True, but you cannot play a record on the move very easily, and it's more or less impossible whilst walking, so if you want an analogue playback, and something entertainingly retro, cassette is there. Agreed, though, when they fail, it's generally damaging to the medium.
I too agreed, Vinyl is still king, but there some decent cassette decks/hifi systems which will gives you 100% analog sound with anti tape eating mechanisms.

Nah,never liked tape.Tape getting caught in the machine,wrecked tape.Sooner stick with cd.Vinyl is still king imo
