I agree on Hwy 50. We took it heading to Salt Lake City once. Yes, it was out of the way, but I was tired of I-80. There is also a great Railway Museum on Hwy 50. It only took us 2 days, from Fernley to I35. Maybe added a day to going straight on I80. We also love to seek out sections of Route 66. There is a nice section between Seligman and Kingman full of historic things to look at, including the Grand Canyon Caverns. It's nice to go in a different direction.
Flaming Gorge National Recreation areas, was a great find in our travels, after traveling all 49 states ,Canada , and Mexico, this is still one of are favorite places to go.
California has a place just like City of Rocks, but its famous for all the movies shot there. Its called the Alabama Hills and if you're a movie buff, you'll love boondocking where all the westerns were shot. I was there shooting the new Hymer footage 2 years ago and its a great location just a few hours north of LA.
Great video! One of my favorite places is McCarthy, Copper Center in Alaska. It is in Wrangell-St-Elias National Park & Preserve. The glacier is right in front of us, and the copper river is right beside us. Wildflowers are everywhere. We paid $ 20 per night. The owner provided the purest spring water for us. I think you were there too.
This is one of the best informative videos I've seen on TH-cam. Got good ideas and will be visiting at least four of the mentioned sites. You guys do great videos, I'm a subscriber for life!
This was sooooo cool; great hearing from other folks their fav spot. One negative, the next time they're there, they may have a LOT of company from the rest of us!
Panguitch Ut. Is an old cowboy town. Birth place of Butch Cassidy. It is not far from Bryce , Zion National Parks and Utah 12 ranked second most beautiful roads in the world. Surrounded by mountains. Nice small town feel with very friendly folks.
Great idea for a recurring theme - keep the interesting ideas for camping spots coming. The "big ones" like Yellowstone are on everyone's radar; it's fun to learn about unique and out of the way places, unexpected charms.
Great ideas Mike & Jennifer. I was at City of Rocks last year, cannot recommend more highly...it’s awesome! Have to try some of these now. Thanks for all your great vids, tips, etc. Happy & safe travels! -Dale (2004 RT 210 Popular)

My wife and I discovered you two today via Traveling Robert's interview. Throughly enjoyed your refreshing take on Key West. Be safe!

Our favorite is the Lake Texana park at Edna Texas. We enjoyed your video on that one. Have been visiting there for over 20 years.

There is also a ferry from Cedar Island to Ocracoke Island too. It is about a 2 hour ride to get there but very relaxing.
Great video! I always enjoy hearing of new places to RV! Thank you for sharing!
Please, please do more of these interviews

Sounds like our kind of places...thanks for the info!
Very nice. I think we need to discover our own country before going abroad.
That city of rocks sounds very similar to chiricaua in southern arizona.
Craters of the Moon National Park in Idaho and Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada
Wonderful! thanks for the info😎
great video
Ocracoke Island is also the home of a herd of wild horses.
I think the Ocracoke Island is in the "Outlander" books written by Diana Galbadon .
Nice info...thanks.
