There's something beautiful about seeing Aurora after all her trials, at the height of her power, standing strong against the mightiest foe she's ever faced.
I thought this fight was so underwhelming I finished my 2nd play through 2 days ago and it was the second time I beat this last boss first time nowhere close to dying. If I have one critique of this amazing game it’ll be how underwhelming and anticlimactic this fight was
@@pureunit4017 the problem with Umbra is, compared to some harder bosses like Crepusculum, is that she has too many different moves, many of which are often equal to 'do nothing' instead of doing damage. It's not that solely doing damage is fine, just look at the previous boss - she is likewise pathetic. Some of the mid-game bosses have a lot of threatening stuff like paralysis or resurrection.
I don't blame you: all in one game, Aurora has grown up so fast. You can feel that this doesn't just mark the end of the story nor Umbra's tyranny. It's the bittersweet end of Aurora the child, and the epic birth of Aurora the good queen...
EvaCreates I felt that way in the beginning. Then Nox was the hardest. Now, I don’t know who is the hardest. I’m kinda agreeing with crepesuculum though.
Same there bro, this game is literally my entire childhood ! I grew up playing this game with my brother, my father and sometimes, my cousin. Now I am 15 y/o, and everytime I remember this game, or my brother mention it, I feel like I'm about to burst into tears...Nostalgia really hits hard man.
Idk but it seemed to me that the first and last boss battles had an opening sequence where it zooms out from the background. While the other boss battles involve zooming in to the scene as the opening sequence.
Check this anime: Magic Knight Rayearth (specially episodes 48 and 49).... Sister betrays the protagonist and the evil step mother in black robes tries to take over the world, and only all enemies united and with the power of light they defeat her. ...(the anime is from 1994....10years before the game)
Why not use Gen? Her Paralyze ability can be almost considered cheating. You basically become invincible because the enemies are unable to score any hits on you. This is how you do it. First you defend with both party members to increase your speed for the next round. Just let the enemies throw the first hits. It's too hard to get the first hit in the first round anyway. Then you do this: Paralyze -> Attack -> Attack -> Paralyze -> Use potion to recover MP And then you keep repeating this pattern. It's an easy win. But it kinda takes the fun away because it simply becomes too easy :P
Well this is a 6 year old video... also most videos with boss fights always say stuff like "why do you only do this its not fair or right" whether it's optimal or not so who knows
I played first-time great strategy and ochuli is the perfect opportunity however the final boss cons is cast interruption can trick cause elevate damage.
They‘re both a joke when you rely on slow spells/elixirs and Igniculus, also Gen to bump them back on the line. Once the tentacles (and the birds) go down, I never let them attack lol
What about the dragon sister (Cam' t remember her name for the life of me)? If you got stupid about unlocking moves like I did, she'd wipe the floor with your team

Ultra Instinct Aurora?

@@goozma1337 funny thing is she has a skin/costume that makes her hair white lol
@@buubaluumajin1228 I saw it. To be honest I preferred that costume/skin vs her original.

I would LOVE to see this game made into a movie. And it MUST be traditionally animated by Don Bluth.
I remember when I played this, for some reason I found myself sobbing during this fight.
Tony Lunar Yeah, cause it was difficult for me.
I’m on cepuscilum👍🏻
I killed umbra 3 times

what got me was the fact that she had to accept her father's death, and chose to protect the people of Lemuria
The only bosses that I really had trouble with was the Griffin and the Spider.
EvaCreates I felt that way in the beginning. Then Nox was the hardest. Now, I don’t know who is the hardest. I’m kinda agreeing with crepesuculum though.
I’m on cepuscilum
For me the Hardest Boss was The spider because i got killed 3-4 Times in accident
@@Mooglekingcatnick I recommend going for the smaller spiders first then use Nox for slowing down the boss when your finished with the smaller ones
Griffin is easy use aurora to kill the ghosts and kill the griffin
Time to save da...Oh.
This is a fantastic game and wish I could play it again like the first time.

Use unstoppsble potions
Imo i was always bummed you never fight the her sister or umbra in human form before their monster forms that wouldve been so cool imo
dat music
Yeah 😊
man the music in this game went hard fr
I fight with her and I win and my parents are surprised because they can't defeat her
Lol it took me a lot of time to get her on expert
2:40 el extasis

where can i find music from 0.01 to 2.21 ? plz help me. It is not actually '' Aurora's theme "
+odbayar erdene " "Down to a Dusty Plain"
+danilogicus oh thanks.
Auroras theme
Love this game :)
Guys i know this is a weird question but... how can Aurora has a red underneath her dress? ( just asking) :))
It's the way the dress is design;
The red part is most likely sewn on.
+Night Silver Chelly Ok thanks for telling me. :)
Angel Twins
No problem!
Night Silver Chelly How can i Get it?
More important question: Why do royal women in this game HATE SHOES?
Dam easiest and shortest boss fight of the series I think.
Really? I won this one with 2 HP left on Aurora and Oengus dead. lol
Everyone at around level 55 though.
Well against Master LL I think.
play it on hard mode
The two statues were the easiest. This one being second for me.
Naga Rhul I used Gen and Aurora. I only used Gen so that I could paralyze all of them repeatedly. Not a well known strategy, but really useful.
But... she is a princess.
Is my character gonna look like that?
No only if you buy the dlc for 30 bucks
Yes
I think u can get a blue dress but I got the white hair and black dress
umm wtf she was SO EASY tbh Nox was 10 billion times harder than this one
not on hard mode, holy damn Umbra wipes my party in one turn every time
the difference is that Nox is faster, but a simple hit of Umbra can fucked up your party
I beat nox and umbra in expert mode and none of my party members died.

Nox is harder in my opinion
