Not my favorit blaster cause of the sideprime.
    Cool video.
The only thing, that looks interesting for me is the scope, just for the looks.
I shot a lot of darts with it, when i played with the kids at a family event. It is a good blaster for kids. They had a lot of fun.
    Please make more videos. :)

Ok, gotta say, love the look of the eaglepoint, scope looks great, barrel slick, love the whole revolver carbine vibe. The clips...not so much.
You said this could be modded, what can be gotten out of this really though?
Also love someone able to just enjoy the fun of a blaster and hearing that voiced is refreshing in the 3d printed obsessed hobby space.

So, what i did with another blaster was remove the AR, tightened the o-ring and stretched the spring to get a little more power from it. Also removed the dart posts so it can shoot half darts. Technically you can cut a couple of coils from a Kronos spring and it will fit, but be warned, the internal plastics are not made for it, so you need to cut the coil properly or you risk the internals breaking after a time due to the pressure on the spring.

Perhaps you should fire your blasters without the barrel extensions on. I always discard mine. Performance always outweighs appearance. 👍

Generally you are correct, especially with longer barrels like those found on the Longshot, Longstrike, Recon and Retaliator. The Eaglepoint however has such a small extension, the drop off is nominal compared to the aesthetic and accuracy gains (since its accuracy is poor with the barrel, you can only imagine without). There are some noteworthy exceptions. Nexus Pro-X, Deuce Pro and my Prophecy come to mind.

As soon as i can work on it. 😅
Was going to drop this one last week but between the Mrs. Tearing her miniscus, G-Rex being hospitalized and dealing with the death of a friend & coworker, I’ve been delayed. Any particular video you want?

When you're used to using 100fps blasters that cost several times more than this, it's obviously going to seem relatively slow, underpowered and inaccurate. But then you're not a 12 year old running round the house or a small garden with friends, shooting at each other at close range. People pushing Nerf to be an 'adult' hobby with higher performance and precision are a vocal minority... but it is already dividing the market and maybe even harming it. Those people should move on to airsoft, paintball or Rival, and leave foam blasters where they started out... as safe fun for kids. 🤔

While i agree with part of your statement, some of what you said is patently false.
Nerf Rival Vision was available for less than $20 and it hit the 100 FPS mark.
Dart Zone made the Conquest Pro that sold for 6 dollars more than this blaster and it exceeded the 100 FPS range.
While the hobbyists like myself do make up the minority of consumers and we are not the target market, a lot of us are parents and know a cash grab when we see one and calling it out should be encouraged, not scorned. Especially when, as a parent, I get to see the disappointment in my kid’s face when something he gets as a gift fails to live up to expectations.

@@SecondHandBlasters Unfortunately, Dartzone don't seem to sell outside of the USA, which pretty much invalidates their products in a global market. X-Shot are widely available, and represent good value... but they are widely criticised for the quality of their construction too. But obviously Rival, Hyper and Gelfire blasters simply aren't suitable for a lot of 'Nerfers'. They are aimed at a different audience. As for "cash grabs", setting up a commercial business is done to make money. Everyone wants a decent wage. Have you ever refused a pay rise? 😉 But little to no profits means no R&D (which brings us better products) and possibly no products at all, meaning less choice. Kid's expectations are often unrealistic, but giving the average 5 or 6 year old kid a 100fps blaster is probably a mistake. I do like your reviews, they are generally well balanced and I look forward to watching many more.
