Beautiful old graveyard. It's as if someone went helter-skelter through the graveyard one night tipping headstones over at very specific angles. Yes we've seen this before but this place seems to really excel in bizarre stone placements. Going inside the one masoleum - it was nice not to see bones all scattered around and disrespected. I liked that the stone slabs were placed on top of each grave so they would not be disturbed. Well placed plaques were a lovely way to remember them too.
Yes GV i like the older graves better you can get so much history from them..Shame so many broken ones but this was so interesting..Great job my friend 😘
I was after wondering how you both met& whos idea it was to visit graveyards,.? Love the places myself,so peaceful& so many interesting gravestones to read❤
Yeah that grass is nice and spongey to walk on and deadly to ankles at the same time 😂. Definitely cool Inside the old building. Brilliant video. And the next time yee are in Gorey I insist on making you both lunch
What a beautiful cemetery as always all are so special and I love the walks and readings and I really love the stone walls that surround the grounds. I think of of the hands and backs of those who built with with such care and love. Thanx GV.❤😊❤😊
Such a shame about the fallen headstones, not to mention potentially dangerous too!! I wonder what causes the headstones to collapse?! Please be careful when exploring/looking into dark mausoleums!! Your safety is paramount!!🙏🙏 Thanks for yet another EXCELLENT video, GV!! XXXX ❤💞🤗👏👍
In these older cemeteries, if they don't want to take a mower to the place they should get in touch with a local farmer to see if he would let some of his sheep trim the grass - in the walled ones of course.
Relaxing and learning with G.V.... always refreshing! Makes me feel glad to be alive... and I can do this... just like all the people who have lived before me!!!
That crypt seemed restless. Didn't hear whispers, but there was a lot of that glitchy static. The lawn looks lovely plush, wish we had nice grass like that here in Texas.
Were they spiritual voices at around 6:44 ? Loved the idea of the bat box ( the bats would crawl up the textured panel into the opening under the box). Lovely little graveyard.
I like it and it's so true when you say, "Thank you for your service."👍 Another fine video. The history and scenery is breathtaking. Thank you. All the best to you M8. Warren Reddaway.
Interesting graveyard, sad to see it overgrown. The burial vault is particularly interesting. Hopefully, a trust group will come in before long, and get this place back into shape. Great video, thank you very much GV and Sue. Have a great weekend 😀
There were 2 Nathaniels in the Taylor crypt GV. I enjoyed wading through all the grass to discover the wonders of this place. Thank you! Take care and stay safe. Deb of Oz XXX
Loved this video, thank you for not playing music like so many do. They always make it so loud that you can't heat the narrator speak! I just love your videos keep up the good work!
Hi GV just viewed your video, I liked where the old headstones are taken over by nature. The moreseliume where the tree was must be strong. Great video GV.
Yes, that is a bat box om the Taylor crypt. It's good to see someone cares for the safety of the bats. That roof looks dangerous to the bats. So a house was put up. The bats enter from the back of the long board hanging down. There is a small slit opening for them.
G'day GV, @ 9:35 (EVP)After speaking of Bill Shanrahan I could hear A low gravelly voice although I was unable to decipher what was spoken, I've also heard short murmurings in this episode as well but very fleeting & dis-jointed, these dearly departed souls do like to follow you on your walks through The Olde Graveyards, perhaps they sense your calm and good nature therefore feeling at ease & endeavoring to commune with yourself & Sue while you both navigate the headstones, just a thought? A lovely jaunt indeed, Thank You for sharing the stones & mausoleum at Ballinure, most interesting... Kindly, Shane🪦👍👍
Under the miniature mausoleum you called it. Time stamp 2210. Looks like a little boy. It is quick cause of the flashlight. I had to go back several times to when light it right. Eyes rolled back. Saw face only.
I understand some people like the old cemeteries left to long grass, etc.but it would make it very dangerous for family members to get around with rises and dips on the grounds obscured. And how can they find the gravestones and vaults all covered up with plants and grass?
Ein tolles Video. Ich wollte Euch beiden nur sagen, das ihr nicht alleine in der Gruft von Nathalien wart. Es sind Störgeräusche zu hören als wenn euch jemand was sagen wollte. Schon Krass
It almost looks like you found a consolidated family vault. I note that the gravel on the base is not full of black muck. It seems some care was taken and still is.
I love looking at old graves and wondering who those people were when they were alive. I wonder what they were known for, if they were good or bad people, just anything. I love how you can look under old stones without worrying about poison snakes. Here in Georgia, you have to be careful ;O
@GraveVisitations The long piece of wood is used by the bats to climb up and through the tiny slit at the bottom of the box itself, as if they are climbing the stairs to bed! It can not be stated enough just how tiny bats are. They will be able to get through that small slit easily and out again at night. The pipistrelle bat is Britain's smallest. Smaller than the smallest bird!
Leaving an old Graveyard untouch is the best way to preserve the old gravestones and Mausoleums cutting grass and trimming bushes will do more damage to the graveyard accidents with a mower hitting a grave or trimming a tree a limb falling the wrong way hitting an old gravestone looks like to me Mother nature is doing a fine job preserving the old graveyard Again there would be more harm than good cleaning up old graveyards ... Great Video Mr and Mrs GV I just love it when you poke around looking inside the old mausoleums and open vaults and graves I know i would do it in a millisecond if i had the chance take care enjoy your Sunday
Any other FOTF members watch sue and GV, spread the word to others about these fantastic videos produced by these two. There missing out if there not subscribed.
Was it just me or did it sound like something tapping your phone when you were in the mausoleum? I always imagine what it was like back in the 1700s and 1800s when these people were alive.
Please give the video a thumbs up 👍 thank you 💚
Did those stone walls built with cement or just laid on top of each other? Great video ❤
@@user-op6eu3tt9j no idea ha
I’ll bet if they stick a few sheep or goats in there, they would take care of that grass, and probably the ivy too I would imagine.
I have to say the long thick grass is so green and beautiful
What I see is true beautiful grass, not weeds as we have in so many places here in America. I watch you all the time. Thank you for your videos!
Big. Thumbs. Up.
Another instant classic, beautiful countryside scenery. Quaint Graveyard too, superb Cathal and Sue
Many thanks!

To think many of our ancestor may have walked into that cemetery, thank you for sharing!
Lovely old place. I like the mix of old and new. Thanks for going in the vault. It told a family's story that we never would have known.
Very tragic loss such a young woman
Such a shame about the fallen headstones, not to mention potentially dangerous too!! I wonder what causes the headstones to collapse?!

Thank you for all the hard work you put into bringing these to us! Again thank you!!😊😊
Alot of farmers put their sheep in graveyards to graze and keep the grass down.
Hello, i like it when you point things out thank you for sharing its another great video 📹

Well I must admit that was the first time I have laughed when watching a Grave Visitation site thanks to the hearse driving past. Well done!

Nature definitely protecting it Stephen
Beautiful stone fence ❤
You called it a “flashlight” and not a torch! 😮
Someone cuts those hedges. What a strange contrast to the rest of the wilding place. 💚💚 🇮🇪
Same thing really lol

Hello O Brien & Mc Curdy & Mc Caffery family
My best friend is from there Her surname is Corbet and I was listening to hear if you came across any of her relatives.
Popular name in tipperary
thanks GV another interesting watch
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great video!!
Thank you Laura appreciate your kindness

I don't think so ha
When you said "So that is her plaque" on 6:30 a voice can clearly be heard saying something
It's a long, long way to Tipperary!! ❤
Im from Australia, but my ancestors are from Tipperary, the Mcclellands xx
Watching from Perth AU. I love these videos. Does that make me weird?
Not at all lots of people love the history etc
Beautiful grave. Yard.

Yes, that is a bathhouse. They get in from the bottom.
Thank you both very much Takecare 💙❤️
Thanks so much
Money is the reason why the grass is unkempt. No funds coming in apparently.
Oh how do you know that sylvia?
Glad i caught this😊
Idol g.v Sana SA u.s.cemetery naman😊😊😊😊
Wasn't there a time when rugby was played at Croke Park, GV? Is it still played there?
They play rugby, soccer etc in new stadium called the Aviva. Croke park is used more for hurling and Gaelic Football
Many were buried with rings and things. Grave robbers were bad bag then. It was a hard life for the poor.
I understand some people like the old cemeteries left to long grass, etc.but it would make it very dangerous for family members to get around with rises and dips on the grounds obscured. And how can they find the gravestones and vaults all covered up with plants and grass?

The weather over there been fair? We've had a bit a bad storms lately.
Hope it's Ben n Jerry's lol weather here is dry and overcast
The graveyard is beautiful but the vandalism is sinful.

The young mother in the mausoleum perhaps died from infection after unsanitary birthing of her baby. Common in those days.
It IS a bat box!!
Very small looking entrance to bat box
That's what I thought too
