We were just their this weekend for the annual burrow races. This is a an amazing place with so much history and so much to discover. I hope the town could be designated as a national landmark so it could be preserved.
Batman is definitely occupying Shaft 666 lol great video as always my friend, excellent camera work and use of music =) maybe one day we'll hear your beautiful narration voice
Hey, good to hear from you again Bryant. I live in Colorado now. Hopefully I'll get around to making a video on the Warlock Mine in San Diego county soon. Hope all is well. My narration voice sucks, so music is probably all you'll hear. Check out my rattlesnake wrangling video if you want narration, I GOT BIT. th-cam.com/video/jW-dMN3mk4E/w-d-xo.html
@@Mine-Finder wow, I was wondering, great move, I hear its beautiful out there, I might move my family out of San Diego next year, we'll see where the road leads us
Very Cool if you ever end up in Northern Nevada, look me up. We have lots of old ghost towns and mines. I would say any of them is as cool as Victor, though.
Thanks for the invite. I've been to several mines in the Nevada area. Still haven't made it to the haunted Horton Mine yet, which is on my bucket list. More on the Victor and Cripple Creek mines coming soon..
In WWII the government shut down all gold mines because they needed to mine for metals to build weapons like iron and tin etc. Some of them never reopened, but most were bought up by Cripple Creek and Victor Mining Company and consolidated into one huge mine. That mine is about ten miles long.
The first Vindicator crew photo is from my grandparents album, can you change the date to 1938? My grandfather is in that one and his paternal uncles are in the photo that follows.
Unfortunately I can't change that date since the video has already been published. I found that photo online, apparently the wrong year was printed on it. Thanks very much for the info.
great video
Watched several times, I see more every time I watch. Thank You.
This place is great. There are mines EVERYWHERE. Thanks for watching.

@@Mine-Finder Nice. The Horton mine is about 100 miles south of me. I was planning a trip down there, but the snow came early.
@@AdventureGlide Next time I'm in your state I'll look you up.
Great video mate. Is the original Carlton Portal still open? Asking for a friend 😉

I looked for it but never found it. Chances are it's gated.
Im wondering why all these mines closed
