I'm genuinely betting on a broadway musical. It does feel like Encanto was written to be on broadway, and there's so many more songs that could be added to flesh out more characters or some plot points. I'd love more information on Mariano and Isabela, and how he and her met/got engaged. Was Isabella faking it the whole time? Or was it something pushed by their respective matriarchs? How about a love ballad from Dolores, or maybe something to expand on Camilo still trying to find himself? Hell, they could make the entire first act pre Mirabel; what Abuela did after she became the matriarch, how Felix and Pepa/Juiletta and Augistin met and got married, a song from Bruno walking through his decision to leave, and then the second half is the movie with some more spice and flavor and character fleshing going on.
My point is, Encanto would be perfect for broadway, especially since the animation process shows that they used people to... reference the dance moves? Basically it shows the dancing can be done irl and I need it in my life.

Have they sung this live before? The breath control was very average to me. And it seemed like they slowed down the song alot to allow for better breathing while walking and dancing. I think they inserted a faster rap break mainly because the song is slow.

Incredibly disappointing. The original cast was the ones that took that song to number 1. Their interpretation was the one that people loved and tuned in to watch. It was sad and very disrespectful that they became the backup singers of others that have NOTHING to do with the success of the song they performed in the first place. Everything went wrong since the rap part appeared, the beginning was good, but the rest had nothing to do with it, what were Becky G, Meghan and Luis Fonsi doing there? I don't understand, they took away all the Colombian essence and the best part was that of Camilo Madrigal and Dolores Madrigal. I WOULD NOT SAY ANYTHING IF THEY HAD AT LEAST PUT COLOMBIAN ARTISTS LIKE MALUMA, J BALVIN, SHAKIRA, CARLOS VIVES, KAROL G OR SILVESTRE DANGOND INSTEAD OF LUIS FONSI, BECKY G AND MEGHAN WHO ARE NOT COLOMBIAN. Luis Fonsi was completely lost, and they completely overshadowed the artists of the original version. Excellent work for Carolina Gaitan, Mauro Castillo and the other girls from the original cast, I think there is one called Stephanie
