Im in love with the 1000cc bikes on nitrous! They have 2 step, air shifters and everything. So cool to see. Also the 3 cyl snowmobile powered bikes are a smart idea, zero shifting.

We have sand a drag track in Grain Valley Missouri, but I haven't been. You may have inspired me to make a trip. Have seen similar rides at Glamis sand dunes as I used to go there a lot. Liked seeing the three wheelers. I still have my 200x and stretched 250R frame with a 750 in it. Used to run competition Hill. But they are more of a conversation piece in the hanger now. LOL. And the only riding I get to do now other than the side by side is the Arctic Cat quad that does most of the riding around the ranch.

I would suggest using 2-stroke snowmobile motor/clutching. There are 1000cc motors that are easy to get 150+ hp, very light weight. Looked like there may have been a few running that set-up
I love 4 strokes for the low end torque, but nothing beats a 2 stroke for pure power.
Why does everyone say 2 strokes don’t have low end torque?

At the same rpm they would have less torque, but if the two stroke has a lower gearing than the 4 stroke it would make up for it.

Rick Ferrier tracks are normally 300’ long. The times vary by machines but the majority filmed here run low To mid 3 seconds passes in that 300’

It looks like the two-strokes hook up better than the 4-strokes which seem to drift and snake around. I'm pretty sure I saw some 750 Suzuki 'water bottles' and maybe even a H2 750 triple amongst that lot?
