When you pick wild mushrooms use a old onion sack. So the spors from the mushrooms can fall off and replant as youb walk

Putting a kit together for my truck. I was looking for a good heavy knife. I found one I had bought at a flea market near Gatlinburg. It is full tang and made from an old file.the blade is probably close to a quarter inch thick. I think it will be great for stuff like this and striking a ferrorod. It still has a lot of file left on it too.
I forge a few knives out of everything from horseshoes to railroad spikes bearing races I made one out I’ve a coil spring off a 1969 Camaro it will hold an edge forever

Wasn't it hickory wood that Clint Eastwood used to beat ass in Pale Rider when he fought the bad guys in town by the supply shop, sticking up for his neighbor?
I tried breaking mine and couldnt do it without tools. I split an old 12inch log in half while trying to snap the tip off.
