wait to play Phlage in my Quintorious List
It should be real good.
Any plans to revist Aurelia the Law Above and any tweaks to the list?

@@CommanderReplay is that the savage aurelia deck? 10 protection spells seems like a lot. Is that because you need to protect aurelia?

Any plans to build Three Dog, Galaxy News DJ? He seems like a busted bros baddie.
I dont think its on magic online....i coudl be wrong, but im pretty sure its not.
nah best phlage deck is a deck full of infinite mana combos
Uro is stacked better imo
Yeah but its the wrong colors.
I don't think anyone will argue that Uro is the better titan, but this is a video about Phlage, not Uro....
