Recently, I've been teaching myself how to use Sketchup, so this week, I'm showing you how I put my new skills to the test by designing this mitre saw stand with folding extension arms on wheels, PLUS, created a fence with an easy homemade t track and stop block.
It's mobile, easy to move around, and has now created additional storage - not just storage for my shop vac!

I think it's great that you made your own bench. Its good to se a woman taking on projects like this. I've recently made a similar rolling cart/station for my miter box.
If I could add just one bit of advice regarding safety for you and all who watch this video. At 8:06 you show your piece to be cut to the right of the saw blade and butted up against your stop block and your hand on the piece of wood to be cut to the left of he blade. This is a VERY risky way of making that cut.
When using a stop block you should ALWAYS have a hand on the same side of blade as the stop block is on. Switch the stop block you use or switch which hand you use to pull the trigger. Otherwise you risk that board being flung out of the work station at lightening speed and risk getting slapped in the face with it, especially if you were to raise the blade before it stops completely, which happens sometimes when we get tired.
I've been a professional finish carpenter for about 35 yrs. now. And I see this same mistake shown on so many TH-cam videos and every time I think someone is going to get hurt doing that. Don't mean to be the safety police, but is probably one of the worst things you can do with that saw. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work!

To hold large pieces of wood in place to fix together, I suggest buying a bench metal bender and some 2mm steel sheets.
Bend to 90 degrees, then you can clamp the wood, I have a number of sizes of bent steel sheets for this purpose.

There's absolutely no wobbles at all :) It was on some underlay for most of the build which I'd put down as anti-fatigue mats as I have patellar tendinopathy - but I've had to take that out now so I can move it around.

I absolutely wasn't offended ;) I would have wondered the same thing as you want it to last when you go to the effort :) As long as you put supports on it with 12mm, (including glue and screws) when using 12mm ply, I'm sure you'll be fine. I'd be inclined to do the same support and overlap with wheels even with thicker ply. You don't want it collapsing mid-cut.
