Thanks my guy! I was underwhelmed with the darts performance, love the concept of the dart because they don’t feel as hard as Elite standards but go faster (in an unmodded blaster); but the execution was just.. so-so. But; i love that they are being innovative (in spite of them recycling the same blaster design o er snd over again). Personally, and this is just me as someone who wants Hasbro to be competitive against Dart Zone again, i would love to see a “black series”. The fan favorites that use standard darts but perform at 90-100 fps. Something that pushes the limits for an 8yo but can still hold up against the teenage geared Rival line. Kind of like a go between from “elite standard” and “pro”.

@@SecondHandBlasters Agreed. I'm still optimistic that we will see some type of "Pro Line" in the future. Hasbro needs something to compete with Dart Zone and appeal to the older nerfer. Rival was great for the older kids and I don't believe Hasbro will leave that market untapped for long, but we'll see. A Rapid Strike X would be awesome! 😎

If not this one, look up the Ward. Its the nightfinder of the N-series.

@@SecondHandBlasters ok, jus looked at it. While I do get excited to see this new line of blasters, it's a 2 shot blaster. Not that it's a problem, jus my boi likes to rain foam! Lol but hey, can we discuss that plunger tube size??!

Without a doubt the motors would be a worthy upgrade. If you were to do a cage upgrade, new motors and flywheel swap, you could easily hit the 150 FPS range and have a goofy time at an event. One of my favorite moments at an event was running a modified fortnite blue shock against 3d printed blasters. No one expected the blue shock to be full auto.

Between the Flyte and the Stormcharge? Stormcharge, 💯 and here is why: shell quality feels stronger in your hands. The magazine slides in and out more easily and the interchangeable stock attachment point is a huge bonus. Also, incase of a switch failure, it is easier to open up and fix as opposed to the Flyte. Now if i had to choose between Stormcharge and Motoblitz? Motoblitz wins. The blitzfire is just too much fun.

The motors are essentially the same.

Different strokes for different folks. For serious blasters, the berserker is good (i’ll be doing a review with mine soon). The Lock Blaster is for those who want the goofy fun.

​@@SecondHandBlasters Thanks. I actually ended up buying the X-Shot Ranger X8 today. It's basically a bigger version of the Berserko with a removable 'scope', and fewer darts. Best of all, it was exactly the same price as the Berserko. Still want a Lock blaster though! 😂

@@rynomatik4540luckily it just hit a couple of the solar panel parts and the mini shuttle that connects to them. Easy fix lol. Had it destroyed it, i would have probably cried.

Thank you as always! Yeah, it’s not for everyone, for sure. It’s big, goofy, badly designed but it manages to still be fun for certain limited things. It’s a shame there is no attachment point for a sling because it makes it useless as a secondary (shield breaker) and it is too large for a backup. But, as you will see from my paint guide, it does clean up and paint nicely.

Respectfully going to have to disagree with your assessment on the bolt actions. The bolt action setups in the Centurion, the Longshot, the Longstrike, the Fortnite Heavy SR, the Thunderhawk, the Raptorstrike; all of those have metal rods that go through the bolt sled in such a fashion that they withstand abuse and won’t break unless you are actively trying to destroy them (G-Rex and i have tried). The only metal bolt action that has given problems is the Eagle point and and part of that issue is the piece it connects to “hooks” onto the sled and it is easy for the hook to not catch the sled 100% of the time. The issue with the plastic pegs is that they are so flimsy, they can snap from normal usage or if a kid tries to muscle it too hard to clear a jam, it could strip out completely and ruin the peg (both of which I’ve seen a 10 year old do.) Painting, that’s an interesting question but it is, as i said, me just being picky. I’d wager that there are quite a lot of kids into decorating and painting their blasters. I think msee them all the time at the parks where i go for nerf meetups and i’ve been asked if i could do a spray job for some of them. But like i said in the video, for those that like the design, its fine. I just wish they wouldn’t do a skin and stick with various colored plastic pieces like they did with the Zombie Strike series of old.

And.. good news.. i happen to have a review in the can today. Due to my overzealousness, I decided to do a paint mod on it before edited and snapped a thumbnail… so… before I can launch that review, i need to finish recording the paint video i did. Stay tuned later this week for a dual video release!

Glad to see someone give this blaster love in group play. I’ve seen people buy this one. But never actually seen it in action. When i see brick & mortar blasters, I mainly see people running every other DZ Pro blaster but the dictator. Good on you!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who did that. 😂 It’s not my favorite lever action blaster either, but the fun factor is there for the kids; so i give it a pass.

Thank you for the feedback. I don’t like to talk bad about fellow reviewers because it’s a bad look, however, I will say that some of the more well known ones want what they want. That is to say, if they don’t get what they expect and want, then automatically it’s trash garbage. I like to approach it like this…. Is it what i want: yes/no? Am i being lied to or misled? Is it trying something new and just not working? What does G-Rex think? That is how i determine whether or not the product is worth it or not. Ultra ran into an issue that i compare it to engineers saying one thing and marketing teams twisting their words around and promising something else. For example, “pin point accuracy” could he explained as…. “Compared to our standard darts, these are highly accurate” being what was really said. “It could probably hit 125 feet with the right conditions” turns into “up to 125 feet”. As for the price point complaint, Ultra Darts are more durable than their Elite counterparts. Sure, i might spend more money for 20 Ultra Darts, but if those 20 darts last me longer than the 50 Elite Darts that cost the same, am i really going to be upset? For the record, since I’ve adopted into Ultra, I’ve modified all but 3 of the line to hit 150FPS (standard average is 100) and i’ve only broken 4 dart heads. As opposed to about 100 standard darts I’ve had to toss due to being worn out. 🤷🏻‍♂️ All that to say, if you have a chance to pick up a pharaoh, do so. I’m also a fan of the Scream Machine, AMP and Ultra Strike.

Generally you are correct, especially with longer barrels like those found on the Longshot, Longstrike, Recon and Retaliator. The Eaglepoint however has such a small extension, the drop off is nominal compared to the aesthetic and accuracy gains (since its accuracy is poor with the barrel, you can only imagine without). There are some noteworthy exceptions. Nexus Pro-X, Deuce Pro and my Prophecy come to mind.

While i agree with part of your statement, some of what you said is patently false. Nerf Rival Vision was available for less than $20 and it hit the 100 FPS mark. Dart Zone made the Conquest Pro that sold for 6 dollars more than this blaster and it exceeded the 100 FPS range. While the hobbyists like myself do make up the minority of consumers and we are not the target market, a lot of us are parents and know a cash grab when we see one and calling it out should be encouraged, not scorned. Especially when, as a parent, I get to see the disappointment in my kid’s face when something he gets as a gift fails to live up to expectations.

​@@SecondHandBlasters Unfortunately, Dartzone don't seem to sell outside of the USA, which pretty much invalidates their products in a global market. X-Shot are widely available, and represent good value... but they are widely criticised for the quality of their construction too. But obviously Rival, Hyper and Gelfire blasters simply aren't suitable for a lot of 'Nerfers'. They are aimed at a different audience. As for "cash grabs", setting up a commercial business is done to make money. Everyone wants a decent wage. Have you ever refused a pay rise? 😉 But little to no profits means no R&D (which brings us better products) and possibly no products at all, meaning less choice. Kid's expectations are often unrealistic, but giving the average 5 or 6 year old kid a 100fps blaster is probably a mistake. I do like your reviews, they are generally well balanced and I look forward to watching many more.

So, what i did with another blaster was remove the AR, tightened the o-ring and stretched the spring to get a little more power from it. Also removed the dart posts so it can shoot half darts. Technically you can cut a couple of coils from a Kronos spring and it will fit, but be warned, the internal plastics are not made for it, so you need to cut the coil properly or you risk the internals breaking after a time due to the pressure on the spring.
