Simple but sweet a cross just as great as a large headstone.so sad about the water seeping in hopefully the coffins wouldn’t be too damaged. Sorry I didn’t watch your chat ,bit early for me will watch it later godbless from ballarat in Oz,😴👏🙏🇦🇺
That looked hard going under foot . Thank you for risking your ankles to make another great video with lots of history . I do enjoy yours & Serenity Sue's videos so much x
A beautiful graveyard. I do hope it will be kept cut dow. I think so since there are newer graves.i do so enjoy enjoy the video and walks. And reading the stones. You and Sue make sure they are remembered.❤😊❤😊
Another amazing explore! Love all the stories & history here! Always love when you are able to get a peak into the old mausoleums and crypts! So amazing! Thank you for another great video GV! God Bless ♥️🇨🇦🇮🇪♥️
Great tour, crypt was amazing the brick was beautiful. Sad the coffins all broken but I guess we’d assume wood would just rot. Lots of nice iron crosses too. Love the history, great job GV 💕
I adore you and serenity sue ❤️ I adore walking around graveyards, you both show so much respect,I love how you take the time to read the gravestone, please come to Glasgow we have an awesome necropolis im 46 I've never been 🙈
The old crypt with the alter was so beautiful. Excellent find under all that nature 👍. The scenery and Cork look absolutely stunning and definitely on my bucket list for a visit. Thank you for another wonderful video 🙏
Many thanks to you and Sue for another tour. My late Aunty Eileen came from Ireland, she was born in Wicklow. God bless you both and may the sun shine upon you always.
I always appreciate it when you arrange for murky weather when you are exploring curious old cemeteries. Be careful I don’t want to see you drop in uninvited to someone’s coffin!
Beautiful old graveyard, GV, and looked difficult to make your way around because of those mounds. Also interesting about Captain O'Neil. I am a flutist and enjoy playing Irish music, imvgoing to research his music, maybe I can learn something new to play.
@@GraveVisitations Have you heard of James Galway? He published a really nice Celtic music book for flutes, I practice it a lot. He's my favorite flutist and I wish I played as good as he!
The last crypt you examined was beautifully constructed. I was especially impressed with the niche built for Our Lady. As for old married couples, who follow each other to the grave, my dads mother and father were together over 60 years, and when grandpa died, grandma followed him within the year. ❤
That was a super tour GV, Thankyou so much, and how wonderful and thoughtful this church has been to,list the names of EVERYONE who has been buried there over the years!! I really commend them for doing that. I’ve often wondered about all the people who have been buried in my own church yard, and presumed that only the church warden would keep the record books for over the years. I “think” that unless a grave is upkept or has a stone, another burial can take place after 100 years, but I’m not entirely sure. This is a Church of England church. Love those old metal crosses, they seem to last forever , but I do feel sad for the tenants not able to have their Names inscribed on a stone…just bumps in the grass their..how sad.
Although i live in england and never been to ireland you and sue produce the best most interesting videos on youtube for these sort of videos so keep up the good work and cheers for sharing
On the last crypt before you focused in it looked like a face the dark bricks looked like eyes and the niche looked like the nose. Freaked me out for a minute. Cool old place. Shame the one was flooded.
I think I seen some footage with your Borescope in this video. You might be right, picture Quality looked a little dark and undefined but was a helpful idea. I'm sure their is a higher definition Borescope out there, you just need to look in to it before you purchase as they might be a little pricey. I don't know what tech. stores you have available near you folk's would carry an assortment of or brands to chose from. For sure check the features & optics before you decide. I think with the right tools can only help you out and give you more options for content may even make things easier for you both.
I just discovered you a few days ago. I Love your videos!! How do you find these cemeteries? I have some relatives buried in Cork, Ireland, John Gibbs, first Protestant mayor of Cork, Ireland. He and his brother are buried at an old church. Have yet to research where.
Hi Donna thank you. I do lots of research to find these places some are hard to find etc. If I'm ever around the area again I'd love to video his grave for you x. You can email me information. Or I'm on Instagram as grave Visitations also
I do believe that people can die of a broken heart. My dad passed away February 2008, my mum followed him in August of that year. They had been together over 50 years and went everywhere together. I really think my mum passed away of a broken heart.
My grandparents where Buckley St Ann's Rd gurranabraher we visited every summer beautiful city. I would love to find out where they were buried really enjoy this adventure thank you.
