Brother when you go to Brazil you learn their culture, you go to Asia you learn their culture. It goes without saying especially as a black man, when you go to Africa you learn the culture of your people. It’s a sign of respect and as a result it has a lot of advantages.

I think Kenya is the best country for Africans in general not only for African Americans
I live in south Africa by the way. When I do a research online I see Kenya on top of my list not only on infrastructure but how Kenyans behave towards other African people
My country has infrastructure and all that but when it comes to ubuntu its far from Kenya
We still experiencing racism here in some part of the country

Poverty in Africa and in south Africa is not about individualism is a collective
People are not poor because are lazy to think or lazy to work, it's far fetched than you think bro
The system is not conducive for most Africans and you know it
Just because few people made it to the top doesn't necessarily means there's plenty of opportunity
You won't get since you have no idea how those opportunities don't exist for many

I love this. Auston is a young, somewhat hip, black American who is telling his experience on the continent. I'm African myself who has travelled abroad and I can relate to some of the shortcomings on the continent. We as black people are looking for good travel experiences and we are tired of the whole travel while black thing. We naturally look to Africa as ground zero for these experiences and travels and we still have some way to go. In the private sector especially. I think black Africans are awakening and have a keen and strong interest in our brothers from America. They need to come over and help build, improve, invest and vice versa. Much needed open discussions. Would recommend Auston to visit other more sophisticated and dynamic African countries like South Africa, Namibia, etc.

Backdrops are key in podcasts, so we appreciate the new digs! The background appropriately eye-catching graphics should be applied to the back wall instead of those frames, which just hover there randomly creating no play in the negative space. A long interestingly shaped table with some design flare in either its scale or geometry or both, should be installed in such a manner that it frames and balances the interlocutors in a unified manner. Even in Nigeria , once you leave Lagos , Abuja and a few other cities in the south of nigeria , you will find that lifestyle of the women in the rest of the country will be like that of the Rwandan women ie conservative , especially northern nigeria . And I believe this is true for most non-capital / commercial cities in Africa . Why would you leave America to go back to America? Like I thought the point was to get away .. I like the outskirts of the city of Kenya that is NOT like America

He means the modernization and the infrastructure not the agendas not the type of people lol. He definitely should've explained that better though

He's speaking in terms of infrastructure and available services. Nothing wrong with that per se.

Even if infrastructure is similar, Any african country will automatically feel way different to America because we are black majority

I believe Rwanda is more Safer and Calm it's more family-oriented. Oshay is being too biased on Uganda it's like he is heavily advertising instead of being Neutral

i wish to retire in Africa, off the grid, maybe with a small farm, which country is best for such a scenario, buying land, getting permits to dig bore holes, small scale road building to your location from a main road? Logistics is what i need to learn more about, i have a lot of research to do , any insights are welcome.

You can invest in Kenya as a farmer. It all depends on what kind of farming you want to do. Plus, you can lease large tracks of land. Great areas to do farming away from Nairobi with consistent rainfall or water super are Muranga, Nyeri, Limuru, Kakamega, Kisii. These areas are good for farming vegetables and dairy farming.
The areas with higher water tables and therefore better access to borehole water are Kibwezi, Kajiado, Isiolo and Nanyuki. These areas are much warmer and drier but good for farming fruits and onions.
In the coastal areas you can farm Cashew nuts, coconut products, tamarind and Baobab products.
You can look into Bee keeping as well. The prospects with this are great 👍🏽
For large scale farming of cash crops such as wheat, you can look into an area called Narok. For tea, coffee and Macadamia farming, look into Muranga, Kericho, Kisii, Nyeri. All the best and karibu Kenya, Karibu nyumbani. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
