- See why a white underprint is paramount when printing on clear labels or media.
The UNINET IColor toner-based series of printers are all capable of white underprint in ONE PASS.
For more information, visit www.icolorprint.com or call 631-590-1040
Getting ready to purchase this and want to confirm I will be good for using waterslide decal paper for use on model cars
see this youtuber who is having success printing on this media: th-cam.com/video/hiVVZFq5OjQ/w-d-xo.html
Great product...I like it...
Allan Aprov do you have an Icolor printer?
None yet. We're planning to have one for our Service Center and planning also to market the product. We are already a dealer of Xerox products. Xerox don't have Garment printers...
so you trade out the black toner for a white toner? how are the blacks when using CMYW or clear mode? thanks!
The composite black produced is excellent.
How do you get the white underprint to not show passed the color image?
The RIP uses a technique called "choking" that reduces the size of the white layer so it will not show behind the color layer
Does underprint work for transfer on black shirts??
For black shirts you would use the overprint application instead!
I purchased the 560 and I go to print and it says bypass tray is empty. I have the computer and the 560 set to tray 1. Why does it continue to look for bypass tray? The only way it will print is if I single feed the paper through bypass tray. Also when it comes out the paper is curled not flat. Almost like it is way to hot.
You need to change the default values of ProRIP which is programmed to look for media in the MPT only.
Do the inks easily scratch off if you rub it with your nail?
Toner is quite durable on synthetic medias, it will not scratch easily under normal use, a UV coating or clear lamination can be applied for additional durability.
CAN I USE THE ICOLOR 500 FOR THIS KIND OF PAPER? THANK YOU
Yes the iColor 500 can be used for the underprint application
Is there a tutorial on how to print white underprint?
Check our ProRIP tutorials for assistance with white underprint on our Transfer printers.
How do get the white under print on ProRIP exactly?
This demonstration was using a different RIP for the label printer series. In ProRIP you would simply click the underprint tab to enable white first printing (and also reorder your toners accordingly)
My white under print doesn't look good. I've tried just about every setting. Now supposedly I have to spend another $900 on a "special" toner kit to get it to look decent.
The included toner with your printer is for making transfers. You can optionally purchase the special upgrade toner kit for the underprinting application.
OH HOO! I see said the blind man!
How to!!!???? paper Name??? plz
Underprinting white is available with iColor printers. The media is a specialty clear media used on the iColor 700.
