As a Nigerian, after doing lots of research, I would say the system in Kenya is way more advanced than Nigeria and Ghana. Available Amenities, system of production, cost of living, availability of daily lively hood items, from food to machinery, the system is working. Nigerians are just very hard working , smart unfortunate people trapped in the most unfortunate system ever. Our people are just flashy and flamboyant people but after that nothing. Nothing works in Nigeria even though we have all it takes.

Am Ghanian and totally agree mate. Kenya really is a lot more developed than we are. I can honestly understand why Kenya would appeal to foreign tourists a lot more than Nigeria and Ghana. Kenya has better infrastructure, nightlife, pristine white sand beaches with miles and miles of blue/green ocean. Not to mention Safari and a lot of wildlife reserves. Even has cooler weather in the highlands. Ghana has a much smaller tourism sector and hardly anyone visits Nigeria as tourists for any reason. It's mostly Nigerians from abroad.
It is not a matter of throwing your own country under the bus. If we don't ask critical questions, we will never improve. The problems have to be highlighted, in order to correct them. I am afraid at the rate we are going, it is going to take us 100 years to get it together. We have exponentially more people than sustainable jobs and opportunities for them. Ever see those desperate illegal migrants from west Africa, who make a perilous trek accross the Sahara to break into Europe. Must be something propelling them to foolishly risk their lives as such?

Kenyans are bending over and kissing the ring for foreign capital, that is why their governments tried to raise taxes and people started riots. Nigeria and Ghana don't want private European companies to enslave us via ownership of all systems of production. We know we have the greatest potential but it's deep. And not surprising that African Americans are looking for America without white Americans. But only real Africans understand playing a game on someone else's term is for suckers. Nigeria is a big place, do what you can and leave the rest for the younger generation.

@@sylviasworld9397 Many people are doing well in Nigeria but what we are saying is that the system in Kenya is working. We are talking the ease of carrying out day to day life activities, ease of doing business, ease of movement, electricity, access to loans, we are talking a place to relax and be at peace. Do you know that there are very affluent places in Lagos Nigeria like Lekki where you have a lot of millionaires more than in Nairobi but they experience black out for 3 days and even when the light comes it stays like 3 hrs and then thats it until the next 3 days? We are talking of organizational structure.. for example in Kenya the Chinese can easily establish a motorcycle assembly warehouse that can give the citizens cheap durable motorcycles. Many Nigerians cannot afford a Tekken 250 or a vogue rally 250. Come to Nigeria then you will know what the government put us through

    Dear Host and Panelist,
Ghana and Kenya are NOT in a competition. Both have their own unique strengths and weakness just like any other country in Africa and the world at large. Go where you consider the best fit for you.
Nobody can diminish the role and influence of Ghana in Pan-Africanism.
Make content that unites people of African descent rather than put us asunder. If Kenya is doing something better than Ghana, I am happy for Kenya because it means Ghana can learn from our East African neighbors. No need to pit Ghana against Kenya. A win for one African country is a win for all. It enhances the collective African experience on the global scene.

Ghana is not supposed to be a dream for everyone. It is for those who are built for it.
There are 53 other options for folks to explore and find what they seek…
Folks are advised to due the proper due diligence and be honest with what they are looking for.
Freehold title is not available to non citizens or foreigners. Of that is a deal breaker, folks should understand that similar laws apply throughout west and East Afrika.
As such that search is better advised for Southern Afrika.

Before Ghana extended the gesture and opened up for the return, what other Afrikan cou try had a similar initiative?
Apart from Benin Salone and Rwanda, what other country on the continent has similar initiative?
Ghana needs to review and repeal its rightof abode policy. Diapora has 50+ other alternatives to w olore and seek their niche in..
That way folks can truly know the difference.
And if there are better opportunities, there will be no excuse not to take advantage of same. For example, if one is seekingto purchase land as in freehold title, and Ghana already has the prohibition of such sale to all foreigners and non citizens, then if a 50 year leasehold is not acceptable and is a deal breaker, you already know to look elsewhere. And not in East or West of the continent; as most of the countries have the similar land tenure laws. Look more to Southern Afrika, excluding Tanzania, which is also like Ghana.

But please understand that Ghana in terms of land mass is a very small country. When it comes to Land, even for the locals, it's a dog eat dog world. When you get a population of millions of people all trying to get a piece of the country, this desperation leads to scamming. It doesn't mean all other African countries are in a similar situation.

Additionally, our government started pushing this agenda of people of African decent relocating back to Africa way before it was popular ie. back in the 90s with Panafest and very recently the year of the return and also when George Floyd was murdered.
Like with Independence, we are ahead of our peers. Our good image has come with hard work and planning and not by social media hype.
Im not gonna lie, developmentally, we ain't there but like a Black star, we will surely shine one day. There is definitely hope for the future.
Any AA relocating should see himself/herself as somebody who can also contribute to building Africa to be home they want it to be.
Therefore, do not soil our name to promote others.
Our position is not by chance
      We can all equally thrive
The world is big enough for all of us to do well.
      Spread the love ❤

😂😅 Following for all Kenyans who are planning to visit Ghana 🇬🇭. I think different nations will work differently for different people. I have even seen black people going to settle in Egypt!😮 People have different motivations and preferences when moving. Ghana works well for others. Kenya 🇰🇪 and Africa should do better though in welcoming AAs considering the important role they played in our independence. Our independence is directly connected to the Civil Rights Movement. As African Americans were fighting for their rights they were also pushing for Freedom of Africans. Malcolm X mentored and funded the likes of Pio Gama Pinto, who was assassinated 3 days after X.

I’m from east Africa/the horn: the slave trade back then is so complicated because the Arabs you see today in the Middle East are heavily mixed their origin is east Africa. The slave traders were from Tanzania and some other parts of east Africa they were black and had Arab names, this is why it’s important to know that “Arab” is not a race but a mixture of black East Africans and Persians from ancient times black East African Arabs owned white women slaves aswell.

Arab is a race. You have to be born in Arabia an can trace your ancestors to the land. The other definitions is just clever politics.
The Swahili slave trade was the most brutal ever. Worse than holocaust. They used to chain people to walls with hooks through the skin tissues and castrate you(balls and dickens) and leave to either bleed out or survive. Fatality was 90%. A castrated man is a living dead man, cant reproduce. The black people in Arabia were mostly from black female concubines.

Arabs are not of Afro descent. They are Caucasians. Caucasians originate from the Caucus mountains aka Eurasia. Arabs migrated to Northern Africa and took over that region. The Indigenous Black people moved to the Southern regions of each territory. The slave trader Tippu Tip was born to a wealthy slave trader father in Zanzibar. The Muslim world was sustained by slave holding societies. And those Muslim countries were the last to abolish slavery in North Africa. There's nothing to glorify about the Arab Slave trade. The horrors the atrocities and ills our people faced was horrendous. Despite the horrors, they survived. Most of the slaves were taken from East Africa towards South Asia and the Middle East

The African American diasporas have so much content to talk about in Ghana, they dont even think about talking about other countries. But i notice in kenya some black Americans TH-camrs cant go without a month mentioning Ghana or another west African country in their title, it seems the black American TH-camrs in kenya runs out of content, so they need to tag Ghana to draw in the views. Why is it the black Americans in kenya cant feel comfortable just making videos about kenya only, like how the African Americans in Ghana who never will make such click bait titles, because Ghana got so much content to keep them occupied.

All africans are same, it's just the govt policies that are different. Only africans will agree with me. Foreigners dont get it.

Government policies are actually the same. What make a difference is how we were colonized and how former colonial powers handle us currently.

@@felixmakinda7689 And that is basically government policy. The difference between Zimbabwe and South Africa is Mugabe. The difference between Kenya and Tanzania is Julius Nyerere and the difference between Rwanda and Burundi is Kagame. It's not how colonial powers handle us, it is how our governments handle colonial powers

@@theblack5416 an interesting observation. I was watching that French TH-camr cycling his strange trike from Ethiopia to Kenya. Immediately he crossed the border, behaviours and environment changed despite the people on both sides of the border being Oromo.

Lol, I've seen dozens of Africans saying the opposite of what you're saying. They also argue and fight a LOT on TH-cam and social media demonstrating that there is tension even if y'all have a lot in common.

I lived in the USA and Australia and the black Americans and Australian Aborigines have similar traits. They love to drink and don’t take advantage of all the incentivise government programs created to help them close the gap.
