I really love the utensiis, they are awesome, and that newOpinel is sweet
Very cool never seen that set before
Great review of a great budget blade💯
The fork and spoon fit together in one slot and the no.8 goes in the other slot.
Opinel makes great knives. I enjoy modding them and making wet molded leather sheaths to match the knife. Well made, simple and super sharp.
Very cool
This is amazing I don’t own any opinel products but this fork and knife thing would work for my edc kit…..I’m definitely putting this stuff on my list👍🏻Thanks for sharing these awesome products.
Thank you and thanks for watching!!
Wow, I didn't realize Opinel made so many different knives. Thanks for the review - really helpful!
I’ve been carrying these forever. They kind of exist in their own ecosystem. Not as cheap as they once were, but nothing is. I love em.
Here in Malta, Opinel are very common here. They're available from just about everywhere - ironmongeries, stationeries. The common folk thinks they're cheap and bash them. But they're so wrong. I just love them.
They’re really well made!! Awesome and Very Very Sharp!!
@@theknifedoctor currently carrying the Bricolage model - the one which includes two bits in the synthetic grip along my LM Wave. Very sharp.
Their carbon steel is 1086 (XC90) while Inox is Sandvik stainless.
That is awesome.
Still haven’t pulled the trigger on that knife but with the attachments might have to fork over the frog skins..great video!
Thank you!!
If i didn't already carve my own utensils, i'd pick up one of those fork and spoon sets
I love Opinel , Victorinox , Mam , Old Bear Antonini , Boker , Puma , generaly all europian traditional knives
The fork and spoon head slot together and go into the small slot on that wrap your knife goes into the big one and it all wraps up as one
I love Opinel too! I have a #06, #08, #09 multi tool, #12 with gut hook. They are all like a razor! Great video Kevin 👍
Awesome! May have to look into the #9!!
That is a awesome picnic kit!!! I will definitely get one of those for my # 8
Those will work well for your Breakfast in the mornings!!
That's what I'm thinking!!
If you enjoy the Opinel knives you should check out the Svord peasant knives.
I’ll check them out! Who makes them?
Interesting piece of kit
I love Opinels! I have 4 models (no. 4, 6, 7, and 8)... Great knives and I didn't know about the spoon and fork! Wow! That's cool! Hey, sticker is on it's way and I also sent you an email this a.m. Thanks for all the great videos! Blessings!
I absolutely love Opinel’s. I have several of these, there in my opinion simple and at an amazing price, what’s not to like. And man I man can they cut / slice.
That's pretty cool I never knew they had that I'm gonna have to get one for my 8. Thanks for sharing
Opinel knives are fantastic I have 12 of them great camping knives
The picnic is in my bag daily for work. Saves using the grubby eating irons in work. Got mine in Annecy in France and it came with the knife. Always loved an opinel. Great knives. Quality kit and cheap enough not to worry to much if you lose one.
Awesome!!
@@theknifedoctor the number 12 saw is a decent bit of kit to if you ever come across one for a decent price. I'm lucky as we are in the Haute Savoie where they are made a couple of times a year for skiing in winter and watersports in summer. A mere 800 mile drive from North Wales to the south of France !!
I have just got to get myself an Opinel #8 knife…!
LOL!! They’re very Nice and Very Sharp!
Those are great knives! I have a few of them! They have been great!
I have the opinel Christopher Columbus.only one I own .The mini you received yesterday is cool 😎 I would like to have one .
Good review! Love my opinel!
Good vid,thanks for sharing.
I am surprised you did not get the green sport.
LOL. It’s a different green. 🤷
Awesome! 😊
Opinels are lightsaber level cutters, and belong in any camping kit for sure!
I had an opinel that I kept in the door pocket of my car and it was there for a year before I went to use it. It was completely rusted. It turns out that I had the carbon steel version, so it was my fault. If you plan on just keeping one in a kit that you don’t intend to look after often, maybe don’t get the carbon steel version.
Thanks for sharing this!!
Whaaaat that was trick for spoon an fork combo..Im in defiantly to get a couple sets..One for my truck an one for the camp box.. The sport is cool but not my cup of tea.
What's up Doc? Have you ever heard of a Cold Steel Twistmaster USA pocket knife? They are similar to the Opinel. But, made herein the States! 😊 Check it out when you get a chance...... Stay Sharp Brother!
I’ll definitely check it out!! Thanks
Hey brother I sent you some knife pictures on Facebook messenger. Great video!
