I swapped out my shift boot in my 16 wrx for a jpm coachworks leather one.. But the ebrake, I paid a guy at an auto upholstery shop, (luckily only a mile away from me) forty bucks to do the ebrake..i dont have a garage or place to do it inside and figured outside, pollen and other crap would stick..lol lame yes having to pay, but honestly after struggling to help a friend do his.. didn't mind paying! he went with the alcantara, I chose leather for easier cleaning/maintenance. either way this is a great way to add to the interior! if have means, worth paying for a professional to install the ebrake boot, as the new boot will be thicker material and snugger fit, causing install hick ups.
What do you guys daily drive? It looks like those cars stay in the garage but I can't imagine you show up to work in a camry when you have rally cars screaming to be let out.
These cars are used specifically for product testing. 98% of the time they are so torn apart you couldn't drive it if you wanted. :( We have probably the lowest mileage cars around. Our 2015 WRX is a very early build ( 2014 ) with only 2,700 miles on it.
I did these upgrades. But beware it is harder than you think. And the glue... It will work with the extension. You need to be careful cutting that hole for the button. Personally, I would just buy the pieces already done again. Goodluck.
I ordered the piano black shifter console. It's on the way, however my concern now is: 1. the seat heater switches when I remove the center console. Will these switches be affected? 2. The STi light wiring. Does the shifter console come with the outlet to plug it into. I noticed when you removed the console that there was wiring underneath it.
I noticed that Subispeed has the new piano black (2018 STi) shifter console. I really want to buy it, but I noticed that there is no installation video. Can I follow this video for the installation? If so, what about the wires underneath the console that you unplugged?
I have never had much luck with 3M spray. Done this twice for the brake boot and both times I used super glue along the edges to clean it up. That fabric is too thick for the shift boot also makes it a pain in the ass to put snap back in place. Looks great once in tho

You were smart!!!
You guys did a great job on the interior, those little things add up.
100 percent spot free clean also helps
That e brake looks amazing. I know what I'm ordering right now

Dude, I know right? I was wondering the same exact thing. The cars are always spotless.

Can you please do a video on the GCS bluetooth interior lighting kit for the 2015+ WRX?

How the heck do I remove that silver ring around the shifter? Do you need a tool?
Please do the same video for the WRX. The boot for the WRX is so small, I am afraid the fabric will tear.
Where can I get that si drive red cover?
Next project, change those windshield wipers lol!

Do you guys have a video for the STi reverse lockout swap/install?
Is this will collect dust easily?
jdm everything

Install should be pretty much the same.
I see, so the wires underneath are for the STi light. I get it. Thank you! I think I'll give it a go!

Is it possible to swap the round shift bezel into a wrx?
But this won’t fit the extended arm rest?
What seats are those
Can anyone tell me why the shift knob looks like it so much lower than a stock sti or wrx? Did you cut the shifter?
